        Chinju is famous for an old castle located in downtown. To conserve its historic landscape, some districts on the north of the castle have been under the height regulation. The historic landscape, however, is being seriously disturbed by the huge buildings newly constructed at the south of the castle. So, and alternative height regulation is required to make up its deficiency. This study examined the ‘View Floor Analysis(VFA)’as a height regulation planning tool, and suggested an alternative ‘Building Height Regulation Plan’with its results. The VFA is a new method to find out the maximum building height permissible from the differences between the existing topography and an imaginary floor which repersents building height theresholds, The process of the VFA used in this study was ① digitizing contours, ② converting digital contours to DEM, ③ manipulating control lines(super-imposing & text editing), ④ making visual floor(TIN) and converting it to raster data, and ⑤ map calculating(map algebra). The results were as follows: 1.At most, three stories(9m) buildings were permissilbe in the districts by the rear-gate of the castle, 2.But, very tall buildings over even twenty stories were allowable at Deulmal, Okbong, and the districts near the station. 3.The closer to the castle, the shorter building permissible. And, the closer to the mountains around the city, the taller building allowable.

        삽목에 의한 갯버들 근계의 토양전단강도 보강효과

        The purpose of this study was to verify the shore margin protection effect of a root system developed from direct sticking of Salix gracilistyla Miq., focusing on the reinforcement of soil shear strength. The materials were 20cm long sticks whose average diameter and weight were 7.52mm and 14.58g respectively, and sandy loam(Sand 60.36%, Silt 28%, Clay 11.64%), whose maximum dry weight(${\gamma}$$_{dmax}$) was 1.59gf/㎤ at the water ratio( $W_{opt}$) 13.8%. The direct shearing test(KS F 2343) was applied to cylindric columms(diameter 132mm) of pure soil and two years old root reinforced soil. At each condition of vertical stress, 10N/$ extrm{cm}^2$, 14.41N/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and 18.82 N/$\textrm{cm}^2$, five soil+root columns were sheared. After shear tests, the root area ratio and soil moisture on the shear plane were measured. The results of this research were as follows: 1. The average of root area ratio was 1.86% and the soil moisture 14.67%. 2. Two years old root system was found to increase the soil shear strength of pure soil in terms of Cohesion(C) and Inner friction Angle($\phi$) as follows. 3.         통풍과 차양이 하절기 옥외공간의 평균복사온도에 미치는 영향

