The delay spreading characteristics of the indoor propagation environments were studied over line-of-sight and non line-of-sight. Time delay spreading measurements were perfomed at the center frequency of 1.95㎓ with a sliding correlation measurement system using a chip rate of 100㎒. The results were compared with simulations using 3-D ray tracing technique. The measurements show that in line of sight mean exccess delay is 10~25ns and rms delay spread is 10~11ns. In non line of sight mean exccess delay is 80~140ns and rms delay spread is 50~80ns. The measurements results show a high degree of similarity in the prediction using 3-D ray tracing technique.
