      • 해안 도로상의 EPS 하중경감공법의 해석

        The expansion of old road is needed in constructing the entrance at the $\bigcirc$$\bigcirc$I/C road in $\bigcirc$$\bigcirc$city. To strength the national competition, many agents who concerned do their best for finishing that construction early as soon as possible. In generally, soil embankment on soft foundation is caused to reduce the stability by making the settlement of ground surface due to the over load. Thus, we try to make it stable by building EPS embankment construction which in our working place is one kind of the method of light embankment construction after excavating the original ground.

        This study is a suggest a measurement method of lateral displacement, which can be used to judge the stability of bridge abutment on soil undergoing lateral movement. The abutment of bridge on soft foundation makes lateral movement due to the settlement of back fill and lateral flow. To measure the displacement of such a abutment, there are a lot of indirect method for measurement such as survey of leveling or inclinometer gauge around the abutment. But all of them are not sufficient to confirm the ground behavior and measure the exact lateral behavior of structure. As making the structure and pile cooperatively by measuring the movement of lateral displacement, for measuring the abutment displacement precisely by using the inclinometer. In this work, we try to suggest efficient measuring method of abutment displacement and its application.

        유한요소해석을 이용한 연직배수재의 타설범위에 따른 개량효과에 관한 연구

        Soft foundation is extensively distributed in coastal areas including our local regions. Embankment load on such soft foundation causes displacement due to lack of base ground supports. Long-term consolidation can result in settlement and destruction of shear failure and structure. Therefore, a variety of vertical drain methods are applied to construction sites to prevent base from breaking and changing for secure construction. This study analyzed the patterns of changes displacement to determine efficient range of improvement since range of vertical drain material determines vertical and horizontal changes based on the width range of under ground improvement. Changes of intensity with distance from embankment edge were also analyzed in the field study of embankment slope. 우리나라의 서남해안 지역과 내륙의 하천 인근 지역은 상당한 범위에 걸쳐 점성토 지반이 형성되어 있다. 연약지반상의 제체는 지지지반의 지지력 부족으로 인하여 변위를 일으킨다. 장기적인 압밀은 구조체의 침하나 전단파괴를 가져올 수 있다. 따라서, 지반의 파괴와 과다변형을 억제하기 위해서 건설현장에 다양한 연직배수공법을 적용한다.이 연구는 지반개량의 범위에 기초하여 연직배수재를 연직 및 수평방향으로 변화시켜 효율적인 개량 범위의 형태를 결정하고자 한다. 제체의 가장자리로부터 거리에 따른 강도의 변화는 제체 사면의 현장 값으로부터 해석되어진다.

        서해안 고속도로의 노상처리를 위한 Soil-cement 적용 사례연구

        The region of Kochang (Chollabuk-Do) located in the west-southern area of the Korea and passed by the West Coast Expressway has the yellow collar soil(Hwang-To) primarily containing clay. Hwang-To servers as a soil appropriate for growing the watermelon and yam, but as a subgrade material not strong for constructing the roads. Particularly, the subgrade material of this study site was not qualified for the standard of the subgrade material quality. The properties of the subgrade layer showed that the strength of the subgrade material was not strong enough to sustain the subgrade strength in constructing the roads since the passing ration of the No. 200 sieve was about 25% to 82% and the ground water level was nearly equal to subgrade one. Thus, the objective of this study was to present the methods obtaining the proper subgrade strength of cutting area to construct the secure and solid expressways in the fragile area. 우리나라 서남권에 해당하는 서해안고속도로가 통과하는 전라북도 고창지역은 점토분이 많이 내포돼 있는 황토가 많다. 황토는 수박이나 고구마 같은 작물의 재배에는 양질의 토사이지만, 도로를 구축하기 위한 노상재료로 사용하는데는 원하는 강도값을 얻기가 힘들 토사였다. 이 연구 대상구간의 지역은 절토부의 노상재료가 원하는 재료의 품질기준을 충족시키지 못하였다. 노상층의 재료 특성을 보면, #200번체 통과량이 25~82%정도로 지하수위가 거의 노상면과 일치하여 자연함수비 과다로 시공시 노상토의 지지력 확보가 불가능한 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구는 이와 같이 지지력이 부족한 현장에 적절한 절토부 노상지지력의 학보방안을 수립하여 원하는 공정을 추진함으로서 보다 안전하고 튼튼한 고속도로를 건설하는데 있었다.

      • 해안 연약지반상의 교량 구조물 변위 억제

        Since 1970s, though many effective construction methods have been established to solve soft ground problems which had occurred in the off shore land reclamation and on shore highway construction, lateral movement of structure on soft ground is still a big problem to engineers. In this study an applicability of criteria for determining the lateral movement of the structure in soft ground is examined and most measured data is obtained from 140 bridge abutments in highway construction sites. Characteristics and effectiveness of existing methods that used for deciding amount of lateral movements of abutment are analyzed using the obtained data. From the analysis, a proper method to prevent lateral movement is proposed. This method is confirmed on several case histories which were constructed on marine clay.
