Electric vehicle research is necessary to deal with the environmental issues and petroleum resources shortage. Energy consumption measurement of electric vehicle is considerably different form internal combustion engine vehicle using the carbon balance method. A practical method of energy consumption measurement has been developed for electric vehicles. Energy consumption are measured from AC energy to charger for recharge or DC energy from battery while driving. Evaluations are based on the electric vehicles. The purpose of this research is to measure energy consumption of the appropriate test methods for study.

In the automotive industry, hybrid electric vehicles have been developed and released continually to meet emission regulation and fuel-efficiency. Therefore, we need to research GHG emission factor for hybrid electric vehicles to reduce it’s GHG emission. Hybrid electric vehicles use engine and motor multiply. Existing GHG emission test method is unsuitable for development of GHG emission factor for hybrid electric vehicles. Because It has different GHG emissions as the ratio of the engine and motor driven although vehicles use same motor and battery. In this paper, test method would be presented to develop GHG emission factor for hybrid electric vehicles, and we want to take advantage of road sector’s GHG reduction policy formulation and evaluation, etc...

The emission factor of Tier 3 level is necessary to establish a policy for reducing GHG emissions and to promote it efficiently. In the passenger vehicle, the GHG emission factor was developed only prior to 2009, it is necessary to develop new GHG emission factors. This study was carried out for development of Tier 3 level GHG emission factors reflecting emission trend of passenger vehicle during the latest 3 years. To ensure reliability of developed new Tier 3 GHG emission factors, all test results were obtained through statistical analysis and the final regression model was determined by comparing the coefficient of determination. To review the accuracy of test results, uncertainty review was also carried out. New Tier 3 emission factors developed through this study will be utilized for national GHG emission estimation and policymaking.

Tier 3 level of the emission factor is a very useful tool for policy making and the need for GHG emission calculation. The existing national GHG emission factor was developed only for passenger vehicles prior to 2009, it is necessary to develop new GHG emission factors. This study was carried out for development of Tier 3 level GHG emission factors that used for national GHG emission estimated and policies necessary. For the development of Tier 3 emission factors, In this study, statistical validation of the results and the selection of regression models have been done. To review the accuracy of test results, uncertainty review was carried out.

배출가스 및 이산화탄소 등 환경규제 강화와 에너지 고갈 문제는 기존의 내연기관, 동력전달장치, 소재 등의 성능 향상과 함께 대체에너지를 사용하는 자동차의 필요성이 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 수소연료전지자동차 등의 상용화가 요구되고 있다. 기존 자동차와는 패러다임이 전혀 다른 수소연료전지자동차는 현재 다양한 방향으로 연구 개발되고 있으므로 수소연료전지자동차 관련 평가기술 중 연료소비율 측정방법도 그에 따라 개발되고 진행되어야 할 것이나 현재 국내에 이와 관련한 체계적인 연구가 미미한 실정이며, 국제적인 표준도 현재 설정되어 있지 않은 상황이다. 따라서 현재까지 진행 중인 수소연료전지자동차 연료소비율 측정방법에 대한 기준 동향 및 연구 사례 조사를 통해 관련 연구 계획의 수립과 향후 수소연료전지자동차 연료소비율에 대한 평가기술 도출을 위한 기초 자료로 활용하기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다.

All across our nation, people live, work, and learn in indoor environments and especially, many people spend more time than ever before inside of cars. Recent years have been increasing attention focused on the air contamination inside auto-cabin. The sources of air contamination inside auto-cabin are roughly divided into internal sources(ex. chemical compounds from interior material) and external sources(ex. tail-pipe emission etc.). The Purpose of this research is to examine the status of worldwide auto-cabin air quality study, and to give the information when research is intended to develop methods to mitigate indoor air problem from auto-cabin.
