Since the liberty From Japanese dictatorship in 1945, I have reseached historical fisheries aspect at the KoKunSan Id and it adjacent area an the cofused era till Fisheries cooperations has been carried out in 1962. In case of Fishing industry, it similar to the Fishing Gear, fishing method in used Japanese domination erea. The Fishery industry was very small business. The main Fishing industry was stow netter 15 more or less, the longliner, one pole angling were accomplished in the coastal sea. The major species in the early of 1950 years, corvenia. hairtail flat fish. but compare to the 1953, corveniar hair tail was decreased 2.2 times, 2.6 times respectively. The white fish which was caught 7.7 times in 1957 at Geum river ertuary were disappeared in 1960. In relation with Fishing aqua culture, oyster, seaweed, short necked clam were. carried out experimental business but the oyster, short necked clam were successive but seaweed has been faired. In case of Fisheries manufactures, it had been produced dried (hairtail, corvenia, etc,) salted, (hairtail, pomfret, horse mackerel, corvenia, etc,) The base of Fisheries marketing were Gunsan, chang hang, BoRyong, KanKyung Fishery cooperating at the center of Gum river.

The purpose of this paper is to consolidate historical documents and witnesses about the school of secondary grade which have taken charge of fisheries education in Cho˘nbuk province. It is found out that Kunsan Fisheries School is the first one established in 1915 among the regular fisheries education insitute in Korea. It is suspected that the reason Cho˘nbuk province has no a school of secondary grade since Kunsan Fisheries High School was closed in 1968(all province which have coastal area have the secondary school of fisheries education) is because agriculture is more important industry than fisheries from the geographical point of view in Cho˘nbuk province.

The authors studied on the modification of the curriculum for the department of fishing technology in Fisheries junior college, by collecting and analyaing the references, questionaires and consultation according to the trends in industry and employment. Especially, rapid develop of the fishing technology with the modernization and automatization of fishing vessels, the present curriculum formulated in 1983 is required to be rearranged. Accordingly, the authors studied on the development of characteristic curriculum which could cultivate the professional fishing engineers. The results obtained can be summarized as follows: 1. Total open credits should be 160 credits. 2. Cultural subjects are set 32credits, 20% of total open credits, but the subjects may be Choosen by the situation of each fisheries junior college. 3. Major subjects are set 128 credits with 36 subjects including the 3rd year course. 4. The proportion of the compulsory to the elective credits in the major subjects are made 1 to 2. 5. Compulsory major subjects are set 29 credits with 11 subjects during the 1st and 2nd year course. Training on the board (I) and (II) are set 40 credits during 3rd year course and evaluated as pass or not. 6. The proportion of the credits of subjects concerning to fishery and navigation is made 1 to 1. 7. In order to strengthen the computation education, the E.D.P.S. is sets 3 credits in the cultural subjects.

A fishing implement, An-kyuug net is a Small Set Net. The fishery making use of this is popularlezed off the west coast in Korea. The relations between catch quantity and some oceanic conditions such as specific gravity, transparency etc. or tidal age have been investigated because they are mutually related in the sea. So the following results are carefully traced to secure closer relation with them. 1. Large quantities are caught at the specific gravity, comparatively low, 5.1-10.0. when it is below 5.0 getting an effect of land(fresh) water there is a poor catch, for the fishes Penaeus olienalis, Penaus joyuer, etc. run deep. 2. At lower transparency the total catch is better than at higher one. 3. There has been a arger catch at the spring tide than at the neap in the relation of tidal age.

We have investigate following subjects relating to training the ocean -going liscensed officer connecting with improvement of liscense systm. 1)In the merchant marine course, The employment has been increased on acc-ount of national support, cooperation industry connected, increase of domestic vessel, overseas of employment, however, In a fishery course are anticipated producing large number of ocean going licensed offilcer by reason of the depr-essing of deep sea fishery, chang in situation, increase of student capacity. 2)It is important to take clear aim to the student in the fisheries educational facilities and It will profitable the fisheries educational target are composed of practical skill 50%, personality 50%. 3)We must set up the scholorship system, to form connection with affiliated company and strengthen co-operation of enter-prise and educational organization in order to secure the superior ocean-going lescensed officer. 4)The restricted liscense (concerning to the fishing boat) shall be abolished for the sake of eliminate present conflict.
中部印度洋 참치延繩漁業의 漁獲率에 關하여 : 赤道附近을 中心으로

I have researched the data of operated Tuna long liner fisery during two voyage in the middle part of Indian Ocean. The results are as fallows. 1.Average catches per one operation at the vicinity of the equator was 1.9 ton. Average surface water temperature of November and December in good catches was 27.8℃. Average hooking rate was 1.8% 2.The fishing ground that the operation frequency are comparative settled was-sector. C. (0˚-5˚ N, S,60˚-80˚E) Tlle fishing ground of high hooking rate was sector E(0˚-10˚S, 40˚-60˚E), sector G(10˚-15˚S, 80˚-100˚E) 3.The captured rate of Killer whale was average 20.6%. The most losing rate showed more than 35%.
