혼합분류기 기반 영상내 움직이는 객체의 혼잡도 인식에 관한 연구

혼합분류기를 이용한 패턴인식은 약한 분류기를 결합하여 강한 분류기를 구성하는 형태이다. 본 논문에서는 고정된 카메라를 통해 입력된 영상을 이용하여 특징을 추출하고 이것들을 이용한 약한 분류기의 결합으로 강한 분류기를 만들어 낸다. 제안하는 시스템 구성은 차영상 기법을 이용해서 이진화된 전경 영상을 얻고 모폴로지 침식연산 수행으로 얻어진 혼잡도 가중치 영상을 이용해 특징을 추출하게 된다. 추출된 특징을 조합하고 혼잡도를 판단하기 위한 모델의 훈련 및 인식을 위한 혼합분류기 알고리즘으로 부스팅 방법을 사용하였다. 혼합 분류기는 약한 분류기의 조합으로 하나의 강한 분류기를 만들어 내는 분류기로서 그림자나 반사 등이 일어나는 환경에서도 잠재적인 특징들을 잘 활용할 수 있다. 제안하는 시스템의 성능실험은 “AVSS 2007“의 도로환경의 차량 영상과 철도환경내의 승강장 영상을 사용하였다. 조명변화가 심한 야외환경과 승강장과 같은 복잡한 환경에서도 시스템의 우수한 성능을 보여주었다. Pattern recognition using ensemble classifiers is composed of strong classifier which consists of many weak classifiers. In this paper, we used feature extraction to organize strong classifier using static camera sequence. The strong classifier is made of weak classifiers which considers environmental factors. So the strong classifier overcomes environmental effect. Proposed method uses binary foreground image by frame difference method and the boosting is used to train crowdedness model and recognize crowdedness using features. Combination of weak classifiers makes strong ensemble classifier. The classifier could make use of potential features from the environment such as shadow and reflection. We tested the proposed system with road sequence and subway platform sequence which are included in “AVSS 2007” sequence. The result shows good accuracy and efficiency on complex environment.

The CCTV, closed circuit television, system is the most popular method to monitor some specific area. The CCTV-based monitoring system is composed of a lot of cameras installed the areas, and monitors to display the vision through the cameras. However, these systems have limitations to prevent some problems or to cope with the problems promptly, because they can carry out only the function that shows us the analogue images of the cameras. Especially, urban transit service area is the space where many people crowd in all at the same time and the space is not only wide but also distributed sporadically. This paper presents the efficient plan for video-based monitoring system to monitor urban transit service area. To build the efficient monitoring system, it is necessary to devide the monitoring area to appropriate sectors that should be composed to be displayed at a time. If the proposed method is used to construct the video-based monitoring system, the operating officers in the urban transit have the more direct and real images.

The generalization performance of an ensemble classifier depends on diversity between member classifiers as well as performance of each member. However, the existing methods are focused on error minimization of each step through repetition process and they can not suggest a method to add diversity. AdaBoost algorithm is the representative regression ensemble method to make a strong classifier using weak classifiers. In this paper, we suggest the new algorithm, Diverse AdaBoost algorithm, that it can improve performance of the final mixed classifier with adding diversity into the AdaBoost algorithm. In the existing algorithm, it uses a method that it selects a weak classifier to minimize error in repetition training process and includes it as a member of a mixed classifier, while it generates a mixed classifier with totally high performance through adding diversity as sacrificing accuracy of a weak classifier in suggested algorithm. The proposed algorithm suggests a specific method to consider diversity in a mixed classifier design.
도시철도 지능형 종합 감시시스템을 위한 상황인식기술 적용방안 연구

The one of the necessary technologies to live in the ubiquitous society that we can exchange some informations whenever it is and wherever we are, is the technology of context-awareness. The technology of context-awareness can be used various fields-medical science, national defense, national security and etc. and the technology can affect our society by and large. The technology of context-awareness is also applicable to many fields in the urban transit. In this paper, we describe the present condition of the technology of context-awareness and the examples of practical application of it and suggest some plans that are applicable to build an intelligent surveillance system for urban transit. We can connect the operating officer who is in the nearest to the place where the some events happened within the urban transit service area through the intelligent surveillance system for urban transit and we can get a foothold in perceiving automatically various events within urban transit service area. So, the technology of context-awareness is the basic technology to realize an intelligent surveillance for urban transit, for the security of passengers and the protection of facilities in urban transit.

도시철도는 승객의 유동이 많은 공공장소로써 승객 이용 장소가 혼잡할 경우 폭말물 투척, 절도, 시설물 파괴 등의 범죄가 발생할 수 있다. 그러나, 현재의 감시 시스템은 운영자가 관리 구간 내 승객의 혼잡도를 일일이 모니터링 해야한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 운영자에게 감시 시스템에서 자동적으로 혼잡도를 알려주어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 도시철도를 이용하는 승객의 혼잡도를 지능적 · 자동적으로 측정하기 위한 적절한 시나리오를 구성하였다. 해당 시나리오는 도시철도 감시 시스템에 적용하여 보다 양질의 도시철도 운영에 기여하고, 도시철도 승객의 치안유지에 이바지할 수 있다.

Urban transit administers need to introduce the intelligent system to know the situations in the urban transit service area automatically. It is one of the important elements to detect of intrusion in operation room or electric rooms, etc. In this paper, we describe the definition for detection of intrusion in urban transit area, and propose the context-awareness model detect of intrusion. We expect that the definition is helpful to extract the elements that are need to construct the intrusion detecting system. The proposed model that is based on an image analysis model and a rule-based model is also helpful to design intelligent surveillance model.
