This study was conducted to investigate the effects of loquat (Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) leaf powder (LLP) on quality characteristics of dumpling shells. Dumpling shell samples were prepared with wheat flour containing different amounts of LLP, and their characteristics were then investigated. Amylography revealed that the gelatinization temperature of the LLPwheat flours composite increased, while the initial viscosity at 95℃, viscosity at 95℃ after 15 minutes, and maximum viscosity, all decreased with increasing LLP content. As increasing amounts of LLP were added, the L and a values were reduced, whereas the b value was increased. Moreover, the addition of LLP increased hardness, cohesiveness, and adhesiveness, while it reduced springiness. Overall, sensory evaluation revealed that dumpling shells with 5% LLP were preferred more than other samples.

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of the addition of Taraxacum coreamm powder (TCP) (1%, 3%, 5%, 7%) on the quality of pound cake. The specific gravity of the pound cake increased, but the pH of the pound cake significantly decreased with the addition of Taraxacum coreamm powder. The weight of the pound cake slightly increased, whereas the volume and specific loaf volume decreased with the addition of TCP. The texture analysis showed that hardness, chewiness, and gumminess were higher with the addition of TCP than in the control group. The L and a value of the pound cake decreased, whereas the b value increased with the addition of TCP. The moisture content and the DPPH radical scavenging activities of the pound cake increased as percentages of TCP significantly increased.

A step down chopper and PWM current source inverter is used for the connection between the PV array and the utility. This paper proposes chopper is controlled for the dc reactor decrease and PWM current source inverter is controlled to keep the output power at the maximum point for the PV. The PV current only is measured and employed for the power calculation combining the control parameter of the PWM current source inverter.<br/> <br/>

A high power U.P.S system utilizing the parallel connection of low power U.P.S is developed. For the purpose of elimination the circular current between U.P.S.s, a digital circuit is employed. Furthermore a double phase synchronization and an interphase reactor are used to eliminate the circular current and the voltage ripples caused by the system parameter unbalances of parall connected U.P.S.s. The digital controller is implemented with ADSP21061 as aspect of a functional convenience.
