        노인의 관점에서 본 근린환경 디자인의 접촉만남 지원정도 - 대도시와 중소도시를 중심으로 -

        As our society is becoming to aging society, the consideration of old residents in our neighborhood environments is also important. This study was intended to evaluate the neighborhood environments in aspects of supportiveness of contact and meeting of their residents. The subject were 310 old residents who lives in the metropolitan city and the small and medium-sized city. They answered 60 elements of neighborhood environments which support contact and meeting of residents including old ones. As the results were as follows : The supportiveness of contact and meeting of residents in neighborhood environments was not high. The supportiveness of contact and meeting in the cultural and educational area and parking and green area in the metropolitan city were higher than the small and medium-sized city. However, in case of health and medical area, pathway, and public traffic, the small and medium-sized city were higher than the metropolitan city. 우리 사회가 고령사회가 되어감에 따라 근린환경을 계획하고 디자인할 때에도 노인에 대한 배려의 필요성이 커지고 있다. 본 연구는 노인의 관점에서 대도시와 중소도시의 근린환경 디자인이 노인에 대한 배려, 즉 노인의 접촉만남을 어느 정도 지원하도록 되어 있는지를 파악하고자 하였다. 조사대상은 대도시와 중소도시에 거주하고 있는 65세 이상 노인 310명이었다. 자료 수집은 이들 노인을 대상으로 설문지를 이용한 일대일 면접조사방법으로 진행하였다. 조사내용은 선행연구에서 제시한 ‘노인의 접촉만남을 지원해 주는 근린환경 디자인 지표’ 60개 항목 각각에 대한 충족정도였다. 조사결과 근린환경영역의 접촉만남 지원성은 대도시와 중소도시 간에 다소 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 대도시는 문화교육공간영역 중 교육시설과 노인관련시설의 근접성과 접촉만남 지원성, 공원녹지공간의 안전성과 볼거리 제공정도가 중소도시보다 유의미하게 높았다. 반면 중소도시는 건강의료공간영역 중 실내외 운동시설의 근접성과 노인 이용편리성 및 접촉만남 지원성이, 도로영역 중 보행로의 노인 이용편리성과 접촉만남 지원성이, 대중교통시설영역 중 버스정류장과 자전거 보관소의 접촉만남 지원성이 대도시보다 높았다.

        중년층의 배경변인에 따른 노인주거특성에 대한 선호

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the middle-aged housewive's background characteristics influencing on the preference of elderly housing, depending on four aging-situations. The characteristics of the elderly housing dealt in thes study were geographical location. specially planned feature for the elderly, house type, the size of housing, housemate, the distance from the living quarter of their children, and whether they want to live in the rental house. The subject were 526 middle-aged housewives from middle-income householde living in the capital area. Questionnaires were sent through mail to the householde which tesponded positively on the information brochure about this study sent before. The characteristics of the elderly housing which perferred to was influenced by their age and socio-economic status, such as schooling, job, income, and the size of housing. This result suggests that it must be considered to develop various types of the elderly housing depending on socio-economic status.

        주택정보요구에 관한 연구 - 부산.울산지역 아파트 거주 주부를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study are to examine the types and sources of information used for housing choices and to figure out the related factors. Data are collected through self-administered questionnaires designed for this study, and the sample consists of 396 households in Pusan and Ulsan. The purposes are accomplished through descriptive statistics and multiple regression analyses. Based on the results of analysis, housing information are divided into four specific types : economic. technical, housing unit, and neighborhood information. It is found that housing unit information including housing quality and economic information such as housing prices are identified as the most important ones for current and future housing choices. The most useful sources of housing information utilized for current housing are friends, relatives and neighbors. In addition, model house, real estate office, newspaper and adverizement are the another useful sources for housing information. Among them, the model house is the most helpful one for variety of housing information. Young households and those with a head whose occupation is professional/managerial tend to have higher recognition of the importance of housing information than do the other groups. The households currently living in small apartment and with a young eldest child are likely to have higher recognition of the importance of econimic information. Tenure type, the occupation of the household head, the age of the eldest child, and length of residence are the significant explanatory variables of the recognition of the importance of housing unit information.

        아파트 거주자의 근린생활시설 이용실태와 요구 - 여가시설을 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study was to examine the demand for leisure facilities of apartment residents in Kimgae. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaires designed for this study, and the sample consisted of 399 households. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and ANOVA analysis. Leisure facilities were divided into four specific types : sports facilities, hobby and cultured facilities, appreciation and exhibition facilities, and sociable facilities. It was found that the demands for four types of leisure facilities were high and the demands for park, swimming pool, culture center, library, cultural hall, and wamen’s hall were especially high. Family life cycle and housing size were important determinants of demands for leisure facilities.

        지체장애인의 관점에서 본 소규모 아파트 공간에서의 유니버설 디자인 특성

        The purpose of this study was to identify the universal design characteristics in residential environments. The subjects were 135 physically disabled persons who lived in the rental multi-family housing apartments in Pusan. Interview method was used for this study. They were an average age of 51 years and 63% were male. They were low income families and lived in 12 pyung ($39.75\textrm{m}^2$) apartments. They were asked about what housing characteristics were constraints in their daily living. They pointed out that the constraints in their apartments were as follows: 1) the small amount of space in the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and the entrance area of housing unit, 2) the unflat floor level between the bathroom and the hallway, or the balcony and the bedroom, 3) the slippery floor finish in the bathroom, 4) lack of grab bars or handrails in the bathroom and the ramp, 5) the kitchen work centers and the electric switches at improper height, and 6) the steep ramp. Therefore, the universal design characteristics in residential environments were the adequate amount of space, flat floor level, non-slippery floor finish, grab bars or handrails, accessible height, and ramp.

        디지털 홈 디자인을 위한 디지털 라이프스타일 연구

        The purpose of this study was to examine the digital life style of the families. It would be the useful data to design the digital home. The digital life style consisted of 10 aspects : family oriented life, simple meal preparing, digital consuming and economic life, information search and communication using internet, home working, home education, recreation and cultural life, exercising and healthy life, pro-environmental life, and innovative life. The subjects were 395 housewives who lived in apartments of various sizes in Busan. The data were collected using by the questionnaire which consisted of 40 items to describe the digital life style and 8 items to examine the characteristics of the subjects. The results were as followings; 1) Among 10 aspects of the digital life style, the pro-environmental life, family-oriented life, and exercising and healthy life were most important aspects in their lives. 2) The age of housewife was the most influential variable which affected on the digital life style. That is, many aspects of the digital life style were significantly different according to the age of housewife. This means that the digital home would have the potentiality to the young generation.

        반의존 노인을 위한 시설주거의 계획방향 -미국 반의존형 노인시설주거의 노인거주자와 근무자의 거주후 평가결과를 기초로-

        The purpose of this study was to carry out POE of assisted living housing and suggest the design guidelines for the housing complex for the elderly. The subjects were residents(old persons) and staff who lived or worked in three assisted living housing in Cincinnati, Ohio. Interview and survey method using questionnaire were used. The design guidelines for the housing for the elderly were suggested as follows: 1) the location of the housing for the elderly should be in or near the existing housing area, 2) the arrangement of spaces of the housing for the elderly should consist of small groupings rather than large and long corridor pattern, 3) the number of the housing units for the elderly should be small, under 100 units, 4) the housing units should be used by one older persons so that she/he could have the chance of privacy and personalization, 5) various common spaces such as art and craft room or game room should be provided, 6) accessibility should be considered, 7) the color and patterns of interior finishes should be differentiated according to floors or spaces and familiar ones should be used to make a homelike environment.
