The purpose of the study was to present the development of housing environments and settlement environments system of young people who become a farmer for sustainable rural region according to case of housing condition and needs in Hongsung-gun. The data for the analysis was collected through the actual condition survey of 4 houses and questionnaire of 13 young people who become a farmer in Dosan 2-ri from June and September, 2019. The results were as follows : 1) Overall condition of housing environment of the young people who become a farmer in Dosan 2-ri were relatively poor by old house over 20 years or to repaired partly, and the houses were not safe and comfort in living because of outdoor toilet, bad electric installation and water supply facilities, etc. 2) Most young people who become a farmer was satisfied living in the rural region, and answered to need safe housing environment. 3) They needed public space of communication and interaction for residents in rural region. The programs to activate community in rural region were needed various culture and leisure activities and education.
한국 노인요양시설의 유형, 위치, 주변환경에 따른 건축특성 비교

The purpose of this study is to analyze architectural characteristics of the living environment of nursing homes for the elderly and to examine the current status and problems by clarifying the differences in variables of relation with the characteristics of the nursing homes. Mail survey was performed using a structured questionnaire from July 29th to August 31st, 2006. The questionnaire dealt with the general features of the facility and the elderly who live there, and the spatial feature of the facility. The study limited its survey to those facilities that were registered to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, which opened after 1995 and that had the capacity of more than 30 people. As a result, the questionnaire was sent to the directors of 344 facilities who were in charge of the nursing home operation and planning. 185 facilities returned the questionnaire and the study used 182 questionnaires for data analysis. The study used the SPSS 12 program to draw the frequency, percentage of the answers and utilized the cross-tab to analyze the differences. The results of this study were as follows: First, most facilities have opened after 2000 and 74% of the objects are free. In architectural characteristics, most of them were 1,000~2,000㎡ in building area, ― shape in the building shape, and corridor in the shape of floor plan. This means that the architectural characteristics of nursing homes in Korea were like as facilities. Second, the skilled care facilities was bigger, more various building types, and more cases of other facilities(day care center, short-term care center et al.) included than nursing homes. Third, in building area, the nursing homes in large cities were smaller than the nursing homes in small towns or rural areas. Other facilities, as day-care center, were included in many case of the nursing homes in large cities.
치매노인시설을 위한 환경디자인 이론과 실제의 연계성 연구

본 연구는 치매노인을 위한 거주환경 이론과 실제 디자인에 적용된 특성들간의 연계성을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 내용분석 기법을 연구방법으로 사용하였다. 분석 사례는 선진외국의 노인시설 관련 전문매체에 소개된 치매노인시설 11개를 대상으로, 시설의 환경적 특성을 보여주는 도면 및 다양한 정보(문자, 사진, 시각자료)를 분석하였다. 분석 사례들은 매체 설명자료에서 추출된 시설 특성과 연구자 관점에서 분석된 시설 특징으로 작성되었으며, 최종적으로 11사례에서 298개의 항목이 추출되어 분석에 사용되었다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 아챌리의 연속성이론은공간구성과 규모/크기부분에서, 로톤과 나헤모우의 환경압박이론은 조망, 공간구성, 통로부분에서, 카프와 카프의 유사보완이론은 공간구성, 조망, 통로부분에서, 자이젤 등의 환경-행태이론은 통로, 조망, 공간구성부분에서, 고프만의 자아표현이론은 벽과 가구부분에서, 알트만과 채머스의 생태학이론은 통로부분에서, 자이젤과 라이어의 신경과학이론은 규모/크기에서 보다 두드러지게 실제와 연계되어 있었다. 2) 실제 치매노인시설의 물리적 특성에서 공간구성의 경우 카프와 카프의 유사보완이론이 설득력 높게 연계되어 있었으며, 규모/크기에서는 자이젤과 라이어의 신경과학이론과 아챌리의 연속성이론이, 조망에서는 로톤과 나헤모우의 환경압박이론과 카프와 카프의 유사보완이론이, 통로에서는 자이젤 등의 환경-행태이론이 설득력있게 연계되어 있었다. 이러한 내용분석결과 각 이론들이 어떠한 물리적 측면에서 응용되고 있는지, 또 각 물리적 특성들은 어떤 이론이 설득력 있게 연계되어 있는가가 밝혀졌다. 즉, 이론과 실제 특성들이 임의대로 혹은 획일적으로 연계되어 있는 것이 아니라 특별한 이론은 특별한 실제적 특성에 확률적 가능성을 가지고 연계되어 있다는 것이다. 그러므로, 치매노인환경 이론 자체를 이해하는 것도 중요하지만 어떠한 이론이 어떻게 반영될 수 있는가를 이해하는 것도 시설 환경을 효율적으로 창조해 나가는데 중요한 기반이 된다. The purpose of this study was to link theory and practice of environmental design for people with dementia. Major method was content analysis of actual environmental designs. For connecting the theories and actual design characteristics, an analytical framework was developed. Seven major theories and eleven cases of facilities designed for people with dementia were analyzed. Those were published ones in periodicals in USA. The analytical data used included floor plans, texts, and visual materials including photographs. Under the framework for analysis, a total of 298 items were used to analyze the linkage. As results, according to theory and theoretical concepts, the Environmental Press Theory by Lawton & Nahemow, the Complementayr/Similarity Theory by Carp & Carp, ad Environment-Behavior Theory by Zeisel & etc. were the most frequently appeared in design features. While according to design features, theoretical background were related. This study was expected to offer a knowledge base for better environmental design for people with dementia and a step stone to help further establish guidelines for designing such facilities which can meet the cultural characteristics and traditional conditions of Korea.

In response to residents’ various characteristics and needs, large-scale multi-family housing complexes have recently developed smart housing services that incorporate smart technologies to support safe, pleasant, and comfortable living conditions and efficient maintenance. Based on residents" needs and satisfaction with smart housing services, this study aims to establish a direction for the universal application of services in the housing market by deriving smart housing services that conform to living patterns. This study surveyed residents of multi-family housing complexes that provide basic smart housing services and analyzed the user behavior, recognition, and satisfaction level of each household and household type. We hope that this study’s results can serve as a basis for developing and planning smart housing services for future user acceptance.
사용자 특성별 스마트하우징 주거서비스 이용 실태 및 선호도 조사

This study aims to provide basic data for the development and planning of customized residential services that meet the characteristics of residents. The survey was conducted on 511 residents of three apartment complexes that provide smart housing residential services. According to the user characteristics of gender, age, family composition, and smart technology acceptance, the smart housing residential service usage status and preference was investigated whether they were aware of and used them, and satisfied and needed for them. The results are summarized as follow; 1) In terms of usage by user characteristics, women, 40-59 years old, ‘couple+children’, and those with high acceptance of smart technology generally knew more services and used. In particular, awareness and usage of services related to indoor environment control, which are directly operated by users, were higher than other services. 2) They are highly satisfied with smart housing residential services that they frequently use because they are familiar with them and use them as much as they need. But they are less satisfied with services that are not used according to their preferences or to proficiency of using devices. 3) In order for smart technology to be favored by users, technology-based services must be properly delivered to users and used well to extract quality data.
