Purpose: This study was done to identify prevalence of, and factors influencing metabolic syndrome among long-term care facility patients with schizophrenia. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted using a 20-item questionnaire. Clinical data for blood triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol, and fasting blood sugar were collected from medical records. Body weight, body fat, body mass index, blood pressure, height, and abdominal circumference were measured. Data for 198 participants were analyzed using t-test, x(2) test and logistic regression. Results: Prevalence of metabolic syndrome was 56.1%. The number of persons who overate was significantly higher in the metabolic syndrome group than in the normal group (p<.001). Factors influencing metabolic syndrome were hyperphagia (p<.001), abdominal circumference (p<.001), systolic blood pressure (p=.040), blood triglyceride (p<.001), fasting blood sugar (p=.015), and HDL-cholesterol (p<.001). Conclusion: The results indicate that nurses working with patients who have chronic schizophrenic should make an effort to help patients achieve control of overeating behavior and reduce abdominal circumference to prevent metabolic syndrome.

There is a growing body of literature on the treatment strategy of posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD). And metaanalyses and clinical guidelines continue to emerge. Recently, trauma-focused CBT or EMDR have been recommended for the 1st line of therapy for this population. However, very little literature exists for combined treatment of medication and psychotherapy in PTSD. This case report introduces two individuals with PTSD, who had initially failed to respond to antidepressant therapy, but later improved after EMDR was added. Further controlled studies are needed to generalize this finding.

태양열을 이용한 친환경 소형 무동력 난방기

Clean technology of energy is increasingly becoming valid business propositions. Across the globe, growing demand, tight hydrocarbon supplies, high oil prices and environmental consciousness are rapidly driving solar technology into the energy of transportation energy. In the present study, to meet these requirements, eco friendly heater with heat pipes was designed and manufactured. Eco friendly heater consists of solar evacuated tube collector which a heat pipe installed inside and oscillating heat pipe in the condenser section. The solar thermal energy was collected in heat pipe installed into the evacuated tube. And the collected solar energy transferred to the oscillating heat pipe of condenser section through the conducting cube. In this study, experimental and theoretical study were carried out. Theoretical calculation showed that about 6.7  could be transferred to the room.

한·미·일 초등 미술교과서의 디자인 표현 영역에 관한 연구

현대 디자인은 기능을 결정하여 제품의 모양과 색채에 영향을 주고, 포장, 의상, 장신구 등의 형식으로 생활에 직접적인 영향을 끼치고 있다. 이렇듯 일상과 밀접한 디자인은 삶 속의 미술교육과 맥을 같이하고, 미술교육의 맥락적 정당성 측면에서 국가경쟁력을 높이는 수단이 될 수 있다. 이에 본고는 초등학교의 디자인 영역의 내용 체계와 지도방법에 대한 탐구의 필요성을 느끼고, 그 방향을 잡기 위하여 우선 한·미·일 초등교과서에 디자인 영역을 주제표현, 표현방법, 표현재료와 용구, 조형요소와 원리 면으로 분류하여 내용 비교연구를 하였다. 그 결과를 통하여 디자인 영역내 학년간 위계성과 바람직한 방향을 탐색함으로써 일본, 미국과 다른 문화적 배경을 가지고 있는 한국에서 디자인 교육의 방향을 모색해 보았다. 주요어 : 미술교과서, 디자인 표현 영역. This study is an analysis of design curriculum in art textbooks used in the U.S.A. Japan and Korea. There are four criteria for analyzing, which are subject matters, methods of expression, materials & tools and elements & principles of design. For subject matters, Korea art textbooks should teach all themes of visual, industrial and environmental design as well as lettering, poster, book. illustration, photography, craft, architecture, landscape, playground and park design. For methods of expression, Korea art textbooks should teach both graphic and construction methods while teaching ideas and solving problems. For materials & tools, Korea art textbooks should deal with quality of paper, drawing materials, painting and variety of construction materials. For elements & principles of design, Korea art textbooks should teach the understanding and expression of line, shape, color, pattern, texture, space, proportion, balance, unity and variety. The Design area of Korea art textbooks should be updated to adapt the U.S.A and Japan's advantages, the advantages as hierarchy and sequential system. <창선감의록>에서 서술된 `창선`의 시대적 의미

