In this paper, a variable structure control of multivariable system with the disturbance is studied. To construct a sliding surface, the nominal system without the disturbance is used as a model system. And a direct method to decide the eigenstructure of the model system is proposed. By using a matrix SVD theory, the proposed method does not requirea computation of nominal system control gain.
Lyapunov 함수에 근거한 가변구조 제어기 구성에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 가변구조 제어기 설계의 첫 단계일 스위칭 평면 설정에 있어서 기존의 방법들이 슬라이딩 모드 해석에 의존하고 있는 것과는 달리 Lyapunov함수를 이용하는 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 평면 설정에 있어서 Lyapunov함수를 이용함으로써 구성된 제어기의 점근적 안정성을 보장할 수 있다.

In this paper, a robust control scheme of a nonlinear system with norm bounded uncertainty is studied. The proposed algorithm is based on variable structure systems (VSS) theory. the sliding mode which is robust to plant uncertainty and disturbances is obtained by regulating a sliding surface equation. This VSS control law can improve the robustness of control systems by adjusting the minimum reaching velocity in a reaching phase. A numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the control law.

Usually, the fuzzy controller is implemented by using uniformly spaced membership function. But, in this case, the performance of the controller is limited within a specific range of speed. In this paper, a new gain self-tuning method for PI controller of induction motor based on a fuzzy algorithm has been proposed. To improve the performance of induction motor in a wide range of speed, adjustable membership function width is introduced. The proposed method has been verified through simulation.
