Thioacetamide 유도 간독성 랫드 모델에서 맥문동 추출물의 간 보호 효과

Liver disease is caused by alcohol, stress and bad eating habits. Liver function protective agents are available on the market. but there are side effects from excessive intake and long-term use. To overcome this, studies on natural substances related to liver function protection are needed. The test material was dried lily extract and extracted under reduced pressure with 50 % ethanol. To evaluate the hepatoprotective effect of the ethanol extract of Liripoe platyphylla oral administration of the test substance was performed once a day for a total of 14 days. To induce hepatotoxicity, a single intraperitoneal administration of 250 mg/kg of thioacetamide was administered to SD-Rat. In the evaluation of body weight and diet of the experimental group compared with the normal control group, the weight gain rate (%) was decreased in all groups administered with thioacetamide. From the result of blood liver function tests AST, ALT, LDH, and Total-Bilirubin, the TAA alone group showed a significant increase compared to the normal control group, positive control group and experimental group showed a decrease compared to the TAA alone group. According to the result of histological evaluation of the liver, significant (p<0.05) level of inflammation was found in nuclear enrichment and cytoplasmic vacuolization. Liripoe platyphylla ethanol extract is judged to be a valuable natural product for liver damage protection.