<창선감의록>은 화진의 지극한 효 실천의 서사구조가 중심이 되고 있다. 화진은 유아기부터 정부인의 『효경』 교육을 통해 성장하며, 그의 삶의 명제는 시종일관 효의 실천에 있다. 집안을 이끌어가야 하는 장자이지만 어리석고 무능한 형인 화춘으로 인해 가정이 파괴되고 가문의 위기를 수반하는 사건이 설정되고, 어질고 후덕한 효성스러운 동생 화진을 통해 심씨 모자는 개과하여 인간의 바른 본성을 찾게 된다. 화진은 심씨와 화춘의 갖은 학대에도 효성과 우애를 끝까지 지키고자 했으며, 자신의 목숨을 바쳐서라도 백행의 근본인 효를 실행했다. 결국 심씨와 화춘은 감화되어 개과천선한다. 선한 본성을 찾게된 심씨와 화춘은 화진을 아끼고 사랑하게 되어 가정의 화목함을 이루게 된다. 그리고 지극한 효심을 간직하고 실천한 화진은 국가에도 큰 공을 세워 나라의 사직에 충성을 바친 우직한 신하로 진국공에 봉해져서 가문을 빛내는 영광스러움에도 기여한다. 이처럼 화진은 순수한 마음으로 효를 실천하여 나라에 큰 공을 세우고 부모를 영예롭게 하여 가문을 빛냄으로써 효의 시작과 끝을 이룬 진정한 의미의 효를 실천한 인물임을 알 수 있다. <창선감의록>에서는 인간의 본성은 원래 선하며, 부모에 대한 지극한 효도가 선행의 기본임을 주인공 화진의 효행 실천을 통해 강조하고자 하였다고 볼 수 있다. 욕심에 의해 본성이 가려져 자신의 본분을 망각하고, 가정과 가문을 몰락의 지경에까지 이르는 문제적 상황을 화춘을 통해 제시하고, 극심한 고난을 겪으면서도 인간의 본성을 끝까지 지킨 화진이라는 인물을 통해 스스로의 본성을 찾게 만들어 모든 문제적 상황과 갈등을 해소시킨다. 인간의 본성인 효의 실천으로 본성이 가려져 있던 심씨 모자의 본성을 회복할 수 있도록 하여 가정의 문제를 해소하고, 나아가 가문의 번영과 사회의 안녕까지도 이루게 됨을 보여주고 있다. 또한 이러한 효를 통한 선행의 실천으로 타인도 개과하여 선하게 만드는 것이 진정한 선을 실천하는 것임을 화진을 통해 제시하고자 한 것이다. 작품에서 효행은 타인의 본연지성을 회복하게 하여 선을 행할 수 있도록 하기 위한 방편인 것이다. 본인이 선을 실천하는 것에 머물지 않고 남이 선을 행하도록 도와주는 것이 진정한 선이고, 이러한 선을 드러내어 알리는 것이 <창선감의록>에서 작가가 의도한 `창선`의 의미임을 알 수 있다. 이것은 당시 조선이라는 혼란한 현실에서 작가는 스스로 행하는 선행과 더불어 타인도 선을 행할 수 있도록 도와주는 진정한 선을 통해서만 가정 내의 위계문제, 처첩 갈등, 형제간의 갈등, 정치적 대립 등 모든 불안정한 사회질서가 조화롭게 회복될 수 있음을 강조한 것이다. Although there are many characters in < Changseon-gam-ui-rok >, there are many different kinds of characters and conflicts, but the practice of practicing filial piety is the center of the story. Hwajin has grown up through his mother`s 『Hyogyeong』 education since his childhood, and his life is practicing filial piety throughout his life. Whether a foolish and incompetent brother is destroyed and a family crisis causes a crisis, this crisis is overcome by a good and good brother. Hwajin tried to protect his mother and brother from the relentless abuse of his mother and brother. He carried out filial piety to all his actions, finally, the mother and brother are impressed by the younger brother and become a good person and a good person. A mother and older brother who had a good nature cherish her brother and loved her, and her family became happy. And Hwajin, who practiced filial piety, made a big contribution to the nation and made the house prosper. He is known to have practiced filial piety and practiced filial piety toward his parents, and practiced his filial piety and practiced his filial piety. In < Changseon-gam-ui-rok >, human nature was originally good, and the ultimate filial piety towards the parents was to emphasize that it was the ultimate virtue of virtue. < 창선감의록 > 인물 형상화의 관습문화적 원리

