단축-경로와 확장성 해싱 기법을 이용한 경로-지향 질의의 평가속도 개선 방법

최근 인터넷의 폭발적인 성장과 인기로 인하여 인터넷을 통한 정보 교환이 극적으로 증가하고 있다. 또한 XML은 인터넷상에서 데이터를 교환하기 위한 표준인 동시에 중요한 수단이 되고 있다. 따라서 XML 문서를 검색하는데 있어서, 경로-지향 질의에 대한 평가 속도를 개선하는 문제는 중요한 이슈이다. 본 논문에서는 문서 데이터베이스에서 경로-지향 질의의 검색 성능을 개선하기 위한 새로운 인덱싱 방법을 제안하다. 새로운 인덱싱 방법에서는 경로-지향 질의를 효과적으로 수행하기 위해 단축-경로 파일을 생성하고 그것의 해시 코드 값을 인덱스 키로 사용한다. 또한 검색 평가 속도를 촉진시키기 위하여 단축-경로 파일을 확장성 해싱 기법과 결합하는 것으로 검색질의의 평가속도를 가속화하였다. Recently, due to the popularity and explosive growth of the Internet, information exchange is increasing dramatically over the Internet. Also the XML is becoming a standard as well as a major tool of data exchange on the Internet. so that in retrieving the XML document. the problem for speeding up evaluation of path-oriented queries is a main issue. In this paper, we propose a new indexing technique to advance the searching performance of path-oriented queries in document databases. In the new indexing technique, an abbreviation-path file to perform path-oriented queries efficiently is generated which is able to use its hash-code value to index keys. Also this technique can be further enhanced by combining the Extendible Hashing technique with the abbreviation path file to expedite a speed up evaluation of retrieval.

위치기반서비스 제공을 위한 위치정보에 관한 이해도 조사 -대학생들 중심으로

현재 스마트 폰의 위치정보를 수집하고 이것을 이용한 다양한 종류의 콘텐츠들이 개발되어 사용자들에게 제공이 되고 있다. 위치정보를 활용하는 위치기반 서비스 산업의 시장규모 또한 매년 증가를 하고 있으며 가장 많은 스마트폰 사용자 층은 대학생들이 차지하고 있다. 그리고 그들 대부분은 자신들 소유의 스마트 폰을 사용하고 있으며, 그들은 위치기반 서비스의 최대 이용자이면서 동시에 위치정보 수집의 주요 대상자들이다. 본 논문에서 우리는 대학생들이 위치정보에 대하여 어느 정도 이해를 하고 있는지 설문조사를 실시하고자 한다. 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 대학생들의 위치 정보 수집 및 이용에 대한 이해도를 높이고 위치 기반 서비스 산업 발전과 위치정보 교육을 위해 무엇이 고려되어야 하는지 깊은 고찰을 해보고 몇 가지 도움이 되는 제언을 하고자 한다. Currently, various kinds of contents using smart phone's location information are developed and provided to users. The market size of the location-based service industry utilizing location information is also increasing every year and the majority of smart phone users occupy university students and most of the university students are using their owns smart phones, and they are the biggest users of location-based services and the main target of location information collection. In this paper, we conduct to a survey how university students understand about location information. Based on the results of the survey, we will deeply examine which one is needed to improve understanding of university students' location information collection and usage and what should be considered for the development of the location-based service industry and education of location information and then we propose some helpful suggestion.

최근에 사용자 스마트 폰의 위치정보를 활용한 다양한 종류의 서비스들이 등장하고 있다. 이러한 시대적 동향을 기반으로 우리는 위치정보 기술의 한 분야인 지오펜싱 기술을 활용한 새로운 형태의 학습 지원 시스템의 설계를 하였다. 본 시스템은 학습자가 스마트 폰을 휴대한 채로 가상울타리 영역으로 설정한 강의실 안으로 진입을 하는 경우 학습자의 스마트 폰의 위치정보를 이용하여 강의실의 위치를 식별하고 학습자의 스마트 폰으로 필요한 학습콘텐츠를 자동으로 제공을 한다. 우리의 시스템은 학습 콘텐츠들을 메시지나 모바일 쿠폰의 형태와 유사한 형태로 제공을 하고 있으며, 학습자들은 이러한 모바일 서비스 환경에 매우 익숙하다. 따라서 본 시스템으로 제공되는 학습콘텐츠의 이용은 학습자의 학습 효과를 향상하는데 도움을 줄 있을 것으로 기대된다. In recently, various kinds of services utilizing the location information of the user's smart phone have appeared. Based on this trend, we designed a new type of learning assistant system that utilizes geofencing technology, which is a field of location information technology. This system identifies the location of the classroom using the location information of learner's the smart phone and automatically provides the necessary learning contents to the learner's smart phone when the learner enters the classroom set as the virtual fence area while carrying the smart phone respectively. Our system provides learning contents in a form similar to the form of a message or a mobile coupon and learners are used to such mobile service environments very much. So the use of learning contents provided by our system is expected to help improve the learning effect of learners.
