Conductive ink filling process was experimentally developed and optimized for fabrication of ultra-andwidth microwave absorbing meta-structure. Developed overall fabrication process consists of mechanical machining, polymer replication, and ink filling process. Effects of ink-fill parameters including blade type, ink viscosity, pattern depth, and blade speed were experimentally characterized to achieve uniformly filled flexible double square loop array. Under optimizing processing conditions, large-scale flexible film type meta-structure fabrication process was established.

Depression occurs in around 40-45% of patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and it often becomes worse as PD progress. Although underlying mechanisms of depression in PD are not clear, alteration in brain structure and genetic variants are known to contribute to its development. In this study, we aimed to explain clinical score of PD progression for PD patients with depression and non-PD patients with depression by features obtained from imaging genetics approach. Imaging genetics is a novel approach to identify genetic variants related to imaging features. All imaging and genetic data were obtained from openly accessible research database (PPMI). Imaging features were obtained through connectivity analysis derived from tractography of diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We then identified genetic variants using the imaging features as intermediate phenotype according to the imaging genetics approach. The linear regression model was constructed to combine neuroimaging features and genetic factors to explain clinical scores of PD progression. We confirmed this linear model explains the clinical score well (coefficient of R<SUP>2</SUP> of 0.728 and adjusted R<SUP>2</SUP>of0.57)
정상 노화군과 경도인지장애 환자군의 <sup>18</sup>F-FDG-PET과 <sup>11</sup>C-PIB-PET 영상을 이용한 뇌 연결망 분석

Recent research on mild cognitive impairment (MCI) has shown that cognitive and memory decline in this disease is accompanied by disruptive changes in the brain functional network. However, there have been no graph-theoretical studies using $^{11}C$-PIB PET data of the Alzheimer's Disease or mild cognitive impairment. In this study, we acquired $^{18}F$-FDG PET and $^{11}C$-PIB PET images of twenty-four normal aging control participants and thirty individuals with MCI from ADNI (Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative) database. Brain networks were constructed by thresholding binary correlation matrices using graph theoretical approaches. Both normal control and MCI group showed small-world property in $^{11}C$-PIB PET images as well as $^{18}F$-FDG PET images. $^{11}C$-PIB PET images showed significant difference between NC (normal control) and MCI over large range of sparsity values. This result will enable us to further analyze the brain using established graph-theoretical approaches for $^{11}C$-PIB PET images.
