      • 古群山群島 멸치囊長網漁業의 漁場環境과 漁獲量에 관하여

        I have researched the formation of the Fishing ground, environment and catches of anchovy's long bag net fishery in 1978-1980 at Go Gun San Ir. middle west coast of Republic of Korea. The results are as follows. 1.The fishing ground environment during the fishing period, so to speak, the water surface temperature is 8-26˚.5c salinity is 28.4-32.9%o transparency 0.5-11m. There is a few difference between costal region and outward region. 2.It shows a tendency decreasing on the catches of Anchovy's long bag net fishery year by year. The monthly catches during the fishing period is May in spring July-Oct. in summer and autumn otherwise, it requires a survey of reserve resources in any other season. 3.On the appearance of anchovy at GoGunSan Ir. The small anchovy is formed a fish school at near coast during spring and autumn. It is connected with the spawning school. 4.The region "C" which the salinity density is lower as better catches, after July. The region "B" is better catches than any other place. 5. The transparency of fishing ground is 11m below. It is better catches is low transparency than the transparency is high.

      • 眼鏡網漁業에 關한 硏究(Ⅱ) : 海況 및 潮令과 漁獲量에 對한 考察

        A fishing implement, An-kyuug net is a Small Set Net. The fishery making use of this is popularlezed off the west coast in Korea. The relations between catch quantity and some oceanic conditions such as specific gravity, transparency etc. or tidal age have been investigated because they are mutually related in the sea. So the following results are carefully traced to secure closer relation with them. 1. Large quantities are caught at the specific gravity, comparatively low, 5.1-10.0. when it is below 5.0 getting an effect of land(fresh) water there is a poor catch, for the fishes Penaeus olienalis, Penaus joyuer, etc. run deep. 2. At lower transparency the total catch is better than at higher one. 3. There has been a arger catch at the spring tide than at the neap in the relation of tidal age.

      • 鮟鱇網 漁具漁法의 改良에 關한 硏究 (Ⅳ) : 模型試驗

        The results of model net experiment for the improved stow net utilizing the otter sail were as follows 1.The resistance of fishing apparatus are same as formula (1) and Fig. I. It has difference amount of 2 ton according to the compostion of fishing apparatus. 2.The spreading of otter sail was nearly constant. The low buoyancy was superior to the high amount of buoyancy, otherwise, The model net without back rope of otter sail was decreased according to the water velocity. 3.The height of otter sail, wing, and mouth was dominated by the buoyancy. It has been appeared not straight decrease but av-α according to the water velocity. 4.When the bouyancy was deficient the width of spreading has been convenient, but the height has not affected. 5.Two branched rope were shortened at the some extent, but it had not effective for the further shorten. 6.It had not been effective without the back rope of otter sail but accident had been occured on the rapid flow. 7.Although the wings were spreaded length wide, the width of spreading especially, the model of ∑ were not effective.

      • 中部印度洋 참치延繩漁業의 漁獲率에 關하여 : 赤道附近을 中心으로

        I have researched the data of operated Tuna long liner fisery during two voyage in the middle part of Indian Ocean. The results are as fallows. 1.Average catches per one operation at the vicinity of the equator was 1.9 ton. Average surface water temperature of November and December in good catches was 27.8℃. Average hooking rate was 1.8% 2.The fishing ground that the operation frequency are comparative settled was-sector. C. (0˚-5˚ N, S,60˚-80˚E) Tlle fishing ground of high hooking rate was sector E(0˚-10˚S, 40˚-60˚E), sector G(10˚-15˚S, 80˚-100˚E) 3.The captured rate of Killer whale was average 20.6%. The most losing rate showed more than 35%.

      • 西海岸의 水産業에 관한 史的考察(Ⅱ) : 日帝 植民地時代에 있어서 古群山 群島와 그 隣近地域을 中心으로

        During the Colouial period, all parts of fisheries were remarkably developed. Modernized fishing gear and its method was prevailed by Japanese and some of Korean fishermen, increasing in number every year. Also Korean convertional fishing gear and its method was improved and increased. So fishing catches was heavily raised every year. In aguaculture, layer, oyster, and so forth were cultivated, and the catches of later occupied the best part of rearing creatures. Fisheries processing methods were developed too, making boiled and seasoned products. The marketing structures of marine products in the late Chosun dynasty also existed in that period. And fishery cooperatives were set up in many areas to take charge of a great role in fishs distribution and fisheries financing.

