Acrylonitrile 제조시 부산물로 생성되는 acetonitrile-water 공비혼합물에서 용매추출하여 acetonitrile을 회수하기 위하여 benzene, toluene, o-xylene, ethylacetate 및 monochlorobenzene을 용매로 선택하여 25℃ 에서 solvent(1)-water(2)-acetonitrile(3)계의 액-액 평형데이타를 구하였으며, 그 실험데이타의 건전성을 조사하였고, tie line과 plait point 조성을 결정하였다. 또한 NRTL, UNIQUAC 및 modified UNIQUAC모델식에 적용하여 parameter를 추산하고 각 용매에 대한 분배계수와 선택도를 결정하였다. In process of manufacturing acrylonitrile, azeotrope of acetonitrile-water was come into being as by-product. For the purpose of recovering acetonitrile through solvent extraction process, benzene, toluene, o-xylene, ethylacetate and monochlorobenzene as solvents were selected in order to separate acetonitrile from azeotrope of acetonitrile-water. In this study liquid-liquid equilibrium data were determined and consistency of the experimental data was investigated. The tie line and plait point for solvent(1)-water(2)-acetonitrile(3) system were determined at 25℃. The parameters in the NRTL, UNIQUAC and modified UNIQUAC model were predicted, distribution coefficient and selectivity of each solvent were determined respectively.

The experimental binodal curves and tie lines were determined for solvent-NaCl salt solution-pyridine systems at 25℃, and those tie line data were used to test thermodynamic consistency. The NaCl salt solutions were prepared with aqueous solution of 5%, 10% and 15% NaCl salts respectively. The experimental tie line data were correlated with the NRTL model, and the parameters and the calculated values of tie line were predicted. The effect of salt addition on liquid-liquid equilibria was also studied along with the increment of salt concentration.

The experimental binodal curve, tie line and plait point were determined for the ternary systems of pyridine-water with cyclohexane, o-xylene, aniline, monochlorobenzene, n-butyl acetate and ethyl acetate as solvents at 25℃, and those tie line data were used to test thermodynamic consistency. The experimental tie line data were correlated with the UNIQUAC and modified UNIQUAC models, and the parameters in each model and the calculated values of tie lines were predicted. The distribution and selectivity curves in the equilibrium of ternary systems were determined to find the extraction effect.

Benzene, toluene, o-xylene, ethylacetate and monochlorobenzene as solvents were selected in order to determine the liquid-liquid equilibria for solvent(1)-water(2)-acetonitrile(3) and solvent(1)-halogen salt saluton(2)-acetonitrile(3) systems. The consistency test for the experimental data was investigated using several correlations. The experimental tie line data were correlated with the NRTL, UNIQUAC and modified UNIQUAC models. The parameters contained in these models were determined. The salt effect on liquid-liquid equilibrium was also studied.

에너지 비용의 상승에 따라 추출에 기본원리를 둔 새로운 분리공정에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되고 있으며, 이에 따라 액-액평형 조성의 계산 및 예측에 대한 필요성이 매우 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 공비혼합물을 형성하는 2-propanol 수용액에 용매로서 methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, ethylacetate, butylacetate, toluene 및 o-xylene을 첨가한 삼성분계에 대하여 25℃에서 용해도곡선, tie line, plait point, 분배계수와 선택도를 실험을 통해 구하였다. Tie line 데이터의 열역학적 건전성을 확인하였으며 실험값을 NRTL 및 UNIQUAC 모델식으로 구한 계산값과 비교하였다. Due to the rising cost of energy, new separation processes based on extraction are becoming more attractive than before. Thus, the need for calculating and predicting liquid-liquid equilibria(LLE) compositions has very much increased. The purpose of this study is to determine the binodal curves, tie lines, plait point, distribution and selectivity for the ternary systems of 2-propanol-water with methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, ethylacetate, butylacetate, toluene and o-xylene as solvents at 25℃. And those tie line data were used to examine thermodynamic consistency. The experimental tie line data were correlated with NRTL and UNIQUAC models.
