패치워크 기법을 이용한 베지터블 가죽 패션디자인 연구 -몬드리안의 조형적 특성(황금비율)을 중심으로-

This study aimed to propose a leather fashion design work with patchwork techniques from Mondrian's formative characteristic, especially the golden ratio. Mondrian has inspired many fashion designers, among which the composition series is the most utilized work, characterized by a limited combination of colors and lines, in which the side is created and the three-dimensional effect produced by only three elements. Patchwork techniques are one of several types of quenching techniques which involves intentional carving of the material, other work or sewing with the remaining ‘jaturi’ material. In Korea, the concept of each patchwork technique can be established depending on what formative characteristics are embodied, as this is an example using representative patchwork techniques. As a specific method for research, the prior definitions of patchwork techniques, morphological and technical characteristics were considered based on prior research, and examples of clothes produced using existing patchwork techniques were collected and referred to in the production of silhouettes and details. In addition, the study analyzed the characteristics of Mondrian's work, selected the works that can be applied with patchwork techniques and with those works as design motifs produced a total of four real costumes. The material was made up of veggie-tumble sheepskin, and the finished outfit prevented Mondrian's work from being intuitively associated. It is difficult to find the identity of the original on the surface because it does not bring the inferred elements of the original motif, such as colors, shapes, and materials as they are in the design proposal study. Instead, it was faithful to analyzing and expressing the inner formative characteristics and the aesthetic value the artist wanted to express and tried to express the true artistic value that the work wanted to express in the entire process of producing the work. 이 연구는 패치워크 기법과 몬드리안 작품의 조형적 특성, 그중에서 황금비율을 콘셉트로 하는 가죽패션디자인 작품을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 했다. 몬드리안은 많은 패션디자이너에게 영감을 주었는데, 그중에서 콤포지션 시리즈가 가장 많이 활용된 작품으로, 제한된 색과 선의 조합, 그렇게 만들어진면, 단 세 가지 요소가 만들어내는 입체적인 효과가 특징이다. 패치워크 기법은 퀼팅 기법의 여러 유형 중 한 가지로, 소재를 의도적으로 조각내거나 다른 작업을 하고 남은 자투리 소재를 가지고 바느질이나 봉제를 해서 이어 붙이는 작업을 말한다. 우리나라에서는 조각보가 대표적인 패치워크 기법을 이용한 사례로, 어떠한 조형적 특성을 구체화하느냐에 따라서 각각의 패치워크 기법의 개념이 정립될 수있겠다. 연구를 위한 구체적인 방법으로는 패치워크 기법의 사전적 정의와 형태적, 기술적 특성들을선행연구 등을 토대로 고찰한 후, 기존의 패치워크 기법을 이용해서 제작된 옷의 사례를 수집해서 실루엣과 디테일 등의 제작에 참고했다. 그리고 몬드리안의 작품이 가지고 있는 조형적 특성을 분석하고그의 작품 중에서 패치워크 기법으로 응용이 가능한 작품들을 선별한 후 이를 디자인 모티프로 해서총 네 벌의 실물의상을 제작했다. 소재는 베지터블 가공을 거친 양가죽을 사용했으며, 완성된 의상은직관적으로 몬드리안의 작품이 연상되지 않도록 해서 진부해 보이지 않도록 했다. 이 디자인 제안 연구는 색이나 형태, 소재 등 오리지널 모티프의 유추가 가능한 요소를 그대로 차용하지 않았기 때문에표면적으로는 오리지널의 아이덴티티를 쉽게 찾기 어려울 수 있다. 대신 모티프가 가진 내면의 특성과작가가 표현하고자 했던 미적 가치를 깊이 있게 분석해서 표현하는데 충실히 하고자 했으며, 작품 제작의 전 과정에 작품이 표현하고자 했던 진정한 예술적 가치를 최대한 표현해 내고자 노력했다.

