        요구성능 기반의 군용 항공기 항재밍 GPS 체계 구축 최적화 방안 연구

        Global Positioning System(hereafter; GPS) is recently an essential element in the various navigation and weapon delivery systems of military aircraft. However, GPS is vulnerable to the jamming threats since its signal power is very weak. Therefore, ROK defense has been concerning how to resolve this issue and how to integrate these systems needed, and is trying to acquire the proper anti-jamming GPS system. This study is to provide several schemes against the jamming threats effectively. We propose the several processes to analyze the required capability and demonstrate the result's of modeling and simulations(hereafter; M&S) for this integration of military aircraft, and the mathematical programming model for system optimization of military aircraft anti-jamming GPS system on the basis analysis of M&S results which could be considered available budget and the project characteristic. These schemes will be helpful on proper acquisition of these systems and. We are looking forward to contributing to the integration of anti-jamming GPS system of ROK military aircraft.

        전투비행대대 비행스케줄링에 관한 연구

        Fighter squadron flight scheduling is the integrated air operation plan that is an important role for improving pilot’s flight skill and maintaining combat readiness by efficient using available all air resources including pilot, aircrafts, air-weapons, fuel and supporting facilities etc. Korea airforce, however, has a limit as to an effective flight operation due to manual flight scheduling with scheduler’s own experience and intuition. Therefore, in our study, we propose the optimization model of flight scheduling based on mixed integer programming. This model includes several constraints of realistic and essential quantified data related with flight schedule and can assign appropriate pilots optimally which are distinctive three type’s solutions : flight, alert and duty crew schedules. Proposed solution method can be improved pilot’s capability and allocated further air resources systematically and efficiently. In addition, it can be reduced a workload of flight scheduler and minimized obstructed factors of flight safety. Finally, we demonstrate the experiment’s results for the check of efficiency and validity of this model.

        해상 소형표적 탐색 모형 및 작전운영 방안

        Currently, Korea Navy and Coast Guard are conducting search and patrol operations in Korean territorial seas based on their experiences and intuitions from now on. However, these operations have failed frequently due to the characteristics of small targets(like small ship or boat etc), and have caused many arguments and restrictions for search and detection operations. Usually, search operations of small targets have many constraints. The search operations work only if weapon systems such as radar and electro-optical/infra-red equipment reach close to small targets. In this study, we propose an effective search model based on MDP(Markov Decision Process) for limited search spaces and small targets. In addition, we consider realistic maritime environmental characteristics such as fishing nets, sea routes of moving large commercial ship, submerged rock, lighthouse and so on in this model. The various experimental results show that the detection probability of proposed model is significantly better than that of a random search model. We are looking forward to applying this scientific search model for the Korea Navy maritime operation planners.

        서비스 운영에서의 후회와 피드백 과정 시뮬레이션 -군부대 식수인원 산정에 대해-

        The purpose of this study is to examine the degree of regret of decision makers and how to feedback from surrounding’s stakeholders affects his/her reaction. We focused on the food ingredient’s ordering process in the military food service center to recompose the news vendor model situation. In the process of its ordering, its personnel have faced with several problems that include regrets to other alternatives unchosen. He/she determine and feedback the proper quantities with considering a senior commander (supervisor) opinion and his/her own insight and analysis results. We conducted a questionnaire survey for collecting several parameters including regret coefficient, feedback coefficient etc. and constructed a simulation model using their parameters and checking in parallel with the hypothesis that the regret of decision makers and the feedback of supervisor. In our experiment results we compared two models with the base using the average fixed heuristic. Through this study we show a positive effect on profit return for rational order decision by using Regret and Feedback model.

        In this research, in order to optimize the multi-objective function effectively, we suggested the optimization model to maximize the total destruction of ground targets and minimize the total damage of aircrafts and cost of air munitions by using goal programming. To satisfy the various variables and constraints of this mathematical model, the concept of air strike package is applied. As a consequence, effective attack can be possible by identifying the prior ground targets more quickly. This study can contribute to maximize the ROK air force’s combat power and preservation of high value air asset in the war.

        폐쇄공간에서의 에이전트 행동 예측을 위한 MDP 모델

        This paper presents the issue that is predicting the movement of an agent in an enclosed space by using the MDP (Markov Decision Process). Recent researches on the optimal path finding are confined to derive the shortest path with the use of deterministic algorithm such as A<SUP>*</SUP> or Dijkstra. On the other hand, this study focuses in predicting the path that the agent chooses to escape the limited space as time passes, with the stochastic method. The MDP reward structure from GIS (Geographic Information System) data contributed this model to a feasible model. This model has been approved to have the high predictability after applied to the route of previous armed red guerilla.
