This study was conducted to compare the degree of salt tolerance as kinds of pasture plants in reclaimed coastal land. The experiment was designed with 10 cultivars of pasture plants and salt concentration of three levels. DM yields of perennial ryegrass, tall fescue, tall wheatgrass and alfalfa were higher than those of orchardgrass, birdsfoot trefoil and ladino clover at low salinity. Pasture plants were not grown at high salinity treatment and DM yields of pasture plants at medium salinity was lower than that of low salinity treatment. The growth of perennial ryegrass, tall fescue, tall wheatgrass and alfalfa was better than that of others in reclaimed coastal land.
사료내 Lysine과 에너지수준이 육성돈의 성장과 산육성적에 미치는 영향

This experiment was conducted to study the effects of two levels of energy (DE 3,150, 3,400 kcal) and two levels of lysine (0.75, 0.90%) on the growth and carcass productivity in growing pigs. Sixty barrows (L × W ×D : 30.5kg B. Wt) were randomly allotted to 4 treatements, and each treatment consisted of 3 replicates and 5 pigs per replicate. After the 49 days feeding trial twenty-fourbarrows were slaughtered for carcass evaluation . Pigs on DE 3,400 kcal-lysine 0.75% and 0.90% groups showed higher(824.49, 826.53g) and DE 3,150 kcal-lysine 0.75% and 0.90% groups showed higher(2.13, 3.06) feed efficiency, respectively. Dressing percentage and lean-meat percentage were not affected by dietary energy and lysine levels. Dietary treatments did not alter backfat thickness even though there was a numerical increase in backfat thickness of groups fed diets high in energy.
인산과 석회시용이 alfalfa의 생장,acetylene환원력 및 수용성 탄수화물 함량에 미치는 영향

This study was to investigate the effects of phosphate (Control, 170 and 340kg/ha) and lime(Control, 2,500, 5,000 and 10,000 kg/ha) applications on growth, acetylene reduction activity and total-water soluble carbohydrates content(TSC) of alfalfa. The effect of phosphate application on dry weight, root nodule and acetylene reduction activity of alfalfa at 8 and 13 weeks(early bloom)after sowing in the soil pH 5.75, but the effect of lime application was not significantly different between levels. Phosphate and lime applications were not significantly different between levels on total nitrogen content in shoot and root of alfalfa at 8 and 13 weeks after sowing. But on total nitrogen content in root of alfalfa, phosphate application was appeared the decreased trend as comparing with that of no phosphate application. The effects of phosphate and lime applications were not significantly different between levels on TSC in root and crown of alfalfa at 13 weeks after sowing, whereas TSC in crown of alfalfa was higher than that in root. Inconclusively, phosphate(340kg/ha0and lime(2,500kg/ha) applications had highly effects on growth, acetylene reduction activity and TSC of alfalfa in the soil pH 5.75.
