Preparation of Large Area $TiO_2$ Thin Films by Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition

Chemical vapor deposition using titanium tetra isopropoxide(TTIP) was employed to investigate effects of process parameters on the uniformity of $TiO_{2}$this films deposited on Indium Tin Oxide (ITO)coated glass. Deposition experiments were carried out at temperatures ranging from $300^{\circ}C$ to $400^{\circ}C$ under the pressure of 0.5~2 torrin a cold wall reactor which can handle 200mm substrate. It was found that the growth rate of $TiO_{2}$was closely related to the reaction temperature and the ractant gas compositions. Apparent activation energy for the deposition rate was 62.7lkJ/mol in the absence of $O_{2}$ and 100.4kj/mol in the presence of $O_{2}$, respectively. Homogeneous reactions in the gas phase were promoted when the total pressure of the reactor was increased. Variance in the film thickness was less than a few percent, but at high deposition rates film thickness was less uniform. Effects of reaction temperature on $TiO_{2}$ thin film characteristic was investigated with SEM, XRD and AES.
스피커를 이용한 ABS와 PP의 손실계수 및 영률 측정

It is essential to control noise and vibration in various industrial fields. In the automobile industry, various plastics have been developed and replaced metallic materials in order to reduce mass and vibration effectively. In this study, we measured and analyzed the Young’s moduli and the loss factors of Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS) and Polypropylene(PP). In order to solve the fundamental error to determine the two quantities, a loudspeaker was used instead of conventional electromagnetic devices to generate bending motion to the specimens and a laser vibrometer was also used in detection of vibration signal of the specimen. The measured Young’s moduli and loss factors of the ABS specimen were nearly constant as the temperature(-10~60 ℃) was increased. The loss factor of PP specimen showed peak value at 20 ℃ and it means that there is glass transition for the PP specimen. Young’s modulus of PP specimen was linearly decreased as the temperature was increased.
고형 폐기물의 고온고압수 처리를 위한 반 회분식 장치의 Quick Injection System

Quick injection system을 보유한 반 회분식 반응기를 이용하여 보다 안정된 반응조건에서 고온고압수의 가수분해 반응을 행하였다. 이 장치는 고형물의 분해에 따르는 반응의 초기단계를 정밀히 해석할 수 있는 장점을 지니고 있다. 본 연구에서는 폐기물 생선내장에 함유되어 있는 단백질을 이용하여 가수분해 반응에 의해 생성되는 아미노산의 생성수율과 관련하여 생성거동, 효과적인 공정 그리고 아미노산의 수율에 영향을 미치는 반응온도의 효과에 대해서 알아보았다. 본 실험결과, 생성된 아미노산은 Gly, Ala, Ser 및 Asp과 같은 저분자량의 아미노산이 지배적이었다. 또한 반응온도 300℃, 샘플링 시간 2.5 min의 공정에서 최대의 아미노산 수율(229 mg/g-dry entrails)을 얻을 수 있었다. Hydrolysis in high temperature and high pressure water was studied using semi-batch reactor with quick injection system at pre-existing stable reaction conditions. This is useful for accurate analysis of the initial reaction stage of hydrothermal decomposition of proteins in fish-derived wastes. The apparatus is also employed to study a process and temperature for effective production of amino acids. As a result, simple amino acids such as Gly, Ala, Ser and Asp were dominantly present in the products. Maximum yield of total amino acids(29㎎/g-dry entrails) was obtained at 300℃ and a sampling time of 2.5 min.

An automation of primary vibration calibration system was developed and tested. Using GPIB interface, the console PC make the control of equipments, signal collecting and save measuring results automatically by the instructions in the program by Visual Basic. Several trials of automatic calibration for the accelerometer(ENDEVCO 2270) using this developed system give the reliable results.