이 연구는 화진의 일대기를 중심으로 구성되는 < 창선감의록 >을 대상으로 작품에 형상화된 인물됨과 성명의 수리로 구성한 역상성명학적 괘의 인물됨이 유기적인 연관성이 있음을 밝히고자 하였다. 작품에서 화진은 지극한 효심과 형제간의 깊은 우애를 지키고 실천하며, 지덕을 겸비하고 백성을 살피고 나라에 충성하는 어진 인물로 형상화되고 있다. 이것은 부모 자식 간의 사랑과 형제간의 우애, 착한 일을 즐기고 덕을 행하려는 마음이 모두 충효의 바른 도리를 근본으로 삼는데서 비롯된다는 내용은 작자가 화진의 성격을 형상화한 의도로 볼 수 있다. 화진(花珍)이라는 성명의 획수를 계산하여 구한 괘는 뇌택귀매괘(雷澤歸妹卦)이다. 이 괘는 있어야 할 자리에 있지 않기 때문에 실패할 수 있음을 알아서 그 원인을 제거해 나가는 일생을 살아야 흉하지 않으며, 따라서 모든 일에 효와 우애, 충이라는 바른 도리를 행해야 한다는 도덕적 가치와 실천적 행위의 기준을 함축하고 있다. 즉 바른 도리를 따르지 않고 욕심에 사로잡혀 행동하면 그 끝은 반드시 파탄에 이른다는 계시를 던져준다. < 창선감의록 >에서 화진의 일생은 지극한 효의 실천이 근간이 되고 있다. 부모에 대한 효성과 형제간의 우애를 변함없이 실천하고, 나라에 큰 공을 세워 가족간 갈등이 해소되어 화목한 가정을 이루고 가문의 영광을 찾게 된 것처럼, 괘의 永終知弊의 경계를 새겨서 천하의 모든 일에 바른 도리로써 행해야 한다는 도덕적 가치와 실천적 행위기준을 따랐음을 알 수 있다. 이것은 화진이 사람의 가장바른 도리라고 여긴 효성과 우애를 목숨 걸고 실천해 나갔기에, 가족과 가문, 사직이 오래도록 번창할 수 있는 이로움을 얻게 되었다고 판단할 수 있다. 따라서 작품에서 화진이 지극한 효심과 형제간의 깊은 우애를 실천하며, 지덕을 겸비하고 백성을 살피고 나라에 충성하는 어진 인물됨과, 모든 일을 행함에 바른 도리로써 해야만 흉하지 않고 이롭게 된다는 뇌택귀매괘의 본성에 대한 경계를 새겨서 행위의 기준을 실천한 역상성명학을 통해 본 화진이라는 인물됨은 유기적 연관성이 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 이 연구는 당대의 역상성명학이라는 문화관습을 수용한 작가의 사상이, 당시대중에게 높은 인기를 얻었던 < 창선감의록 > 작품 속의 인물을 형상화하는 원리로 작용하였음을 밝힌 점에서 의의가 있다. This study aims to identify the presence of organic relationship between thecharacter shaped in < Changseon-gam-ui-rok > that depicts Hwajin’s life history and the gwae (fortune) comprised of mathematical principle implied in name. The gwae obtained by calculating the number of strokes of the name‘Hwajin’is called Noetaekkwimaegwae. This gwae implies the moral values and practical action guidelines that performing filial duty, brotherly/sisterly love and allegiance in all matters is required to bring benefits. That is, it brings up a revelation that engaging in activities driven by greed instead of integrity will definitely result in disastrous failure. Hwajin’s lifetime stories depicted in < Changseon-gam-ui-rok > are deeply rooted in implementation of sincere filial duty. Consistent efforts to fulfill filial duties for parents, love and friendship among siblings and allegiance and great accomplishments for the country eventually lead to building a harmonious family and honor for the family. These lifetime stories indicate that Hwajin complied with moral values and practical action guidelines that integrity all actions should be performed in integrity with Yeongjongjipye of the gwae in mild. Therefore, it can be confirmed that there is an organic interrelationship between the gwae based on the mathematical principle implied in name and the Hwajin character and personality that put into practice the action guidelines provided by Noetaekkwimaegwae that fulfilling filial duties for parents, love and friendship among siblings, possessing knowledge and virtue, taking care of people and having allegiance toward the country while engaging in all activities in integrity would bring luck and prosperity from the perspective of Yeoksang Onomastics. This study is meaningful in that it has shed light on the cultural and customary aspects of the time based on the application of the principle of < Juyeok > that served as the principle of shaping the character of the person in < Changseon-gam-ui-rok >, which was hugely popular among ordinary people at the time.

