        일부 남자 근로자들의 혈청 요산과 심혈관질환 위험요인과의 관련성

        Objectives : To investigate the relationship of serum uric acid to cardiovascular risk factors in Korean male workers. Methods : We screened 522 male workers at an electrical manufacturing company by a periodic health examination and a questionnaire survey in 2000. We collected data relating to age, smoking status, alcohol drinking status, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, serum lipid, fasting blood glucose and serum uric acid. The data were analyzed using a variety of methods, including ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multivariate regression analyses. to examine the association between uric acid and cardiovascular risk factors with a cross-sectional study design. Results : The concentration of serum uric acid showed positive associations with BMI, total cholesterol, triglyceride, and LDL-cholesterol; it was also significantly correlated to systolic and diastolic blood pressures. Life-style characteristics, such as smoking and alcohol drinking showed no significant association. From the multivariate regression analyses, BMI, total cholesterol and fasting blood glucose levels were found to be independent positive predictors of uric acid; while age, blood pressure and smoking status give no independent contribution explaining the variability of serum uric acid levels. Conclusions : This study demonstrates that serum uric acid level have a significant association with cardiovascular risk factors, such as BMI, total cholesterol and blood glucose in some Korean male workers.

        전통적인 짜맞춤을 이용한 가구제작용 하이브리드 앱 개발

        본 논문에서는 전통적인 짜맞춤 기법을 숙련된 기술 없이 앱 상에서 부재의 사이즈와 장부의 개수만 결정하면 전통 가구를 제작할 수 있도록 하였다. 그동안 전문 기술자들에 의해 수작업으로 이루어지던 가구의 설계도면을 CAD를 사용하여 생성함으로써 효율적이며, 융통성 있는 가구의 제작이 가능하게 하였다. 또한 CNC 설계 도면과 3D 모델링된 56종의 STL파일들은 앱을 통해 서비스되며 수시로 업데이트가 가능하도록 하기 위해 하이브리드앱을 사용하였다.         에틸렌-프로필렌-디엔-모노머/불소고무 블렌드의 상 모폴로지와 기계적 물성

        에틸렌-프로필렌-디엔-모노머(EPDM) 고무와 불소고무(FKM)를 다양한 조성으로 블렌드를 제조하여 조성에 따른 상 모폴로지와 가교특성, 경도특성, 인장특성 그리고 동적 점탄성 특성을 조사하였다. FKM 함량이 증가할수록 가교속도는 증가한 반면 가교밀도는 감소하였으며, 전반적으로 경도, 인장강도, 파단신장률 및 저장 모듈러스(E") 는 증가하였다. 모든 블렌드 컴파운드에서 EPDM과 FKM 고유의 유리전이온도(Tg)를 나타내고 있어, 전형적인 비혼화성 블렌드 거동을 보였다. 전자현미경(SEM)과 원소분석장치(EDS)를 이용하여 상 거동을 관찰한 결과 EPDM/FKM 블렌드는 비혼화성 블렌드의 대표적인 상거동인 연속상-분산상 모폴로지를 나타내었다. FKM 조성이 50 phr이하에서는 EPDM이 연속상을 나타내었고, FKM이 80 phr 근방에서 공동 연속상 구조를 그리고 FKM이 90 phr에서는 FKM이 연속상을 나타내는 상전이가 나타났다. Rubber blends based on ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer (EPDM) rubber and fluoroelastomer (FKM) having various blend ratios were prepared. The phase morphology, cure characteristics, hardness, tensile and dynamic viscoelastic properties of the blends were investigated. The cure rate of the blends increased, while the crosslink-density decreased as the FKM content increased. The hardness, tensile strength and elongation at break, and storage modulus (E") increased with increasing FKM loading. A typical incompatible blend behavior was found by observing two distinct tanδ peaks corresponding to EPDM and FKM. Based on the morphology investigation by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS) analyses, a typical ‘sea-island’ phase morphology was observed for the EPDM/FKM blends. As the FKM loading was increased to 50 phr, the EPDM was found to remain as the continuous phase. At the 80 phr of FKM, a co-continuous phase was observed and the phase inversion was observed at 90 phr of FKM.

        층상점토 충전 브롬화 이소부틸-이소프렌 검 나노복합체의 점착거동

        브롬화 이소부틸 이소프렌 (BIIR) 고무의 점착성에 미치는 나노점토(Cloisite 20A)의 영향을 조사하였다. 고무내 나노점토의 분산성은 SEM, TEM, XRD으로 분석하였다. 나노점토 충전 및 미충전 고무의 열적안정성은 TGA로 분석하였으며, 충전고무에서 열적안정성을 보였다. 또한 나노점토를 첨가하면 보강효과에 의해 고무의 강도가 증가하였다. 나노점토 첨가로 계면간 분자확산 정도는 감소할 것으로 판단되었지만, 본 연구에서 관찰된 분자확산에 의해 형성된 계면의 두께는 분자사슬간 엄킴현상을 유발하는데 충분하여 계면점착력이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 계면점착력 증가현상은 일정한 이상 (8 phr)의 나노점토가 첨가되었을 때 나타났다. 나노점토 첨가에 따른 표면특성의 변화를 조사하기 위해 접촉각 측정을 하였는데 큰 변화는 관찰되지 않았다. The effect of nanoclay (Cloisite 20A) on the self-adhesion behavior of uncured brominated-isobutylene-isoprene rubber (BIIR) has been studied. The dispersion state of nanoclay into the rubber matrix was examined by SEM, TEM and XRD analysis. The thermal degradation behavior of the filled and unfilled samples was examined by TGA and improvement in the thermal stability of the nanocomposites occurred based on the weight loss (%) measurements. Also, addition of nanoclay enhanced the cohesive strength of the material by reinforcement action thereby reducing the degree of molecular diffusion across the interface of butyl rubber. However, the average depth of penetration of the inter-diffused chains was still adequate to form entanglement on either side of the interface, and thus offered greater resistance to peeling, resulting in high tack strength measurements. The improvement in tack strength was only achieved at critical nanoclay loading above 8 phr. Contact angle measurement was also made to examine the surface characteristics. There was no significant interfacial property change by employing the nanoclay.

      • 광주지역 방사선사의 근무실태 및 직무만족에 관한 연구

        Purpose : We carried out this study to search the relation between working situation and the job satisfaction level of 250 radiological technologists who are working on medical facilities located in Kwangju city. Methods : We used questionnaire about the job satisfaction level that was made by Junkon Kim and Chungki Son. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Results : The total job satisfaction level was higher, in groups with the highest annual salary and shorter working duration hours. In the subcategory of job satisfaction level, such as 'annual salary' level, 'welfare program', 'working condition' and 'sense of unity', radiological technologists working at the college hospital or primary doctor's office is higher than a medium-sized private hospital. Although their annual salary is higher, their duty and working time is more regular and shorter, it is possible that they have a chance of self-development. Conclusion : To increase the job satisfaction level, it is necessary ti induce motivation induced by some program for the radiological technologists.
