Simple and Highly Efficient Synthesis of [$^{11}C$]methionine Using Solid-Phase Extraction Method

We developed simple and highly efficient synthesis method for [$^{11}C$]methionine using solid-phase extraction method. For synthesis, we used C18 cartridge. [$^{11}C$]methionine was synthesized on C18 cartridge according to the solid-phase [$^{11}C$]methylation of precursor L-homocysteine thiolactone hydrochloride. The radiochemical yields of [$^{11}C$]methionine was $48.9{\pm}7.93%$ decay corrected (results of 30 syntheses, mean$\pm$SD), with average production higher than 180 mCi. This procedure showed high yield and simple synthesis of [$^{11}C$]methionine.

Computer graphics applications such as virtual reality, games, animation begin from 3D modeling. The technology of 3D modeling and deformation has become an active research field in the past few decades from the combination of basic 3D primitives to the realistic modeling and deformation algorithm. In this paper, we introduce recent trends in 3D human modeling and deformation technology.

The size of raw data has dramatically increased due to the recent trend of Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) development plans for high resolution and high definition image acquisition. The large raw data has an impact on satellite operability due to the limitations of storage and transmission capacity. To improve the SAR operability, the SAR raw data shall be compressed before transmission to the ground station. The Block Adaptive Quantization (BAQ) algorithm is one of the data compression algorithm and has been used for a long time in the spaceborne SAR system. In this paper, an optimization method of BAQ threshold table is introduced using real SAR raw data to prevent the degradation of signal quality caused by data compression. In this manner, a new variation estimation strategy and a new threshold method for block type decision are introduced.

In this study, high purity fine $BaTiO_3$ powders were prepared by SHS (Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis). We would examinate the study of sintering properties and characteristics as a function of temperature with various additives (binder, sintering agent). In separately binder addition, the green and sintered density of specimen were increased as binder content increases. The increased porosity resulted in fine grain size due to the inhibition of grain boundary moving. The $Al_{2}O_{3},\;TiO_{2}$ and MgO playa role of increasing dielectric constants at room temperature. These values were decreased at curie temperature. In case of $SiO_2$, the Curie temperature was decreased. In this study, a high dielectric ceramic capacitor material with temperature stability was synthesized by using various additives.

We present a software that provides 3D model modification functions based on the content-awareness for mobile devices. The integrity of the 3D model must be guaranteed at the time of slicing of the 3D model for 3D printing. In addition to this, with 3D printing, we generally have to print a hollow model in order to save cost, time, and to guarantee the integrity of the 3D printing. This paper proposes the easy UI functions for deformation, texture editing of a 3D model based on the content-awareness. Our proposed method generates various 3D model with easy UI on mobile devices and ensures the successful 3D printing.
위성탑재 영상레이다 디지털 수신기에서의 양자화 영향성 분석

위성탑재 영상레이다 시스템은 마이크로파를 방사하여 지상에서 되튕겨온 신호를 수신한다. 수신된 신호는 영상레이다 수신경로의 마지막에 위치한 디지털 수신기에서 디지털 신호로 변환된다. 변환된 디지털 신호는 필터링, 압축 및 포맷팅 과정을 거친다. 디지털 수신기의 신호처리 과정은 두 차례의 양자화로 수행된다. 첫 번째는 아날로그 신호를 디지털 신호로 변환하는 과정이고, 다른 하나는 BAQ를 이용한 압축과정이다. 양자화는 높은 비트에서 낮은 비트로 변환하는 과정으로 양자화 오차가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 SNR 저하의 관점에서 디지털 수신기에서 수행되는 양자화의 영향성을 분석하였다. The space-borne SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) system radiates the microwave signal and receives the backscattered signal. The received signal is converted to digital at the Digital Receiver, which is implemented at the end of the SAR sensor receiving chain. The converted signal is formated after signal processing such as filtering and data compression. Two quantization are conducted in the Digital Receiver. One quantization is an analog to digital conversion at ADC(Analog-Digital Converter). Another quantization is the BAQ(Block Adaptive Quantization) for data compression. The quantization process is a conversion from a continuous or higher bit precision to a discrete or lower bit precision. As a result, a quantization noise is inevitably occurred. In this paper, the impact of two quantization processes are analyzed in a view of SNR degradation.

본 논문은 3D 프린팅을 위한 3D 개인 피규어 생성 및 콘텐츠 인지 기반 피규어 변형, 조합 시스템을 제안한다. 3D 객체의 3D 프린팅을 위해서는 적층가공 기법의 슬라이싱시에 무결성이 보장되어야 하며, 프린터 종류에 따라 객체의 내부를 비우는 등의 제약 조건이 따른다. 본 논문은 3D로 복원된 자신의 얼굴을 적용한 개인 피규어를 자동 생성하는 기술과 생성된 3D 개인 피규어의 고유 기능을 유지하고 성공적인 3D 프린팅을 보장하는 콘텐츠 인지 기반 외형 변형, 두께 조정, 조합 기술을 소개한다. 기존 전문가들이나 숙련된 디자이너만 쓸 수 있었던 3D 저작도구에 비해 간단한 조작으로 다양한 외형 변형, 두께 조정, 모델 조합 등이 가능하다. We present a system for generating 3D personalized figures. This system provides 3D figures model modification and combination functions based on the content-awareness. The integrity of the 3D model must be guaranteed at the time of slicing of the 3D model for 3D printing. In addition to this, with 3D printing, we generally have to print a hollow model in order to save money, time, and the integrity of the print. This paper proposes the automatic algorithm that creates the 3D individual figures with depth sensor and the easy UI functions for deformation, thickness adjustment, and combination of the generated 3D figures model based on the content-awareness. Our proposed method maintains the unique features of the generated 3D figures and ensures the successful 3D printing.
