        Today, makeup is not a mere concept of beauty but an expression of one"s personality. Art Makeup is a field of art which requires makeup artists to develop creative designs and various new materials. Modern art makeup is the field of art that is closest to most people. Objee, the frame of modern art that has destroyed the boundary of art and daily life, has influenced the art of makeup to go beyond the limit of materials, enhance artistic value by using various new materials and expressions, add decorative and dramatic effects to makeup using new concepts of art, and promote the development of more creative and 3-dimensional designs. The purpose of this study was to understand objee was the tool of expression with infinite possibility to create and broaden the scope of makeup design by applying the configuration of objee to makeup design. This study examined textual records to understand the characteristics of objee in modern arts, the concept of objee in art makeup, and the influence of objee to modern makeup designs. Also, the materials of objee for art makeup were analyzed and an art makeup piece - eye lashes - was created using objee. The scope of this study was limited to art makeup and concentrated on art makeup for eye lashes using objee.

        저가 화장품의 브랜드 아이덴티티와 컬러 활용사례 분석

        As the marketing struggles to appeal the characters and images of brands gets fiercer, the role of the colors that form the differentiated characteristics of the brands compared to others is becoming more and more important. As a result, the use of the colors for such purpose is increasing in a more proactive manner. So, in this study, low-priced cosmetics brands of ETUIDE HOUSE, which uses pink & white, The FACE SHOP, using white & green, Holika Holika of purple and black, and SKIN FOOD, which uses orange & brown were analyzed for the usage of colors in terms of their logs, product packages, web-sites, and the shop-interior images. With this, an analysis was conducted to find out the brand identities matches the color usage or not. The result showed that, ETUIDE HOUSE used pink colors and other colors of pastel tones to express the brand concept of femininity, giving an impression of girlishness and loveliness. The FACE SHOP used green colors and white color that give the impression of pureness for overall imageries, based on a naturalistic concept. HOLIKA HOLIKA, themed on the secret recipe from a witch, used black and purple colors to maximize the concept of mystery. In case of SKIN FOOD, they used a variety of colors as their concept was centered on the foods, using the most profound colors of each food and creating a healthy and stable cosmetics brand concept. All in all, the four brands all appeared to have matching color identities and color usages. Since this study had a limitation as it only covered a limited number of products from each brand, as well as only limited perspectives on the imageries, which are not sufficient for a generalized conclusion. Further studies would be necessary to include more brands with a wider scope of samples to get higher objectivity and a more comprehensive analysis.

        This research has examined Jeon do-yeon' s characters and characteristic changes on her roles in each film by analyzing image making factors dividing sectors such as makeup, hair etc. screened from 1997 to 2011 referredto preceding paper, professional books, journals, books, news, internet, etc. As a result, Actress’ s make-up of beauty elements is determined by the occupation or personality of the character, whilst beauty elements in the movie provides a clue to predict the plot and even main actor/actress' s profession, psychological state, and characteristic of the age. As the fact of the limitation that by analyzing a person’ s work cannot be assigned to all the film, more substantive and analytical studies may be needed.

        젤 시술 제거방법에 따른 손톱 손상도 비교 실험

        Artificial nails should be removed from the natural ones after a certain period of time. It is during the removal process that the natural nails, which once had artificial ones attached to them, go through physical and chemical changes. Under the goal of investigating nail damage according to removal methods, this study compared two types of nails of the same company in the domestic nail market for changes to the nail shape and nail damage according to removal methods. The products were gel nails that could be removed through filing and the ones through a special solution or acetone. A group of women, who showed no special problems with their health, maintained a relatively good state of health, and were 25 or 28, was convenience sampled. Total six subjects were chosen who included three that were 25 and another three were 28. Both the age groups received no nail treatment for the last two months. The subjects were given a number from A to F. Before the experiment, their nails were measured in thickness. The middle finger thickness that was the closest to the mean was chosen as the experiment sample. Before treating the gel nails, the free edge of the nail was cut by 2 mm to measure its condition. Since there is no widely accepted method to measure nail damage, the investigator made the natural nails before attaching artificial ones the control group and did four treatments of artificial nails on the same nails every two weeks for eight weeks. The experiment group included the gathered sample nails. A multilateral experimental analysis was carried out in shape changes, strength, and thickness to understand the influences on the structural changes of the natural nails.

        미용사의 직무스트레스와 우울증 및 여가활동의 관련성

        There is a necessity for research on the job stress and depression of employees in the beauty industry, which is as important as that on customer management, in order to find out how to ease their job stress and boost job performance. Meanwhile, lots of studies have focused on their job stressors, working environments and health status, but there haven`t been plenty of research efforts about their job stress and depression. The purpose of this study was to examine the job stressors of workers in the beauty industry, factors causing their depression and the relationship of the two to leisure activities. Job requirements put the most strain on the workers, and many suffered from mild depression symptoms. In terms of the impact of leisure activities on total job stress scores and depression, socializing exerted a positive influence on the two, and the factors that affected job stress and depression were not the same. To cope with the job stress and depression of workers in the beauty industry, how to encourage them to enjoy a variety of leisure activities should be explored to alleviate their job stress and depression. Just hairdressers were examined in this study without comparing them with others who had different types of beauty-related occupations, and dynamic research efforts should be channeled in the future into the job stress of various workers in this industry, the cause of their depression, their depression symptoms, coping methods, types of leisure activities and satisfaction with leisure life. More extensive geographic regions should be investigated, and a comparative analysis should be conducted by comparing people with different sorts of occupations to produce better and more significant results.

        화장품 판매원의 서비스 품질평가 및 교육 프로그램 만족도 조사 -A 브랜드 종사자를 대상으로-

        For cosmetics brand in department market that service satisfaction works as an important actual factor, this study aimed to confirm what education was required by salespersons on site after evaluating service provided by salesperson, observe the relationships between sales, service quality evaluation and job satisfaction through the current result of education satisfaction and seek enhancement and improvement of the education program based on this. In order to understand the service quality evaluation, education program and job satisfaction of the cosmetics salesperson, this study classified groups based on the sales figures of the sales clerk at the 25 shops of Brand A in department stores, conducted a survey for 124 people in order to analyze service quality evaluation program, education satisfaction and job satisfaction. The result is below. It showed that the result of service quality and service level evaluation was generally high in the high sales group compared to the low sales group, and satisfaction with the makeup education was highest in the education satisfaction. As a factor that affects on the high sales group, service attitude has appeared an influential factor in the service quality evaluation with the increasing general education satisfaction. In the service level evaluation, awareness of customer's needs and product realization worked as important factors. With the increasing job satisfaction, brand training education and product education worked as influential factors in the education satisfaction.

        영화의 캐릭터 이미지에 따른 미용요소 관련성 연구 -김혜수 출연작품을 중심으로-

        There has been increasing recognition of the contribution which the beauty elements make to manipulating the images of characters as intended in films. Despite their importance, there has been lack of studies on the effects of the beauty elements on the images of film characters. This study was conducted to examine the plausibility of the application of image styling to various characters through the analysis of the survey on the effects of the beauty elements on the different types of the images of the characters represented in nine films by an actress, Hae-su Kim. The findings of this study showed the most significant effect of the color of lips on sex appeal, the costume design on refined and pure images, and the style of hair on uniqueness of characters. Through the findings, it ascertained that the beauty elements exert a meaningful influence on building characters in films, and the types of image and the beauty elements have a high correlation.
