O/W · W/O Emulsion의 Tribology 특성 연구

We have been so much interested in the lubrication of emulsion property recently. In particular, O/W and W/O type emulsion have a good property to be used in the Lubricative situation of several services. Therefore, in this section we have studied about the lubricational characteristics in Neat Oil, O/W and W/O type emulsion using the Falex, wear test machine. The result is as follows. 1. In the case of O/W and W/O type emulsion, the beginning friction coefficient than Neat Oil, but it becomes more excellent as the time passes. especially, the W/O type becomes the more excellent. 2. As the load increase, a change in temperature shows to us be nearly similar and all of them, the O/W type is the most excellent in the temperature characteristic. 3. In the beginning, the anti-wear characteristic of emulsion lowers, but after the some load has stability, O/W and W/O type is excellent in order of anti-wear characteristic. 4. In the regular hours, a change in the emulsion becomes settled, so the character of temperature is superior. specially, O/W type is predominant. Therefore, the emulsion in case of the O/W and W/O type are more excellent than Neat oil in the thermal stability and can improve the characteristics of tribology.

The use of oil pressure machinery is projected to increase due to recent trends in mechanical engineering and industrial automation related to automatic operation and remote control. Accordingly, this study is intended to find improved ways of adapting the speed conool circuits of oil pressure winches when connected to other industrial machinery. For this study, the telescopic lift car was used as the experimental model. Since the carriage of this equipment doesn't require accurate speed, a standardized reduction proportion and scope was dcvised. Tools such as meter-in circuit, meter-out circuit, bleed-off circuit, etc. are used for speed reduction by oil pressure. In this study, I selected the bridge-off-circuit and performed an experiment while considering various given conditions. The results from the experiment are as follow: 1. Φ 1.0 : The speed reduction proportion and scope is unsatisfactorily too small. 2. Φ 1.5 : O.K. 3. Φ 2.0 : The speed reduction proportion and scope is too large and shows much fluctuation. In condition, this study shows that since the equipment conducting works up and down such as industrial machine, crane, cars working in the high places, etc. needs less actuator speed than other machinery like a lathes and milling machine, the bleed-of f-circuit method of adjusting the orifice diameter to 1.5 as a way of reducing dangerously high speed, removing slippage and high pressure, is considered to be most desirable.