사회통합을 위한 다문화 미술교육의 개념에 관한 기초 연구

세계화 시대 사회통합과 다양성의 문제는 우리 사회 안에서도 중요한 교육적 어젠다가 되었다. 그 가운데 사회통합과 다문화교육에 관한 정책과 선행 연구들은 점차 제도적, 정책적 차원의 논의에서 인문학적인 차원으로 확장되면서 서로 다른 인간들이 차이를 극복하고 공존할 수 있는 방안을 다각도로 모색하는 데까지 이르고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 사회 구성원의 자발적 사회통합의 기반을 마련하기 위한 미술교육의 가치와 개념을 명료화하는 데에 목적을 두었다. 먼저 사회통합과 관련된 학술적 동향과 정책적 방향을 고찰하여 한국의 다문화 상황에 적절한 사회통합의 개념과 성격을 탐색하였다. 또한 다문화교육 및 다문화 미술교육의 선행연구들의 방향을 고찰하고 그 안에서 새롭게 강조되고 주목하여야 할 다문화 미술교육의 핵심 내용을 논의하였다. 이를 토대로 사회통합을 위한 다문화 미술교육의 방향을 설정하고, 이를 교육하기 위한 구체적인 내용과 방법을 설정하는 데에 활용될 수 있는 개념적 틀을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서는 사회통합의 맥락에서 다문화 미술교육의 이론적 타당성을 확보하고 연계성 있는 교육 활동을 가능하게 하는 기반을 마련하는 것으로 연구의 범위를 제한하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 실제적인 다문화 미술교육 프로그램 개발을 안내하는 방향과 핵심 개념을 제공하는 기초 연구로서 의의를 가진다. In the era of globalization, the issues of social integration and diversity have come a primary educational agenda in our society. The focus of the researches and policies on social integration and multicultural education have expanded to the area of humanities in search for ways to co-exist beyond differences. In this respect, this research aims at clarifying the values and concepts of art education that would provide the foundation of social integration. The literature review discusses on the direction of the discourses and policies in order to explore the meaning of social integration in Korean context. In addition, the researches on multicultural education and multicultural art education are surveyed to shed light on the key concepts of art education that require further emphasis at this moment. Based on these theoretical discussion, this study proposes the direction of multicultural art education for social integration and the framework that would guide the specific contents and methods of multicultural art education. The significance of this study can be found in that it provides justification for the value of art education in globalized society.