        통풍과 차양이 하절기 옥외공간에서 인간이 느끼는 온열쾌적성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 객관적으로 검증하기 위하여 통풍과 차양을 달리한 실험구를 조성하고 흑구온도와 기온 및 풍속을 측정하여 평균복사온도를 환산하여 비교 분석하였다. 미기후 측정을 위하여 개방된 잔디밭에 철제 각관을 이용하여 가로${\times}$세로${\times}$높이가 각각 $3m{\times}3m{\times}1.5m$인 프레임을 구성하고, 투명 폴리에틸렌 필름과 농업용 차광막을 이용하여 통풍과 차양의 조건을 달리한 네 가지의 실험구를 조성하였다. 각 실험구 내 중심부 지면으로부터 1.2m 높이에서 베인형 풍속계와 흑구, 측온저항체(PT-100)를 이용하여 2011년 5월 1일부터 동년 9월 30일까지 풍속과 기온, 흑구온도를 매 분 단위로 계측하였다. 기상조건과 계측자료의 유효성 등을 고려하여 총 44일 동안의 13,262건의 자료를 바탕으로 실험구별 일중 시계열적 변화를 분석하였으며, 낮 시간에 해당되는 오전 7시부터 오후 8시까지의 7,172건의 자료를 바탕으로 실험구에 따른 통계적 차이를 해석하였다. 아울러 햇볕이 가장 강렬한 시간대인 오전 11시부터 오후 4시까지의 자료를 바탕으로 평균복사온도와 풍속 및 일사량과의 관계를 분석하였다. 평균복사온도를 기준으로 해석했을 때, 통풍이 차단된 노지에서의 측정기간 중 최고값이 $58.84^{\circ}C$까지 상승한 반면, 차양이 적용되고 통풍이 원할한 실험구의 최고값은 $42.94^{\circ}C$였다. 시험결과를 종합하면, 하절기 옥외공간에서 낮 동안의 평균복사온도에 있어서 차양에 의해서는 최대 $13^{\circ}C$, 평균 $9^{\circ}C$의 냉각효과가 발생한 반면, 방풍에 의해서는 반대로 평균 약 $3^{\circ}C$의 가열효과가 있는 것으로 정리되어, 통풍이 되지 않는 태양직사광 지역은 바람이 원활하게 통하는 그림자 지역 보다 최대 $16^{\circ}C$까지 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해서 하절기 옥외공간의 열쾌적성을 개선하는데 차양이 가장 중요하며, 그 다음이 통풍이라는 사실을 파악할 수 있었다. 따라서 옥외공간에 더 많은 녹음수와 숲을 조성하여 그림자 지역을 증가시킴으로써 인간의 하절기 옥외활동에 많은 제약을 주고 있는 불필요한 열에너지를 현격하게 저감시켜 쾌적한 미기후를 효과적으로 조성할 수 있으며, 나아가 정교하게 조성된 바람길이나 통풍 시스템을 적용한다면 도시 전체의 열환경도 효과적으로 개선할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the influence of shading and ventilation on Mean Radiant Temperature(MRT) of the outdoor space at a summer outdoor. The Wind Speed(WS), Air Temperature(AT) and Globe Temperature(GT) were recorded every minute from $1^{st}$ of May to the $30^{th}$ of September 2011 at a height of 1.2m above in four experimental plots with different shading and ventilating conditions, with a measuring system consisting of a vane type anemometer(Barini Design's BDTH), Resistance Temperature Detector(RTD, Pt-100), standard black globe(${\O}$ 150mm) and data acquisition systems(National Instrument's Labview and Compfile Techs' Moacon). To implement four different ventilating and shading conditions, three hexahedral steel frames, and one natural plot were established in the open grass field. Two of the steel frames had a dimension of $3m(W){\times}3m(L){\times}1.5m(H)$ and every vertical side covered with transparent polyethylene film to prevent lateral ventilation(Ventilation Blocking Plot: VP), and an additional shading curtain was applied on the top side of a frame(Shading and Ventilation Blocking Plot: SVP). The third was $1.5m(W){\times}1.5m(L){\times}1.5m(H)$, only the top side of which was covered by the shading curtain without the lateral film(Shading Plot: SP). The last plot was natural condition without any kind of shading and wind blocking material(Natural Open Plot: NP). Based on the 13,262 records of 44 sunny days, the time serial difference of AT and GT for 24 hour were analyzed and compared, and statistical analysis was done based on the 7,172 records of daytime period from 7 A.M. to 8 P.M., while the relation between the MRT and solar radiation and wind speed was analyzed based on the records of the hottest period from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M.. The major findings were as follows: 1. The peak AT was $40.8^{\circ}C$ at VP and $35.6^{\circ}C$ at SP showing the difference about $5^{\circ}C$, but the difference of average AT was very small within${\pm}1^{\circ}C$. 2. The difference of the peak GT was $12^{\circ}C$ showing $52.5^{\circ}C$ at VP and $40.6^{\circ}C$ at SP, while the gap of average GT between the two plots was $6^{\circ}C$. Comparing all four plots including NP and SVP, it can be said that the shading decrease $6^{\circ}C$ GT while the wind blocking increase $3^{\circ}C$ GT. 3. According to the calculated MRT, the shading has a cooling effect in reducing a maximum of $13^{\circ}C$ and average $9^{\circ}C$ MRT, while the wind blocking has heating effect of increasing average $3^{\circ}C$ MRT. In other words, the MRT of the shaded area with natural ventilation could be cooler than the wind blocking the sunny site to about $16^{\circ}C$ MRT maximum. 4. The regression and correlation tests showed that the shading is more important than the ventilation in reducing the MRT, while both of them do an important role in improving the outdoor thermal comfort. In summary, the results of this study showed that the shade is the first and the ventilation is the second important factor in terms of improving outdoor thermal comfort in summer daylight hours. Therefore, it can be apparently said that the more shade by the forest, shading trees etc., the more effective in conditioning the microclimate of an outdoor space reducing the useless or even harmful heat energy for human activities. Furthermore, the delicately designed wind corridor or outdoor ventilation system can improve even the thermal environment of urban area.

