The objective of this study was to investigate the bleaching efficiency of chitosan/nano-silver composite fiber (CSF) compared with cotton fiber (CMF). The bleaching efficiency was analyzed by the weight loss and reflectance. The variation of tenacity and viscosity in various concentration of hydrogen peroxide and alkalis (soda ash, caustic soda) were observed. The molecular weight and tenacity of bleached CSF decreased as the hydrogen peroxide and alkali concentration increased, however significant change of bleaching efficiency was not determined.

The objective of this study was to investigate the dye absorption properties of chitosan/nano-silver composite fiber (CSF) and their blended knit fabrics (CSK) compare with cotton fiber (CMF) and their knit fabrics (CMK). The dye absorption of CSF and CSK showed relatively high level compared to that of the CMF and CMK, but K/S value of CMK was higher than that of CSK. In the case of CSF and CSK, most of dyes were exhausted within 20 minutes after completing the dyeing process regardless of dye reactive groups and affinities, and there were no significant decreases in the washing and rubbing fastness compared with CMK.

Dyeing properties of disperse dyes of different energy types were investigated for application with poly(ethylene terephthalate) flat yarn (FY). The maximum exhaustions of low-energy type disperse yellow 54, blue 56, and red 60 were 96%, 94%, and 99%, respectively, and high-energy type disperse orange 30, blue 79, and red 167 were 97%, 98% and 98%, respectively. The exhaustion values of high-energy type disperse dyes on flat polyester yarns were higher than those on normal polyester yarn, while the low-energy type disperse dyes showed no significant differences in dyeability between flat and regular yarns. The build-up properties of various disperse dyes on flat polyester yarn were superior to that of regular polyester. The K/S values of flat polyester yarn linearly increased with the increase in dye concentration in the range of 0.5-8.0 wt.%. The half dyeing times of the flat yarns were approximately 5 min shorter than those of general polyester due to their larger surface area and lower crystallinity. The surface area of flat polyester yarn is larger, which directly results in lower crystallinity. Uneven dyeing properties were observed in the same fabric due to cold crystallization, which was also confirmed using DSC.

In this study, the dyeing properties of double knit fabric composed of PET/PTT bi-component fiber and quick dry fiber were examined with disperse dyes. In addition, the shrinkage characteristics were investigated during the dyeing process. The K/S values and shrinkage rate of PET/PTT bi-component fiber were higher than those of PET/co-PET bi-component fiber and quick dry fiber. In the dye bath, dye migration of exhausted on PET/PTT bi-component fiber to quick dry fiber was found at high dyeing temperature. It was not found that there was a significant difference in K/S value on dyeing temperature between 115℃ and 130℃. But the slight color difference of two sides of a double knit fabric was found.
인천 개항장의 『장소만들기』실태 분석 및 발전방향 연구

최근 구도심 활성화에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 인천시의 경우에도 구도심 쇠퇴 가속화 방지를 위한 구도심 활성화 사업이 추진되고 있지만 주거 및 상업 위주의 재개발로 공공 공간이나 장소의 정체성, 역사성에 대한 개념이 전무하고 체계적이지 못한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 인천시 도시재생 사업의 활성화를 위한 새로운 전략으로서 ‘장소만들기’라는 방안을 제안하고 발전 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 연구의 방법으로 1단계에서는 문헌 조사를 통하여 연구의 방향과 구도심 활성화를 위한 ‘장소만들기’에 대한 이론적인 개념 및 계획기법을 고찰한다. 2단계에서는‘ 장소만들기’ 관점에서 인천시 개항장 지구의 현황을 분석하고 설문조사를 통하여 문제점을 도출한다. 3단계에서는 인천시 개항장 지구의 ‘장소만들기’전략에 대한 문제점을 분석하여 발전방향을 제시한다. 분석 결과, 인천시 개항장 주변은 역사성 보전, 공공성 제고, 연결성 회복, 자연경관 고려 등의 물리적 측면은 잘 활용하고 있는 것으로 분석되었지만 비 물리적 측면인 정책적 지원, 주민참여 등에 대한 배려가 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. Recently, interests on rehabilitation of old downtown has grown. However, many old downtown regeneration projects could not find better solutions for preserving identity and history in their context because of the commercial projects focused on economic benefits and housing supply. This paper aims to explore the necessity of pursuing new urban regeneration of Incheon’s historical area and suggest new placemaking strategies for ongoing redevelopment practices. This paper examines new placemaking strategies toward sustainable urban regeneration by conducting theoretical document analysis. It also attempts to find key implication problems by analyzing present condition and doing a questionnaire survey. Finally, this paper pursue to suggets new placemaking strategies towards sustainable urban regeneration. The results indicate that many projects and plans achieved significant progress in terms of‘preserving historical and cultural place for people’,‘increasing the level of pedestrian movement connection’ and‘enriching the features of existing buildings’. However, there was no progress in the apects of‘pursuing long-term financial benefits’,‘designing for change’ and ‘encouraging citizen participation’. Thus this research argue that administrative supports and consistent interests should be followed for future sustainable urban regeneration.
