      • 7,12-Dimethylbenzanthracene에 의한 초기 피부암 발생 과정에서 glutathione S-transferase변동에 관한 면역조직화학적 관찰

        흰쥐의 피부암 모델을 선택하여 발암원인 DMBA와 발암촉진제인 PE를 사용하여 피부암 발생과정중 초기의 병리학적 변화과정의 형태학적변화와 효소의 변동을 관찰하기 위하여 케라틴, GST의 동종효소인 GST-P 및 GST-L의 출현도와 분포를 면역조직화학적으로 염색하고 비교하였다. 병리조직학적으로 염증세포의 침윤정도는 PE를 도포한 군에서만 도포후 10시간에 중등도로 관찰되었으나 DMBA를 단독 도포한 군에서는 관찰되지 않았다. 극세포증은 DMBA와 PE를 반복도포한 군에서 고도로 증가하였다. 면역조직화학적으로 케라틴은 PE를 단독 또는 반복도포한 군에서 경도로 증가하였으나 DMBA와 PE를 반복도포한 군에서는 고도로 증가하였다. GST는 GST-P가 PE를 도포한 모든 군에서 경도로 증가하였으나 DMBA를 함께 도포된 군에서는 증가하여 고도로 관찰되었다. GST-L는 모든 군에서 거의 변화가 없었다. 그러나 DMBA가 함께 도포된 군에서 모두 경도로 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과로 피부의 발암과정에서 DMBA와 PE의 반복 투여는 피부에 염증과 심한 극세포증을 유발시키는데 이때 동반되는 증식성 상피세포내 GST-P의 양적 증가는 이 효소가 피부암의 초기 발암과정에서 증식된 변이세포자체의 방어기제에 작용하고 있을 것으로 생각되었다. Glutathione S-transferases GSTs are major detoxcating enzymes which calalyse the process of detoxification of variety of electrophilic compounds in the cytoplasm of most mammalian cells. The GST isoenzymes can be divided into the two major groups basic(alpha) and acidic(pi) form which are abundant in the liver and placenta, respectively. These enzymes are known to be expressed in the neoplastic conditions, especially in the early hepatocarcinogenesis. We carried out the immunohistochemical study on the effects of early skin carcinogenesis by using polyclonal antibodies against keratin, basic GST(GST-L) and acidic GST(GST-P). GST is the major detoxicating enzyme in the skin. The objectives were to observe the changes of the GST in the epidermis during the carcinogenesis provoked with 7,12-dimethylbenzanthracene(DMBA). Histopathologically, phorbol ester induced moderate inflammatory reaction in the dermis but DMBA did not. DMBA alone did not induce no acanthosis. Multiple application of phorbol ester induced mild acanthosis and most pronounced with addition of DMBA. Immumhistochemically, keratin and GST-P espressions were closedly related with acanthosis of epidermis and most pronounced in the skin trated with DMBA and multiple phorbol ester, but GST-L is not induced. GST-P was markedly induced in the early stage of skin carcinogenesis developed by DMBA with phorbol ester and the amounts were closely related with degree of epidermis proliferation. It is, therefore, suggested GST-P play protective roles in the proliferating cells.

      • 위 선암과 주위 점막에서 Gastrin과 Somatostatin의 출현에 관한 면역조직화학적 관찰

        To observe the distribution pattern and relationship of the gastrin and somatostatin positive cells gastric adenocarcinoma, immunohistochemical studies were carried out. The studies consisted of 20 cases of adenocarcinoma from antrum (13 cases of poorly differentiated type, 3 cases of muclnous type and 4 cases of moderately differentiated type) and 10 cases from body (4 cases of poorly differentiated type, 2 cases of mucinous type and 4 cases of moderately differentiated type). The results were as follows: 1. The positive cells of gastrin and somatostatin was more abundant in the nonneoplastic glands than those in the neoplastic lesions. 2. The positive reaction of gastrin and somatostatin of the neoplastic lesion depends upon the differentiation of tumor cells and location of tumor, showing stronger reaction In the more differentiated type and antral location. 3. Seven cases in all 20 antral adenocarcinoma showed synchronous production of gastrin and somatostatin. 4. The endocrine cells were abundant in antral glandular and foveolar epithelia, showing coarse granular positive cells with group fashion of gastrin positive cells (9/20) and somatostatin positive cells (2/20). 5. Therefore, according to the pattern of gastrin and sorrlatostatin positive cells in the gastrie adenocarcenoma, it was sugsested that gastric endocrine cells are supposed to be arised from the precursor cells of endodermal origin.

