Syslog 데이터의 의미론적 검색을 위한 XML 기반의 모델링

Event logging plays increasingly an important role in system and network management, and syslog is a de-facto standard for logging system events. However, due to the semi-structured features of Common Log Format data most studies on log analysis focus on the frequent patterns. The extensible Markup Language can provide a nice representation scheme for structure and search of formatted data found in syslog messages. However, previous XML-formatted schemes and applications for system logging are not suitable for semantic approach such as ranking based search or similarity measurement for log data. In this paper, based on ranked keyword search techniques over XML document, we propose an XML tree structure through a new data modeling approach for syslog data. Finally, we show suitability of proposed structure for semantic retrieval. 이벤트 로깅은 시스템 및 네트워크 관리에 있어 그 역할이 증대되고 있으며, syslog는 해당 분야에 있어 사실상의 표준으로 사용되고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 로그 분석은 반구조적 특징을 보이는 로그 형식으로 인하여 빈번히 출현하는 패턴에만 집중하고 있다. XML은 syslog 데이터를 구조화하는 데 있어 유용한 방식을 제공하고 정보 탐색을 용이하게 해 준다. 하지만 이전의 XML 형식들 및 어플리케이션들은 로그 데이터를 위한 순위 기반 검색이나 유사도 측정 등과 같은 의미론적 접근에 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 XML 기반의 순위 키워드 검색 기법을 기초로, 새로운 로그 데이터 모델링을 통해 syslog 데이터를 위한 XML 트리 구조를 제안한다. 그리고 기존의 XML 구조보다 의미론적 검색에 적합함을 보인다.
고 흡수성 수지 첨가가 증류수의 과냉각 및 열적 특성에 미치는 영향

This paper investigated the thermal properties of phase change materials (PCMs) prepared by adding a super absorbent polymer (SAP) to distilled water. The thermal properties of PCMs were investigated using differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and T-history methods. It was found that 0.1 g SAP addition to distilled water resulted in the best PCM in terms of its thermal properties. The experimental results obtained from the DSC analysis showed that the addition of SAP to distilled water lowered the latent heat from 11.2 J/g to 17.2 J/g. However, the phase separation characteristics which are typically observed for water-based PCMs were found to be improved by adding the SAP. Similar behaviors were observed in results determined from the T-history method. Additionally, the T-history method clearly demonstrated that adding the SAP to distilled water improved the supercooling temperature, shortening the liquid retention time. Despite reductions in the latent heat of PCM with the SAP addition, it is expected that the operating cost of the cooling system can be further reduced due to its improved phase change characteristics such as phase separation and supercooling temperature when the PCM with the 0.1 g SAP added is applied.

Background : Recent ad vances and innovation in laser technology encourages us to learn and use it experimentally and clinically. The pulsed dye laser(Candela SPTL-1) is a flashlamp excited dye laser, using the princ ples of selective photothermolysis that targets the abnormal microvascu lature of cutaneous lesions while sparing adjacent structures including the epidermis. The laseemits a 585nm wavelength, and has a pulse duration of 450 usec. It is now being widely used in the treatment of vascular diseases in the dermatology field. Objective & Method : Buring the period of about 3 years from August 1994 to March 1992, at the out patient clinin of Department of Dermatology of Yonsei University. 252 patients who were treated with SPTL was analyzed to evaluate the clinical effects of the pulsed dye laser. Patient di@st.ributition f the cutaneous vascular lesions included 1fil pat.ients with nevui flammeus, 68 with telangcetasia, 15 with spider angima, 5 with strawberry hemangiona and 2 with cavernous hemangior ia. Results : The results and summarized as follows : 1. Nevus flammeus 4b.7% of early childhood, 41.5% of late childhood and 47.3% of adults showed excellent or good results. 2. Telangiectasia 78.1% of patients she wed excellent or good results. 3. Spider angioma 66.7% of patients she wed excellent or good results. 4. Strawberry hemangioma and cavernous hemangioma Most, of the patients,howed fair or poor results. 5. Complications included hyperpigmentation(26.5%), hypopigmentation(1.6%) and atrophic scar(4.5% ). Conclusion : Our experince with pulsed dye laser during the last 3 years revealed that it was superior in treating vascular disease than other existing lasers. (Kor J Dermatol 1995;33(5): 859-866)
상변화물질을 충전한 기능성 덕트 유닛이 장착된 냉장실 냉각 특성

This paper investigates the temperature characteristics of the refrigerator with functional duct unit filled in a PCM(Phase Change Materials). Although the EPS(Expended Polystyrene) Duct was used in the existing refrigerator, to improve the temperature distribution of the refrigerator, a functional duct unit with PCM was developed and performance tests were conducted. First, In order to analyse the characteristics of PCM, it tested 100ml of water and PCM in the pyrex tube to proceed with the experimental set-up. Second, the experimental equipment was tested using top mounted freezer type 200~300L volume general refrigerator with EPS duct and the same type refrigerator with functional duct unit filled in a PCM. The temperature standard deviations were lower when installing the functional duct unit when installing the EPS duct. Moreover, when installing the functional duct unit, it protects the temperature rise inside the refrigerator during black out.

This study intended to propose public designing of ecology and culture space along Mushimcheon(stream) of Cheongju city, and to that end, design development strategies were established according to a given stages of discussion on the present status of public designing, an activity that realizes the public value of designing, existing design concept, the relationship between private and public domains of public design, and the socio-cultural value of public design. Then status survey and literature survey of Mushimcheon were conducted for the research, development and proposal of environment public designing of Mushimcheon, and comparison and analysis were done by collecting various domestic and overseas materials and cases of design. Based on the analyzed materials, specific applicable design contents and range were selected, and through configuration of design concept, development of differentiated item, planning of specific design by the areas, and development design application plan etc, plan for improvement of ecology and culture space public designing of Mushimcheon was proposed. Therefore, this study will serve as a case that proposes an environment friendly paradigm for rebirth of Mushimcheon as water friendly natural space, amenable river environment and culture space, and it is highly desired that eventually Mushimcheon may play implemental role in organizing urban life environment of new concept by making Mushimcheon an attraction spot of the city and establishing the identity and city image of the city of Cheongju.
