The utilization of crowdsourced spatial data has been actively researched; however, issues stemming from the uncertainty of data quality have been raised. In particular, when low-quality data is mixed into drone imagery datasets, it can degrade the quality of spatial information output. In order to address these problems, the study presents a methodology for automatically validating the geometric quality of crowdsourced imagery. Key quality factors such as spatial resolution, resolution variation, matching point reprojection error, and bundle adjustment results are utilized. To classify imagery suitable for spatial information generation, training and validation datasets are constructed, and machine learning is conducted using a radial basis function (RBF)-based support vector machine (SVM) model. The trained SVM model achieved a classification accuracy of 99.1%. To evaluate the effectiveness of the quality validation model, imagery sets before and after applying the model to drone imagery not used in training and validation are compared by generating orthoimages. The results confirm that the application of the quality validation model reduces various distortions that can be included in orthoimages and enhances object identifiability. The proposed quality validation methodology is expected to increase the utility of crowdsourced data in spatial information generation by automatically selecting high-quality data from the multitude of crowdsourced data with varying qualities.
한국형 무인기 표준 프로토콜 개발을 위한 설계 검증 및 시험방안 연구

Purpose: All tests and certifications must be identified and considered according to the development stage to validate and apply the Korean UAV standard protocol under development. Methods: A guideline for validating and testing UAV protocol distributed by NATO was analyzed. The ISO9646 and research on the conformance test related to NATO Generic Vehicle Architecture (NGVA) were analyzed. The types of tests and certifications needed to justify and apply the new protocol have been identified based on the comparative analysis results. Results: Structural, functional, performance, robust, and reliability tests and certification must be conducted to obtain a proven protocol and verify the implementations conformance. Conclusion: Developers of a Korean UAV protocol should consider various tests, protocol conformance, and certifications to prove the correctness of the new protocol.
통신 프로토콜의 성능분석을 위한 확장된 Timed Petri Net 모델

본 논문에서는 timed Petri net에서 세약(constraint)과 확률의 트랜지션 조건을 추가한 확장된 timed Petri net를 제시하였다. 이 방법은 비동기 통신 프로토콜의 모델링과 성능분석, 특히 타임 아웃과 시스템에 의존적인 동작의 모델링을 쉽게 해준다. 이를 통신 프로토콜에 적용시켜 그 유용성을 보였다. In this paper, Extended Timed Petri Nets (ETPN) are presented that have the additional transition conditions of constraints and probabilities about timed Petri net. Such conditions make it easy to model and analyze performance of interacting asynchronous communication protocols, to model timeouts and system dependent behavior. We demonstrate the usefulness of this net by applying it to the analysis of the communication protocol.