      • 주변 토지이용을 고려한 농촌마을 소하천 표준 단면 설계 : 농촌 주민의 하천 이용 형태를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study was to propose standard designs for the ecological improvement of rural streams. According to the survey about ecological conditions of rural streams of 10 rural villages (sept., 1996), the streams could be classified into three divisions(upstream, inner village, downstream), and the average width of streams was 9m, and the height of banks 3.1m. The slopes of basin were 7.33%, 2.67%, 1.39% at upstream, inner village, downstream respectively. The survey about the residents' usage of stream and the preferred activities(June, 1997) showed that the streams were most frequently used for the supply of agricultural water(39%) and for the washing(15%) and for the recreation and rippling(10%), etc.. First of all, three standard plans were designed presenting upstream, inner villages, and downstream, and then three standard sections were made based on each plan. Upstream was designed to be used for the recreational activities in summer and the major stream bank materials were base rock and existing boulders with the least artificiality. As the streams in the residential area were expected to be used and visible frequently, the most facilities for the streamside activity such as waterfront, water holes, shallows, water levels, walk, etc. were concentrated in this part with some artificiality. The downstream were designed for the agricultural use such as water supply, preparation of work and some break during the work.

        하절기 조경용 녹음수 수관 하부의 일사와 평균복사온도 비교

        조경용 녹음수가 하절기 옥외공간에서 인간이 느끼는 열쾌적성에 미치는 효과를 객관적으로 검증하기 위하여 수형이 서로 다른 미국참나무, 배롱나무, 참느릅나무 등 세 종의 수목를 선정하여 일사차단율과 평균복사온도 저감 효과를 비교분석하였다. 또한, 주기적으로 수관부 사진을 촬영하여 수관부의 변화특성도 비교 검토하였다. 일사량과 건구온도, 흑구온도를 현장에서 자동으로 계측 기록할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하여 각 수목의 수관 하부에 지면으로부터 1.1m 위치에 설치하고, 2013년 4월 1일부터 동년 11월 30일까지 매 분 단위로 기록될 수 있도록 설정하였다. 수관의 천공차폐율 분석결과, 비교적 일정한 상태를 유지한 것으로 나타난 2013년 6월 1일부터 동년 8월 30일까지의 자료 중, 우천과 이상 기상일 자료를 제외한 오전 10시에서 오후 2시까지의 자료를 통계 분석에 이용하였다. 10분 단위 평균값으로 환산된 총 6,640건의 흑구온도와 건구온도를 바탕으로 평균복사온도를 환산하였으며, 이를 각 시험구의 일사량과 비교 분석하였다. 분석 대상 기간 중 미국참나무와 배롱나무, 참느릅나무 수관부의 평균 천공차폐율은 각각 99%, 98%, 97%였으며, 각 수관하부에 도달한 평균 태양 복사량은 $106W/m^2$, $163W/m^2$, $202W/m^2$로 대조구의 $823W/m^2$와 비교했을 때, 최소 75%이상이 차단된 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 평균복사온도의 경우, 각각 $30.34^{\circ}C$, $33.34^{\circ}C$, $34.77^{\circ}C$로 계산되어 대조구의 $46.0^{\circ}C$와 비교했을 때, 적게는 $10^{\circ}C$에서 많게는 $16^{\circ}C$까지 수목의 수관부에 의해서 저감된 것으로 나타났다. 일사량과 평균복사온도의 관계를 회귀분석한 결과, 매우 밀접한 선형관계를 형성하고 있었으며, 설명력도 매우 높게 분석되었다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해서 하절기 옥외공간에서 녹음수의 수관은 일사량의 상당부분을 차단함으로써 인간이 체감하는 열쾌적성을 개선하는데 매우 중요한 역할을 하고 있다는 점을 객관적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 옥외공간에 더 많은 녹음수와 숲을 조성하여 그늘 지역을 증가시킴으로써 인간의 하절기 옥외활동에 부정적 영향을 주고 있는 불필요한 열에너지를 현격하게 저감시켜 쾌적한 열환경을 효과적으로 조성할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to compare the Solar Radiation(SR) and the Mean Radiant Temperature(MRT) under the shades of the three landscaping trees in clear summer daytimes. The trees were Lagerstroemia indica, Quercus palustris and Ulmus parvifolia. The solar radiation, the globe temperature and the air temperature were recorded every minute from the $1^{st}$ of April to the $30^{th}$ of September 2013 at a height of 1.1m above on the four monitoring stations, with four same measuring system consisting of a solar radiation sensor, two resistance temperature detectors(Pt-100), a black brass globe (${\phi}50mm$) and data acquisition systems. At the same time, the sky view photos were taken automatically hourly by three scouting cameras(lens angle: $60^{\circ}$) fixed at each monitoring station. Based on the 258 daily sky view photos and 6,640 records of middays(10 A.M.