Purpose: In this study, the effect of spelling instruction using self-monitoring strategy on phonological variation word spelling achievement of elementary school students with writing learning disabilities was to be investigated. Method: To this end, the multiple probe across participants design was applied to students with writing learning disabilities in the third and fourth grades of elementary school located in Gyeonggi-do. Results: The effect of intervention was investigated through visual analysis using tables and graphs. The results of the study are as follows. First, the spelling achievement of phonological variation words of elementary school students with writing learning disabilities was improved through spelling instruction using self-monitoring strategy. Second, the spelling achievement of phonological variation words of elementary school students with writing learning disabilities was maintained even after the intervention was completed through spelling instruction using self-monitoring strategy. Third, the spelling achievement of phonological variation words of elementary school students with writing learning disabilities became common even after the intervention was completed through spelling instruction using self-monitoring strategy. Conclusion and Discussion: This study can be said to be meaningful in that it had a positive effect on the spelling achievement of phonological variation words of elementary school students with writing learning disabilities through spelling instruction using self-monitoring strategy.

Quantitative Transmission Disequilibrium Test를 이용한 지질대사관련 유전자의 혈중 지질농도 결정에 미치는 영향분석

        박찬미,엄상미,장양수,박현영 대한심장학회 2008 Korean Circulation Journal Vol.38 No.4

Background and Objectives: The plasma lipid levels play crucial roles in the development of atherosclerotic diseases. We estimated the genetic variance of the lipid levels according to the contributions of the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and haplotypes in 5 candidate genes. Subjects and Methods: We selected SNPs in the ATP binding cassette A1 (ABCA1) gene, the apolipoprotien A5 (APOA5), apolipoprotien E (APOE) gene, the cholesterol ester transfer protein (CETP) gene and the hepatic triglyceride lipase (LIPC) gene in 383 individuals from 100 Korean families. The genotype was determined by Orchid’s SNP-ITTM technology. The association analysis of the quantitative traits was performed using the quantitative transmission disequilibrium test. Results: A component analysis of the phenotypic variance explained 24.7% of the genetic variance on the total cholesterol, 26.4% of the genetic variance of the high density lipoprotein (HDL)-cholesterol, 11% of the genetic variance of the triglycerides, 35.6% of the genetic variance of the low density lipoprotein (LDL)-cholesterol and 18.9% of the genetic variance of the LDL-C/HDL-C, respectively. The association of the SNPs in the candidate genes explained a major fraction of the genetic phenotypic variance in the LDL-C/HDL-C ratio, but not in the other lipid profiles. The association with SNPs explained 38.5% of the variance for the total cholesterol, 32.2% of the variance for HDLcholesterol and 29.5% of the variance for LDL-cholesterol relative to the polygenic background. An analysis of the contribution of each gene to the genetic variance showed that ABCA1, APOE, CETP and LIPC influenced the variations in total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and LDL-C/HDL-C. The variation in HDL-cholesterol was influenced by ABCA1, APOA5 and APOE. Conclusion: We identified that the genetic variance for the total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol, and the LDL-C/HDL-C ratio was significantly influenced by the genetic polymorphisms in 5 candidate genes in the Korean population. Further studies are necessary to identify other genes that can explain a major fraction of the genetic variance for the lipid levels. 취학전 아동의 상의구성을 위한 여유량 연구

        朴贊美,徐美亞 복식문화학회 1993 服飾文化硏究 Vol.1 No.2

This study aimes to investigate the garment ease of pre-school children's clothing in accordance with arm movement. The experiment was done with 4 pre-school children from age 3 to age 5, and 3 types of experimental clothes were made ; sleeveless, half sleeve, and long sleeve. The waist pattern and the sleeve pattern of each experimental clothes has no garment ease. And experimental clothes were examined to obtain the necessary ease of armcye line and waist line by cross-cut method. The results of investigation can be summarized as follows ; 1. The resulting movement ranges of experimental clothes with no garment ease were 131.5° (sleeveless), 71.75° (half sleeve), and 62.25° (long sleeve). 2. The size order of cross-cut openning of walst line movement were (side > front > back), and (half sleeve > long sleeve > sleeveless). 3. When the base point of measurement was set to armpit point by arm the latitudinallength of cross-cut openning of armcye line by arm movement was (anterior armpit part > posterior armpit part), and longitudinal length of cross-cut openning was (upper part > lower part).
