The purpose of this study was to determine whether kinesio taping therapy can improve muscle functions of athletes. The subjects for this study are 12 male university athletes whose muscle strengths were measured by means of Biodex Ⅲ under uniform motion after taping therapy was applied to musculus quadriceps femoris. The results of this study could be summed up as follows; A significant difference was found in the peak torque after 5 times of flexion strength at the lower speed load of 60°/sec, 120°/sec, but any particular difference detected neither in extension strength. And a significant difference was found in reciprocal ratio. Average power was significantly evident after 5 times of extension/flexion repetition exercise at the middle speed load of 120°/sec. A significant difference was also confirmed in extension/flexion at accel time. There was no significant difference between the total work and endurance ratio after maximum 25 times extension/flexion at the high speed load of 180°/sec. From the above findings, it may be concluded that kinesio taping therapy, when applied to thigh muscle under the uniform motion, will improve the muscle strength of athletes and is expected to be used as effective means for games and to reinforce thigh strength in the future.

The present paper has the purpose of investigating the relationships between differences in shoulder height, leg length, foot arch height and weight distribution on anthropometric variables. For this purpose, a survey was carried out to 34 college students by measuring, comparing and analyzing the height of their left and right shoulders and difference in it, the length of their left and right legs and difference in it and the height of their left and right foot arches and difference in it, and also assuming the effects of each factor on weight distribution. From the survey, following conclusions could be drawn: It was revealed that shoulder height and weight balance tend to differ by gender but no correlation was found to exist between the difference in shoulder height and weight distribution in the left and right sides; There was a tendency that weight distribution increases in the right side as the left leg gets longer, without correlation between them, though; No correlation was shown to exist between the difference in left and right foot arch height and weight distribution; It was discovered that persons with left or right deviation of weight tend to have lower shoulder height in the left side; Left leg length, difference in shoulder height and left foot arch height seemed to be the factors that determine the left weight deviation; Likewise, left leg length, difference in shoulder height and left foot arch height were also the factors influencing right weight deviation; and The factors that may influence overall deviation of weight were left shoulder height and right leg length, it was believed. From the conclusions as above, it became evident that no correlation existed in the differences of shoulder height, leg length and foot arch height and that students with left or right deviation of weight tended to have lower shoulder height in the left side. The factors determining the weight deviation included left leg length, difference in shoulder height and left foot arch height for both left and right sides while the factors influencing overall weight deviation were left shoulder height and right leg length.
써어킷 웨이트 트레이닝이 MDA 및 SOD 농도에 미치는 영향

This paper deals with a study on the effects of college students’ circuit weight training on their lipid peroxidation(MDA)and superoxide dismutase(SOD). For this purpose, 10 each of 20 subjects were assigned randomly to the experiment and control group, respectively. Five times a week circuit weight training was conducted to the experiment group during the 12-week period and analyses were made as to its MDA and SOD. resulting in the following conclusions: The analysis of mutual reaction by period and between groups found positive outcomes in MDA(p<.05), SOD(p<.001). From the sum-up of the above results, it may be concluded that the physical stress by way of circuit weight training could contribute to activating SOD. In order to solve the problems that could not be determined in this study, however, future studies would further be required in the field of oxidative stress in the wake of aerobic and resistive complex training and superoxide treatment.

본 연구에서는 국내 컨테이너 전용 터미널(부산항 8개 터미널, 광양항 6 개 터미널)을 대상으로 DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis)모형을 통해 효율성을 분석하였다 일정 시점을 대상으로 한 분석이 아니라, 1998년 ~2005년 동안의 효율성 분석을 설시하였으며, 이를 통해 각 터미널의 효율성 변화를 살펴보았다 본 논문의 분석 결과는 우리나라 터미널의 상대적언 효율성 값을 제시해 줄 뿐만 아니라 선규 터미널 생성, 운영사의 변화, 터미널의 통합 운영 등에 따른 터미널 생산성의 변화 등을 제시하여 줌으로써 터미널 운영사의 향후 운영전략에 시사점을 제공하고 있다. This paper presented a approach to the measurement of efficiency in container terminals in Korea To perform this objective, it used Data envelopment analysis(DEA) which has particular applicability in the service sector. DEA as mathematical programming techniques enables relative efficiency ratings to be derived within a set of analysed units. So this paper investigated the efficiency employing DEA-CCR and DEA-BCC Model on data for 15 container terminals from 1998 through 2005. Results of this paper, suggested to some plan for operation strategy in Container terminals.

As architectures have recently become high-risers and megastructured, stable high strength products have been ensured. Accordingly, use of precast concrete accouplement has been increased in order to facilitate air compression and rationalize construction. Since not only external heating but also internal temperature rise caused by the accumulation of cement hydration heat in manufacturing process, precast concrete members with large cross-section used for high-rise mega-structure's columns and beams may exhibit different temperature history compared to the precast concrete members for wall and sub-floor with relatively small cross-sections. Therefore, this study aims to elucidate the characteristics of temperature history of mass concrete members cast with high-strength concrete for precast concrete application. In this study, large cross-sectional precast concrete mock-up, unit cement quantity, and temperature histories in manufacturing precast concrete member under different curing condition were inclusively investigated.

Recently, as architectural concrete structures become high-rise and megastructured, concrete become high-strengthened and, by ensuring products of more stability, and rationalization of construction are required. large cross-sectional precast concrete members such as columns show large temperature increase in manufacturing process not only by external heating but also by concrete itself's hydration heating. Therefore, it is expected that specimen for management to predict strength and compression strength of precast concrete member shows different strength characteristics. Concerning this, in order to suggest strength characteristics of high strength mass concrete suitable for precast concrete application, this study comprises the inclusive investigations on the relations between core strength and the strength characteristics per member cross-section dimensional value and per water-bonding material ratio value.