      • 古群山群島의 멸치 囊長網漁業의 現況과 問題点

        I have investigated the bag net fishery around the Go Gunsan Islands the results are as follows. 1.At first the bag net fishery is put operation by Mr Kim young chai who fives in YOSU districts. As the residents of Go-Gun San Islands recognize the rate of benefit. The bagnet fishery has been increased from 1970, As compare with the past year, it had been increase 79%. Now the bag net fishery composed of 457 set around the Go Gun San Islands. 2.Consigned sale catches concentrating to the fisheries cooperation association 77 years was 2.314M/T corresponding to cashes of 540 million won. The highlight of this fishery by month was august 776M/T. 3.Total area of fishing ground of fishing condition are 1. 281/ha among these area which is liscensed are 147 ha(11. 5%) on procedure, 335ha (26· 2%) the area which is developed 779 ha (62.4%). 4.This bag net fishery will be brought many diffculties concerning to the conflict of fishing communities, decreasing of fishing resources, violation of harbour rule, insufficency of processing diposal. 5.Provided the bag net fishery was protected by the common mutual industry, it will be contributed to the benifit of Islands residents.

      • 海技士 養成에 關한 問題点과 改善方案에 關한 硏究

        We have investigate following subjects relating to training the ocean -going liscensed officer connecting with improvement of liscense systm. 1)In the merchant marine course, The employment has been increased on acc-ount of national support, cooperation industry connected, increase of domestic vessel, overseas of employment, however, In a fishery course are anticipated producing large number of ocean going licensed offilcer by reason of the depr-essing of deep sea fishery, chang in situation, increase of student capacity. 2)It is important to take clear aim to the student in the fisheries educational facilities and It will profitable the fisheries educational target are composed of practical skill 50%, personality 50%. 3)We must set up the scholorship system, to form connection with affiliated company and strengthen co-operation of enter-prise and educational organization in order to secure the superior ocean-going lescensed officer. 4)The restricted liscense (concerning to the fishing boat) shall be abolished for the sake of eliminate present conflict.

        I hale researched Bayonet fishing which is operated 413th at the Shinshido, Kwanrido ar ound Gogunsan Is. From Apr. 20th to Nov. 15, 1978. The results are as follows 1.The variation of monthly catches are most abundant on May in quantity of captured Engraulis japonicus(T. et SCHLEGEL) and Enedrias nebulosue(T.et SCHLEGEL) in spring season, in August captured main species a great quantity of Engraulis japonicus are captured during summer months. In Oct. captured main species, a great quantity of Harengula zunasi(BLEEKER) and Enraulis japoicus are captured during autumn months. 2.The cathes during day night are more abundant at night in spring, however shows good catches on day time in Autumn. 3.The catches on the time of spring tide shows better catches which makes 3.6 times more than that of neap tide. 4.The low atmospheric pressure less than 1,000mb showed good catches, and the influential weather condition for the good catches as classified into rainy, cloudy and clear day according to its superioty. 5.Northrly wind indicate better catches than the south wind.

      • 西海岸의 水産業에 관한 史的考察(Ⅰ) : 韓末에 있어서 古群山群島의 隣近地域을 中心으로

        During the late Chosun Danasty in the Vicinities of Ko Kun San, fishery management and technique were very primitive, mostly using the fixed shore nets. While, fishermen of strong countries such as China Japan came and fleshed in Korea's fishing ground, using the developed fishing equipment and its method and reducing the population of fish. And fishermen in Korea had to pay many fishing tax for want of national finance and borrow the fishing funds from the factors and Chul Mae Sun for want of capital. Fishermen couldn't get out of their oppression. So fishery couldn't break from the poverty, continuing the vicious cycle. These causes are though to arrest the development of fishery. Fisheries processing was also primitive, using the low level methods such as salting, icing and drying. And aquaculture was never done. Main structures in the fish distribution were factors, Chul Mae Sun and fish market. Factors' functions were lending the fishing funds as loan sharks, collecting, distributing, storing and transporting of fish and lodging for the fishermen. Chul Mae Sun's function was to loan fishing funds in advance to poor fishermen to take fish which they caught. Fish market which could be called modernized structure was set up in Kunsan to perform the fish distribution to the whole country.
