        질병과 관련된 불확실성에 대한 개념분석

        The purpose of this study was to further understanding of nursing applications of uncertainty by analysing the concept of uncertainty as related to illness. From an analysis of the records on uncertainty, the following 4 characteristics of uncertainty were identified: vagueness, complexity, inadequate information and unpredictability. Identified antecedents were internal factors of personality and external situational factors. Consequence were negative responses in the cognitive evaluation area. Empirical referents were the degree of perceived uncertainty with emotional responses and social responses. From this study, nurses can understand the process and degree of perceived uncertainty and this understanding will facilitate the development of a new intervention method for patients and their caregivers.

        프리셉터의 핵심역량과 경력몰입에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to examine the core competency and career commitment of the preceptors to identify utility of the preceptorship as career management program. Method: The subjects were 107 clinical nurses who were working in one university hospital composed of the head nurses(n=27), non-preceptors(n=28), new graduate nurses(n=26) and preceptors(n=26). Demographic characteristics, core competency and career commitment were measured. The core competency was evaluated by the head nurses, non-preceptors, new graduate nurses, and preceptor themselves. And the career commitment was compared between the preceptors and non-preceptors. For data analyses, percentage, mean, t-test, ANOVA were adopted with the use of SPSS WIN 10.0. Result: The results of this study showed that the core competency of the preceptors was evaluated excellently by all subjects. In three domains, there were no significant difference in role model, socialization facillitator and educator except for learning experience planning between the head nurses, non-preceptors, new graduate nurses and preceptors. The career commitment was significant difference between the preceptors and non-preceptors. Conclusions: The finding above indicated that the preceptorship utilized the improvement of the core competency and career commitment of the preceptors as career management program. therefore, continually, the effort and interest for development of the preceptorship can be a remarkable contribution for nurses' career management in nursing organization.

        간호사의 학습 관련 자기주도성과 직무만족 및 조직몰입과의 관계

        Purpose: This study was to identify of the relationship of self-directed learning with job satisfaction and organizational commitment of nurses. Method: The subjects were 247 nurses who were working for the 5 of hospitals in Seoul, Daejeon and Kyong Ki. This study was conducted from Sep to Dec 2006. The data was collected by questionnaires and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, pearson correlation coefficients. Result: The self-directed learning was influenced significantly by the last school career, married state and job career. The job satisfaction was influenced significantly by job career. The organizational commitment was influenced significantly by age and job career. The self-directed learning is related with job satisfaction and organizational commitment of nurses. Conclusion: The findings indicated that the self-directed learning of nurses is important factor for improving job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Therefore it may be necessary further to develop the self-directed learning training program for efficiently nurse's education.

        간호사의 성격요인과 지각한 간호조직문화가 태움에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The study examined the effects of personality factors and the perceived nursing organizational culture on workplace bullying of nurses. Methods: The participants were 110 allied general hospital with more than 300 beds. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise regression analysis with the SPSS program. Results: Workplace bullying differed significantly by marital status (t=-2.43, p=.017) and clinical career (F=3.82, p=.012). Statistically significant positive relationships was observed between workplace bullying and hierarch-oriented culture (r=.24, p=.031), and task-oriented culture (r=.26, p=.006), negative relationships was observed between workplace bullying and relationship-oriented culture (r=-.37, p<.001), and Innovation-oriented culture (r=-.24, p=012). A total of 23.7% of workplace bullying was explained by clinical career and relation-oriented culture. Conclusion: These results could be used in the development of workplace bullying preventive programs and caring programs for nurses considering clinical career by focusing the organizational efforts on relationship-oriented culture creation.

        프리셉터의 변혁적 리더십이 신규간호사의 직무만족과 간호전무직태도에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: This study was to identify affecting factors on job satisfaction, nursing professional attitudes of new nurses according to transformational leadership of preceptors. Method: The subjects were 101 new nurses who were working for the 4 of university hospitals in Seoul, Daejeon and Kyong Ki. This study was conducted from Aug to Oct 2005. The data was collected by questionnaires and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression. Result: Transformational leadership of preceptors were significantly correlated between Job satisfaction, nursing professional attitudes of the new nurses. The stepwise multiple regression analysis for job satisfaction, nursing professional attitudes revealed that the most powerful predictor was charisma. Conclusion: The findings indicated that the transformational leadership of preceptors is important for improving job satisfaction, nursing professional attitudes of the new nurses. Therefore it may be necessary further to develop of the leadership training program for effective preceptorship.

