Department of Orthopedic Surgery, College of Medicine, Chosun University Hospital, Kwang-ju, Korea.(Directed by Prof. Te Hyun Youn, M.D.) The author analysed 588 cases of the open wound treated at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Chosun University Hospital, from March 1974 to February 1979. The purpose of this study was to define the rate of infection and sensitivity test for the organisms after infectious changes of the wound. The results were obtained as follow : 1) The majority of these wounds were caused by traffic accidents (44%) and the next was industrial accident (19%). 2) Sex ratio between male and female was 4.4 : 1 and the incidence of peak age of the injury was 3rd decade (30. 6%). 3) Of 588 patients, 81 cases (13.7%) were infected and the main causative organisms were Staphylococcus aureus (40.7%). 4) Staphylococcus aureus was very sensitive to cephalospolin. 5) Pseduomonas and E. coli species were relatively sensitive to gentamicin, kanamycm and carbenicillin.

Adaptive correlator receiver with neural network based on complex multilayer perceptron is persented for suppressing interference of narrowband of direct spread spectrum communication systems. Recursive least square algorithm with backpropagation error is used for fast convergence and better performance in adaptive correlator scheme. According to signal noise and transmission power, computer simulation results show that bit error ratio of adaptive correlator using neural network improved that that of adative transversal filter of direct sequence spread spectrum considering of jamming and narrow-band interference. Bit error ratio of adaptive correlator with neural network is reduced about 10^(-1) than that of adaptive transversal filter where interference versus signal ratio is 5dB.
ATM 네트워크에서 실시간 통신을 위한 지연제어에 관한 연구

According to increased bandwidth and processing performance in the future high speed networks, it is possible to make multimedia real-time applications such as distributed real-time applications including video conference, medical imaging, and video education. These applications have characteristics of stringent performance requirements in terms of delay, delay jitter and maximum loss rate. Although ATM network is believed to be a network that can meet there requirements, current delay analysis is inadequate to meet such growing performance requirements. This paper proposes a new delay analysis for ATM networks with FCFS queueing. The delay analysis provides an alternative solution to a current problem in real-time communication: traffic distortion, which makes it difficult to meet such real-time requirements. In simulation, it shows that the proposed delay analysis can guarantee local and end-to-end delay.