~2 P.M.) from the $1^{st}$ of June to the $30^{th}$ of August, the time serial differences of SR and MRT under the trees were analysed and compared with those of open sky, The major findings were as follows; 1. The average ratio of sky views screened by the canopies of Quercus palustris, Lagerstroemia indica and Ulmus parvifolia were 99%, 98% and 97%, and the SR were $106W/m^2$, $163W/m^2$ and $202W/m^2$ respectively, while the SR of open sky was $823W/m^2$. Which shows the canopies blocked at least 70% of natural SR. 2. The average MRT under the canopies of Quercus palustris, Lagerstroemia indica and Ulmus parvifolia were $30.34^{\circ}C$, $33.34^{\circ}C$ and $34.77^{\circ}C$ respectively, while that of open sky was $46.0^{\circ}C$. Therefore, it can be said that the tree canopies can reduce the MRT around $10{\sim}16^{\circ}C$. 3. The regression test showed significant linear relationship between the SR and MRT. In summary, the performances of the landscaping shade trees were very good at screening the SR and reducing the MRT at the outdoor of summer middays. Therefore, it can be apparently said that the more shade trees or forest at the outdoor, the more effective in conditioning the outdoor space reducing the MRT and the useless SR for human activities in summertime.

        농촌마을쉼터의 최소면적기준 설정에 관한 연구 -마을쉼터 조성현황과 주민의식(만족도) 조사를 중심으로-

        Recently, The rural-pocket parks in Korea have been constructed for the recreation activities of the rural residents. The purpose of this study is to suggest planning guidelines focused on the minimum size. The methods used in this study are surveying the satisfaction of rural residents, analyzing the size of Rural-Pocket Parks recently constructed, and comparing with pocket parks in Seoul. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows : 1) The average size of rural-pocket park in Kyung-Ki province is 650square meters per village and 2.19square meters per capita. and the relation between current rural-pocket park size and the number of household can be described as The current Size of Rural-Pocket Park = 7 ㎡${\times}$ Number of Households 2) The minimum size based on the rural residents'satisfaction is 633square meters at the 62 households level, and can be described as The Size of Rural-Pocket Park = 10㎡ ${\times}$ Number of Households 3) The most required activities by the rural residents are relaxation, children's playing and sports. and the most required facilities are ‘Jung-Ja’and ‘Combined Playing facility’. 4) The size required to include the basic recreational facilities at the level of household 20, 50, 100 are 132square meters. 386square meters, 633square meters respectively. The size per household is 7square meters and can be described as 5) As conclusion about 7square meters per household is recommended for the minimum size of rural-pocket park. and at least 140square meters is required as minimum size of rural-pocket park for the basic recreational facilities.