        노인의 성격특성이 노화불안과 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: In this study, we sought to identify the impact of aging anxiety and successful aging on the personality traits of elderly. Method: Subjects were 108 elderly persons aged more than 65 years. Data collected from June to November 2015 were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: With regard to the mean scores of personality traits, conscientiousness yielded the highest score, and neuroticism the lowest. The mean score on aging anxiety was below average, and that on successful aging was above average. Aging anxiety differed significantly according to age, present job, economic status, and health status. Successful aging differed significantly according to having a spouse, economic status, and health status. Significant correlations were found between anxiety and conscientiousness, extraversion, and neuroticism, and between successful aging and conscientiousness, agreeableness, extraversion, openness, and neuroticism. Conscientiousness and neuroticism had an effect on aging anxiety (23.2%), whereas conscientiousness, agreeableness, extraversion, openness, and neuroticism affected aging anxiety (45.3%). Conclusion: These findings indicate that personality traits reduce aging anxiety and lead to successful aging among elderly.

        간호대학생의 자아탄력성 및 가족탄력성이 성공적 노화 인식에 미치는 영향

        urpose: This study aims to examine the relationship between ego resilience, family resilience, and the perception of successful aging in nursing students; additionally, specific factors relating to the perception of successful aging were identified. Methods: The participants comprised 154 nursing students. Data were collected through the administration of self-reported questionnaires. Data analysis was then performed utilizing a t-test, an ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and a multiple regression analysis. Results: Family resilience differed significantly based on the type of residence (p=.020) (i.e., living with grandparents (p=.048)). Perception of successful aging differed significantly based on grade (p<.001). The perception of successful aging showed a positive correlation relative to mode of communication and organizational pattern. The mode of communication accounted for 4.7% of perception of successful aging. Conclusion: The significance of the study on the importance of mode of communication was confirmed by identifying the effects of the perception of successful aging. Nursing students may actively cope with crises through communication; thus, successfully recognizing aging in order to lead a healthy life. Furthermore, having a high perception of successful aging while treating an increasing number of elderly patients at the clinical practice is believed to have a positive effect on patient care.

        간호조직문화가 프리셉터의 직무만족에 미치는영향

        Purpose: This study was to identify effect of nursing organizational culture on job satisfaction of preceptors. Method: The subjects were 73 preceptors who were working for the 4 of university hospitals in Seoul, Daejeon and Kyong Ki. This study was conducted from Aug to Oct 2005. The data was collected by questionnaires and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression. Result: Job satisfaction of preceptors were significantly correlated among nursing organizational culture. The stepwise multiple regression analysis on job satisfaction revealed that nursing organizational culture was a powerful predictor of job satisfaction. Conclusion: The findings indicate that nursing organizational culture is important for improving job satisfaction of preceptors. Therefore it is necessary to develop of good nursing organizational culture for successful preceptorship.

        요양병원 간호사의 장루관리에 관한 지식, 수행자신감 및 교육요구도

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the levels of knowledge and performance confidence of, and educational needs on ostomy care among nurses in long-term care hospitals. Methods: The participants were 97 nurses from D and C cities. Data were collected from September 6~26, 2019, with self-reported questionnaires including general characteristics, knowledge and performance confidence of, and educational needs on ostomy care. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVAs, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The correct rate of knowledge of ostomy care was 60.1%. In addition, performance confidence of ostomy care was low, while educational needs on ostomy care were high. The knowledge of ostomy care was identified as a factor influencing in educational needs on ostomy care (β=-0.69, p<.001). It explained 42.0% of the variation in educational needs on ostomy care. Conclusion: There are nursing needs about ostomy care for older cancer patients in long-term care hospitals. Thus educational programs of ostomy care that are suitable to apply to the long-term care hospitals are necessary to develop for enhancing nursing capacity.
