This study examined the procedures and legal issues for introduction and current Salary-structures and methods for system introductions centered around Seoul Metro which is railway related public company along with the background on introducing Salary-peak system and national/international situations according to the changes in paradigms. Base on these, the study deduced?presented plans for improving corporate competitiveness by the introduction of Salary-peak system such as target for applications and ages for Salary-peak and the rate of fall, plans for adjusting duties to present optimum plans according to the introduction of Seoul Metro Salary-peak System.

The Yongsan International Business District development work is a 20 billion$ project to raise facilities for national business, trade, residence, and culture. The project site is 566,800㎡ and it covers the railroad maintenance center and Dongbuichon-dong. Developing railroad station region used to be done by private investment. However, problems existed; simple function as a massive selling market, traffic jam caused by massive market users, inadequacy to transfer to other transportations, interruption of the pedestrian way and separation of zone of life by the station. To solve this problem it is important to consider developing cases of other countries and devise a plan that is applicable to our circumstances. In the study, we compared our station development case with foreign station development cases and analyze the element for the plan what we should consider in our station development. In addition, The results of the study can be used as a preliminary data in the future planning the Yongsan International Business District development.
대만고속철도 건설사업의 시공자 자체 품질관리시스템 운영에 대한 고찰

THSRC uses the self-certification system for its high-speed rail construction. The self-certification system takes advantages of obtaining good quality in project and communicating well between contractors and QA/QC organization. But one should understand ISO 9000s and the self-certification system of contractors in advance and contractors try to control quality of construction spontaneously. Actually, construction progress is slowed down because of increased QA/QC works. For adapting this system in domestic construction, it is need to understand ISO 9000s and the self-certification system.