시대에 따른 미국 흑인 패션의 표현적 특징의 변화에 관한 연구 - 소울을 중심으로 -

소울은 백인 주류 사회에 대한 흑인들의 저항 의식의 핵심이었다. 시대가 변화해 나감에도 소울은 다양한 형태와 방법으로 미국의 대중문화에 끊임없이 영향을 미쳐 왔다. 패션 역시 소울의 영향을 많이 받은 분야로 써 소울이 가진 저항정신과 격정적인 이미지는 다운타운 패션이나 키치를 모티프로 하는 디자이너 브랜드 등에 적지 않은 영향을 미쳤다. 또, 최근에는 럭셔리 브랜드들도 자신들의 고급스러운 이미지에 맞게 소울 스타일을 정제해서 사용하는 등 영역을 넓혀가고 있다. 소울은 음악뿐만 아니라 춤이나 패션과 같은 스타일 에서도 저항 의식을 표출하고자 했다. 특히, 패션은 미국 흑인들의 정체성, 가치관, 행동 양식 등 문화적 의미 들을 응축한 스타일과 그들의 단결력과 자부심을 드러내는 정치적 의미들을 응축한 스타일의 표현이기도 했다. 소울 패션은 미국 흑인들의 단결과 저항 의식이라는 무형의 힘을 표출하기 위한 유형의 표현 수단이었 다. 특히, 후에 힙합 스타일의 탄생과 맥을 같이 하며 대중 패션의 영역 안으로 자리매김하게 된다. 힙합 패션 에 표현된 착장 규칙을 무시하는 방식의 스타일링 방법이나 올블랙 색상의 색 맞춤 코디네이션 등은 주류 사회에 대한 저항 의식을 표출하는 소울 스타일을 그대로 계승하는 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 소울 음악은 전통적 인 흑인음악의 한 장르로써 분류되며, 재즈와 더불어 오롯이 흑인들의 영혼을 담은 정체성과 자존심을 표현 하는 음악으로 정의할 수 있다. 20세기 초반부터 미국 흑인들은 자신들의 인간다울 수 있는 권리를 찾기 위해 주류 백인사회에 대한 저항을 시작했고, 그 전면에 소울, 재즈, 블루스 등의 음악을 내세웠다. 특히 격정적인 연주와 보컬리스트들의 폭발적인 가창력이 특징인 소울 음악은 한 맺힌 삶을 살아왔던 흑인들의 정서를 거 세게 몰아붙이며 주류 백인사회에 대한 저항 의식을 고취하는 데 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 1970년대에는 보헤미안 스타일과 함께 시위를 상징하는 스타일로 대두되기도 했으며, 2000년대에 들어서면서 소울의 저항정신을 계 승한 힙합은 대중 패션에 있어서 더욱 영향력 있는 패션스타일로의 입지를 공고히 했다. 럭셔리 브랜드들은 힙합의 패션 요소들을 자신들의 제품에 적용하기 시작했고, 스트리트 웨어로만 치부되던 하위문화의 상징에 서, 패션의 주류로 편입되게 되었다. Soul was the core of black people’s resistance to the white mainstream society, and even as times have changed, Soul has constantly influenced American pop culture in various forms and methods. Fashion was also influenced by Soul, and the spirit of resistance and passionate image of Soul had a considerable influence on downtown fashion and designer brands with kitsch motifs. In recent years, luxury brands have also expanded their range by refining and using soul styles to suit their luxurious images. Soul tried to express its resistance not only in music but also in styles such as dance and fashion. In particular, fashion was also a style that condensed cultural meanings, such as identity, values, and behavior styles of black Americans, and condensed political meanings that revealed their unity and pride. Soul fashion was a type of expression for the intangible power of unity and resistance consciousness of black Americans. Especially, it is in line with the birth of hip-hop style and takes a place in the area of popular fashion. The styling method of ignoring the rules of the wearing expressed in hip-hop fashion, or the color-customized coordination of all black color, can be seen as inheriting the soul style expressing the resistance to the mainstream society. Soul music is classified as a genre of traditional black music, and it can be defined as music expressing identity and pride of black people along with jazz. From the early 20th century, black Americans began to resist mainstream white society in order to find their right to be human, and on the front of it, they put music such as soul, jazz, and blues. Especially, soul music, which is characterized by passionate performance and explosive singing ability of vocalists, has had a great influence on raising the consciousness of resistance to mainstream white society by echoing the emotions of black people who have lived a heartbreaking life. In the 1970s, it emerged as a style symbolizing demonstrations with Bohemian style. In the 2000s, hip-hop, which inherited Soul’s resistance spirit, solidified its position as a more influential fashion style in popular fashion, and luxury brands began to apply hip-hop fashion elements to their products, and became incorporated into the mainstream of fashion from the symbol of subculture, which was regarded as streetwear only.

