Purpose: To report a case of delayed idiopathic macular hole closure after vitrectomy, internal limiting membrane peeling, and gas tamponade. Case summary: A 69-year-old female complained of visual disturbance in her left eye. At presentation, her visual acuity was 20/100 in the left eye. Fundus examination and optical coherence tomography revealed a full-thickness macular hole 489 μm in diameter as well as posterior vitreous detachment. Hence, vitrectomy, concurrent cataract surgery, internal limiting membrane peeling and gas tamponade were performed. One month postoperatively, the hole remained unclosed, although decreased in size to 378 μm. At 2 months, cystoid macular edema developed and postoperatively the hole diameter decreased gradually to 311 μm, 252 μm and 156 μm at 2, 3, and 5 months, respectively. Finally, the hole was closed upon the resolution of macular edema at 9 months. However, the visual acuity of 20/100 remained unchanged. Conclusions: Delayed closure of holes which may be related to cystoid macular edema, can develop after macular hole surgery. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2014;55(5):775-779

본 논문에서는 바나디움 주화물을 사용한 새로운 반도체 소자인 C.T.R을 제조하여 그외 전기적 특성을 조사하였다. 그 실험결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 제조될 C.T.R의 저항급변계수 는 3정도였고, (2) 의 값은 환원시간과 급냉시간에 크게 의존하였으며, (3) 의 큰 값을 갖는 C.T.R은 짧은 switching현상을 갖는다. In this paper, we fabricated a samiconductor C. T. R.(Critical Temperature Resisthor) using vanadium-oxides as material and measured its electrical characteustics. Experimental results are as follows; (1) The abrupt resistance change coefficient of the fabricated C. T, R., , is approximately 3 and (2) the value of depends largely on the reducing time and quenching time and also (3) the C. T, R. with larger value of has shorter switching time.

Purpose: To report a surgical treatment for a case of uveitic glaucoma during pregnancy. Case summary: A glaucoma female to be pregnant with 26 weeks visited for our clinic, who had used anti glaucoma medication. At the initial examination, intraocular pressures (IOP) of right and left eye were 38, 30 mmHg, respectively. We performed selective laser trabeculoplasty of both eyes with no complication, and then IOPs of right and left eyes were decreased to 26, 23 mmHg, respectively. 1 week later, she came to our emergency department due to acute visual impairment. Her IOP was 45 mmHg in right eye with uveitis. We regard that she had uveitic component related to the stress of fetal cardiac abnormality and recent her husband’s car-accident. Afterall she underwent trabeculectomy because of sustained high IOP. After surgery, IOP was decreased to 5 mmHg in right eye with elevated bleb but anterior chamber was shallow. We waited for 3 days because overfilteration would be resolved. After all, we did bleb revision with air injection in anterior chamber. After surgery, that IOP was persisted 10-16 mmHg with cystic bleb. Conclusions: This study showed the course of glaucoma during pregnancy was various, and emotional stress can lead uveitic glaucoma in contrast to the studies showed an association with pregnancy and lower IOP. Also, gentle manipulation is needed for pregnant women, because of thinner and softer sclera in high myopia and pregnancy itself.

차량항법 시스템에서는 디지털 맵을 대상으로 하기 때문에 많은 양의 메모리가 소요되며 계산시간도 많이 필요하게 된다. 또한 교통 상황은 실시간으로 변하기 때문에 이러한 정보를 차량항법 시스템에 반영한다면 좀더 실제적인 결과를 얻을수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 출발지와 목적지간의 방향정보를 이용하여 차량 운행중에 발생하는 실시간 교통정보를 반영하면서도 적은 계산시간과 메모리 사용으로도 효율적인 경로 탐색을 할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. The Car Navigation System(CNS) requires lots of memory and calculating time because it works on the large and complex digital map. And the traffic circumstances vary time by time, so the traffic informations should be processed if we want to get more realistic result. This paper proposes an effective path searching algorithm which uses less memories and calculating time by applying directional information between the starting place and destination place and by using realtime traffic informations.
