In this study, the characteristics of signals such as acoustic emission, vibration amplitude and noise level which are derived from the abnormal condition of compressor are investigated. The normal condition, vane stick sound and roller defect condition are chosen to analyze the signal in each cases. From the feature extraction of each signals, the dominant parameters of each signals which can identify the abnormal condition are suggested.
교실에서의 천장형 냉난방기의 취출온도 및 취출각도에 따른 열환경 시뮬레이션

Research has been carried out to study thermal environment in a classroom under three kinds of air diffusion temperature and six kinds of air diffusion direction for ceiling type air conditioner. The velocity and temperature distributions of air in the room calculated by 3-dimensional numerical method(PHOENICS), This present study was also conducted to calculate the Air Diffusion Performance Index(ADPI) for cooling conditions and Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied(PPD) for heating conditions. This analysis shows that the optimum angle of ceiling type air conditioner's diffusion is $15{\sim}30^{\circ}$ for cooling mode and about $15{\sim}45^{\circ}$ for heating mode in these calculating conditions. And also analysis has been carried out to evaluate thermal comfort of vertical and horizontal cross section of classroom.

This paper describes to evaluate the performance of ventilation for investigating the removal of indoor pollutants as a function of ventilation rate and the number of occupants in the school classroom. Variations of the gas concentration as a function of time are measured at center point of classroom and air exchange rates with the CO₂ gas monitor. For the ventilator of 800 CMH in the classroom with the existence of 35 students, the average CO₂ concentration is 913 ppm. A ventilator of 800 CMH is sufficient to meet acceptable indoor air quality in the classroom of 35 students, a maximum number of students based on the Korea school standard below 1,000 ppm of CO₂.

The compressor has one of important roles in refrigeration cycle and it determines refrigeration efficiency and quality. This paper aims to monitor rotary compressors for room air conditioners by using Acoustic Emission(AE) technique. The reliability of rotary compressors has been evaluated through visual inspection on them after long term test. This paper describes methods for acquisition and processing AE raw signal to monitor the state of rotary compressor. A detecting method of abnormal compressor in real time is suggested and special-purpose monitoring system which can be applied to automatic manufacturing line is developed using one-chip microprocessor at low cost.