클럽문화가 대중의상에 미친 영향 : 하우스 뮤직(House Music)을 중심으로

1990년을 기점으로 하우스 음악이 전 세계적으로 인기를 얻기 시작했다. 하우스 음악은 단순히 음악의 한 장르로서가 아닌 사회 전반에 걸쳐 큰 영향을 미친 문화의 한 축으로까지 성장하기에 이르렀다. 하우스 음악은 패션에도 큰 영향을 미쳤으며 '하우스 스타일' 이라는 고유의 스타일을 만들어내기에 이르렀다. 2000년 이후에는 영국을 비롯한 유럽을 시작으로 하우스 음악에 영향을 받은 디자이너들이 등장하기 시작했으며, 하우스 스타일을 모티브로 삼는 상품들을 출시하는 대중 의류 브랜드들이 나타나기 시작했다. 또한, 하우스 음악에 영향을 받은 스타일을 한 가수들이나 연기자들이 대중들 앞에 나서기 시작하면서 하우스 음악은 패션을 포함한 대중 유행문화의 형성과 발전에 큰 영향을 끼치기 시작했다. 강렬한 비주얼 이펙트가 기본이 되는 화려한 네온컬러의 심플한 실루엣과 기하학적이며 극단적으로 단순화시킨 기하학적 문양이나 반복적인 패턴들이 주종을 이루고 있는 것이 특징인 하우스 음악 스타일은 이제 더 이상 하우스 음악을 즐기는 마니아들만을 위한 소수의 제한된 하위문화적인 스타일이 아닌 다양한 계층의 일반인들이 즐길 수 있는 대중의상으로써의 한 축으로 자리 잡기에 이르렀다. 이에 본 논문에서는 클럽문화가 대중문화 그 중에서도 특히 대중의상분야에 미친 영향에 대해서 클럽문화의 근간인 클럽음악 특히 하우스 음악에 기반을 두어서 구체적이고 심도 있게 연구를 해 보았으며 구체적인 연구방법으로는 관련 선행 연구와 단행본, 관련 잡지, 웹사이트 등을 조사하였고, 국내외 패션 브랜드 시장조사와, 국내외 패션, 클럽, 음악잡지에 실린 사진자료를 수집, 조사하였다. 실증적 연구를 위해 유럽과 한국의 여러 클럽현장 조사를 통해 취합한 자료들을 첨부하여 분석하였다.

에콜로지의 조형적 특징을 활용한 패션디자인 연구

The purpose of this study is to perform research of ecology concepts expressed in fashion and to propose a new ecology fashion design based on the results. As a specific research method, first, to determine the concept of ecology, the contents related to ecology were extracted and organized through literature research, and then a fashion collection research was conducted to acquire basic design data, such as silhouettes, materials, details, and colors. From WGSN, and a total of 57 images were selected and used as basic data for the design suggestions. As a result of collecting the collection images, it was found that cotton or denim fabrics were mainly used, and in particular, the frequency of use was high mainly for bright tones. The use of chambray, lace, and wrinkles, was also frequent, and the use of expression techniques using burn-out, bleach, and bleaching effects or parts, or entire dyeing was often noticeable. The colors showed neutral and pastel-toned characteristics, and the silhouette was mainly composed of long silhouettes centered on maxi, such as a top or calf based on the knee, rather than a mini. Fabrics for the final designs were linen and sappan wood, and they were used for the dye and red was used as the overall color. The silhouettes were simplified, and care was taken to prevent unnecessary waste, such as paper or materials, from being generated during the production stage. We tried to achieve the purpose of eco-logy by refraining from excessive trimming, except for essential subsidiary materials, such as zippers.

저고리의 디자인적 특징을 응용한 의상 디자인 제안

The main purpose of this design development research is mainly two. The first is to induce a more positive change in the way costume works are viewed and understood by the public. The second is to propose a costume design that can satisfy novel creativity needs for modern people who expect brand new. The work of reinterpreting traditional costumes and creating new designs is one of the design methods enjoyed by designers. So it is also a topic that requires a lot of careful and attention to look completely new. Therefore, the design proposed by this study pursued a new type of Jeogori design through analysis of not only Jeogori shape and structural features, but also formative characteristics and aesthetic value. The design development research finally proposed a total of four designs based on sheepskin that had undergone vegetable and waxing processing by setting the collar and Ye'mim, the core design elements of the Jeogori, as motifs. I made a change to each design by varying the degree and the shape of the collar, and the collar's closure was applied with the details of the western jacket style, such as attaching buttons to the back of the waist or fixing it with a zipper without using a separate pole.