        FTS법으로 제작한 ZnO/AZO 박막의 결정학적 특성

        The ZnO thin films were prepared by the FTS (facing target sputtering) system, which enables to provide high density plasma and a high deposition rate at a low working gas pressure. We introduced the AZO thin film in order to improve the crystallographic properties of ZnO thin film because of the AZO(ZnO:Al) thin film has an equal crystal structure to the ZnO thin film. ZnO/AZO thin films were deposited at a different oxygen gas flow ratio, R.T. 2mTorr working pressure and a 0.8A sputtering current. The film thickness and c-axis preferred orientation of ZnO/AZO/glass thin films were measured by ${\alpha}$-step and an x-ray diffraction (XRD) instrument. In the results, we could prepare the ZnO thin film with c-axis preferred orientation of about 6$^{\circ}$ on substrate temperature R.T. at O$_2$ gas flo rate 0.5.

        외상환자의 보험체계에 따른 진료비 분석

        Purpose: In Korea, the nation`s medical expenses were 12 billion won in 2010. The medical costs for individuals can also be overwhelming. If a patient has sustained severe trauma, his/her insurance company responsible may pay only part of the medical bills. In Korean, there are diverse types of medical insurance, such as health insurance, automobile insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance. And each insurance system has a different type of payment system. Our study will be essential for establishing the optimal medical expense payment system. Methods: From January to December 2011, we retrospectively reviewed the medical charts of 161 patients who were admitted to our hospital`s emergency room after having undergone severe trauma. Of those 161 patients, 125 were retrospectively reviewed. Written permission was obtained from all of the patients. We analysed the demographic characteristics, clinical outcomes, data of the trauma, type of the patient`s insurance, and the entire bill when the patient was discharged. Results: Seventy-one patients had health insurance, 48 automobile insurance, and six industrial accident compensation insurance. High-deductible insurance included health insurance and industrial accident compensation insurance, with the deductibles up to 20.6% and 19.1%, respectively. We attempted to analyze the cause of the high deductible rate. In patients with health insurance, medicines, primarily sedatives, pain killers, antibiotics, and fluids. comprised a large proportion. On the other hand, industrial accident compensation insurance deducted for a high-grade hospital room charge. Conclusion: We found that medical expenses were diverse according to the type of insurance. In particular, health insurance forced patients to pay too much of the medical expenses. Therefore, in Korea we should try to identify the insurance problems and improve the wage system. (J Trauma Inj 2012;25:178-187)

        Co-Cr(-Ta)/Si 이층막의 자기적 특성

        In odder to investigate the magnetic properties of CoCr-based bilayered thin films on kind of underlayer, we introduced amorphous Si layer to Co-Cr(-Ta) magnetic layer as underlayer. First, we prepared CoCr and CoCrTa single layer using the Facing Targets Sputtering system to investigate theirs properties. It was revealed that with increasing the film thickness of CoCr, CoCrTa single layer, crystalline orientation and perpendicular coercivity was improved. The CoCrTa thin film showed bettor crystalline and magnetic characteristics than CoCr thin film. As a result of investigating magnetic properties of CoCr and CoCrTa magnetic layer on introducing the Si underlayer, perpendicular coercivity and saturation magnetization of CoCr/Si and CoCrTa/Si bilayered thin film were decreased due to the increased grain size and diffusion of Si atoms to magnetic layer. And they showed constant with increasing the film thickness of Si thin film. However, in case of CoCrTa/Si bilayered thin film, in-plane coercivity was controlled low at about 250Oe. The c-axis orientations of CoCr/si and CoCrTa/Si bilayered thin film showed a good crystalline characteristics as about $2^{\circ}$.

        FTS법을 이용한 ITO박막의 제작

        The ITO thin films were prepared by the FTS(Facing Targets Sputtering) system. The ITO thin films are deposited by changing the input current and working gas pressure. Then, electric characteristics, transmittance and surface roughness of ITO thin films were measured by Hall effect measurement, UV-VIS spectrometer and AFM. As a result, the ITO thin film was fabricated with resistivity 6xl0$^{-4}$ Ωㆍcm, carrier mobility 52.11 $\textrm{cm}^2$/Vㆍsec, carrier concentration 1.72 x $10^{20}$ $cm^{-3}$ transmittance over 85 % of ITO film at working gas pressure 1 mTorr and input current 0.6 A.
