Color strength is reduced by hydrolysis, reduction or oxidation of disperse dyes during the polyester dyeing process. This discoloration is caused by dyeing conditions such as temperature, pH of the dye bath and the chemical reactions of the dispersing agents, etc. Chemical reduction of certain azo disperse dyes results in lower color yield. To prevent reduction of disperse dyes, sodium salts were added as weak oxidants to the dye bath for polyester fiber. Dyeing was carried out with four commercial azo or anthraquinone disperse dyes in the presence of sodium salts(NaCl, NaBr, NaI). The effects of sodium salts on color strength and fastness are discussed. In the case of azo disperse dyes, color yield increases as the concentration of sodium salts increases.

By direct calculation, we showed that a nite analytic solution for marginal deformation of open string eld theory, by a matter primary operator with singular OPE (operator product expansion), can be obtained to all orders in the deformation parameter. In particular, we obtained solutions that describe lower dimensional D-branes and our results agree with the results obtained when the same problem is treated in the world-sheet conformal eld theory language.

Properties of carminic acid, a colorant extracted from the dried female Coccid insect, and its aluminum complexes in aqueous solution were determined by spectrophotometric methods. Carboxyl and hydroxyl groups in carminic acid show acidic characteristics. The three apparent dissociation constants $(K_{a})$ of carminic acid were determined and the absorption spectra for the different dissociation species were demonstrated. Aluminum could form 1:1 and 2:1 complex with carminic acid in aqueous solution. Apparent formation constants $(K_{f})$ for the formation of each of the complexes were determined.

The objective of this study was to investigate the dye absorption properties of chitosan/nano-silver composite fiber (CSF) and their blended knit fabrics (CSK) compare with cotton fiber (CMF) and their knit fabrics (CMK). The dye absorption of CSF and CSK showed relatively high level compared to that of the CMF and CMK, but K/S value of CMK was higher than that of CSK. In the case of CSF and CSK, most of dyes were exhausted within 20 minutes after completing the dyeing process regardless of dye reactive groups and affinities, and there were no significant decreases in the washing and rubbing fastness compared with CMK.

The possibility of reusing wastewater in polyester dyeing processes was investigated. The wastewater in disperse dyeing was decolorized with activated charcoal and/or chemical reduction. The treated wastewater was reused for the polyester dyeing with disperse dyes. The characteristics(color strength, color difference, and fastness etc.) of fabric in the original bath was compared with that of the fabric in the reused dyebath. It is possible to reuse wastewater treated by chemical and/or physicochemical methods in polyester dyeing with disperse dyes.

The objective of this study was to investigate the bleaching efficiency of chitosan/nano-silver composite fiber (CSF) compared with cotton fiber (CMF). The bleaching efficiency was analyzed by the weight loss and reflectance. The variation of tenacity and viscosity in various concentration of hydrogen peroxide and alkalis (soda ash, caustic soda) were observed. The molecular weight and tenacity of bleached CSF decreased as the hydrogen peroxide and alkali concentration increased, however significant change of bleaching efficiency was not determined.

In this paper, we review the so-called three parameter sine-Liouville theory with more explicit explanation for winding number preserving and violating two-point correlation functions, where the special types of two-point function (m; 0), (0;m) and (m;m) are calculated. In addition, as a rst step to calculate a more general (m; n)-type two-point function, we nd the structure coecient of the three-point function including a general degenerate operator V (..~(m;n)) in the region 2 + 2 + 2 = 1.
염색이 용이한 메타 아라미드 편성물의 염색성에 관한 연구

Heat and flame protecting cloth is usually made of meta aramid fiber because of its own properties. But the high inter molecular hydrogen bonding and high Tg is the reason of the difficulty to dye meta aramid fiber. Recently, it was commercialized that the easily dyeable meta aramid fiber(AMD) for improving dyeability. In this study, the dyeing properties of AMD dyed with cationic dyes were investigated. The K/S values of AMD were 5~10% higher than these of general meta aramid fiber(AM) in the case of 1%owf caused by the lower crystallinity of AMD. The difference between K/S values of AMD and AM was increased as increasing dyeing concentration. The washing and rubbing fastness grade of AM and AMD were similar and good to very good.