수묵 화법의 조형적 특성을 활용한 패션디자인 제안

Oriental painting is a painting of technique that expresses the depth and lightness of ink, and emphasizes the beauty of margin. This is to express oriental thinking and aesthetics, and the artistic capacity of the Orient is condensed and unique aesthetic consciousness is inherent. The purpose of this study is to examine the oriental painting technique applied to fashion, especially Sumook’s expression technique used as fashion expression technique, and to suggest design using the effect of spread that Korean emotion is clearly expressed based on this. Sumook’s technique based on the aesthetic consciousness and emotion unique to the Orient is the secret of diversity of expressions according to the thickness and lightness of brush strokes and ink. In addition, Sumook technique is characterized by the ability to express static expression to dynamic area using harmony of margin. A total of six actual clothes were made to propose the design. Prior to the production, the concept and direction of design were determined by examining previous studies, related books and websites on costumes with oriental painting and ink painting techniques. Also, after analyzing the formative characteristics of oriental paintings and analyzing how Sumook techniques were applied to costumes, patterns were created through three-dimensional and flat combinations so that incision, detail, and color could be arranged harmoniously in a limited space of costumes at an appropriate rate. The space was connected through the effect that spreads so that the margin part can match naturally with the part, which is not the margin, and expressed the aesthetic consciousness of oriental painting by using only one achromatic color and refraining from using unnecessary colors. The material is set as cotton so that the dye is sufficiently spread, and it also induces the concentration of the gaze by leaving the space at which needs the emphasis of the costume or the effect of the flow, and refrains from using artificial details. This study is meaningful in that it applied silhouette, detail, material, and color based on the results of analyzing and reviewing the formality of oriental painting. Also, if the suggestion of additional expression techniques using Sumook and subsequent studies continue, it will be possible to succeed commercially in addition to academic achievements.

힙합문화의 음악적 특성 변화가 대중 패션에 미친 영향

Most of precedent studies related to hip hop culture and fashion, which have been conducted till now were progressed under only theoretical background of hiphop, not the changed status of hiphop currently. Practical studies explaining the status of hip hop in popular culture, especially, the area of popular fashion are insufficient. Therefore, this study was conducted by focusing on cultural characteristics and musical characteristics by the stream of period, for which concept hip hop is accepted to people currently and which effect it makes on the area of fashion. Especially, the study was progressed by dividing periodical background into before and after the 2000s because there was the most noticeable change for the genre of hip hop in that period. Because of the appearance of ``Alternative hip hop`` which is a sub-genre of hip hop music, hip hop music was changed to be more popular. Also, hip hop fashion also showed big changes. Hip hop fashion before 2000s had showed poor conditions, resistance, complex and alienation of them by their fashion. On the other hand, hip hop fashion after 2000s also showed popular characteristics because of high-level environment and social status. This study intended to understand and grasp hip hop as a kind of cultural situation coexisted by many-sided characteristics as well as redefine the changed concept and contents of new hip hop currently.

사회연결망 분석기법(SNA)을 활용한 기후변화 분야 공동연구네트워크 분석

사회연결망 분석기법(Social Network Analysis)은 최근, 정책의 효과분석이나 정책제안 등에 활발히 이용되고 있다. 기후변화 분야의 다양성으로 다학제적 접근의 중요성이 커지면서 공동연구가 활발해짐에 따라, 사회연결망 분석기법(Social Network Analysis)을 활용한 공동연구의 참여자 네트워크를 분석해볼 필요가 있다. 이 연구는 사회연결망 분석기법(Social Network Analysis)을 통해 기후변화 관련 공동연구에 참여하는 연구자들의 소속기관 간 네트워크를 살펴보았다. 기관을 유형화하고 유형 간 비교를 시행한 것, 공동연구 네트워크의 속성을 파악하고 분야를 탐색한 것 등은 후속연구 및 연구개발지원에 참고가 될 수 있다. Social Network Analysis is being actively used for analysis of policy effect and policy suggestion. The co-research became actively, by the importance of an multidisciplinary approach and diversity of climate change. Accordingly, there is a need to analyze the co-research participants` network. this research inspects the network of author`s department in the climate change academic community using Social Network Analysis. It can be a reference that typing department and comparison analysis of co-research network for subsequent studies and R&D support.

라이더 재킷의 디자인 특성을 이용한 패션디자인 제안
