        Power Steering System의 구동력이 차량 모드주행연비에 미치는 영향

        To improve the vehicle fuel economy, various technologies have been studied. Meanwhile it deteriorates fuel economy that the increased driving torque for Power Steering System (PSS) due to weighted vehicle and widened tire for low speed driving and parking. So the larger driving torque for PSS is, the lower fuel economy is. Therefore, the study about the effect of the driving torque for PSS and the engine total friction must be preceded to improve the vehicle fuel economy. In this study, a PSS module separated from the vehicle is used to measure the driving torque for PSS with respect to the pressure of PSS. The result shows that the driving torque for PSS was in direct proportion to the pressure of PSS 3 (N-m) driving torque for PSS vs. 10 (bar) pressure of PSS, and 8 (N-m) vs. 40 (bar). In addition, the driving torque and pressure for PSS was measured according to the engine speed in the component test condition which was in the vehicle condition. Measuring the driving torque for PSP in the vehicle condition was established by using the VeFAS which was a fuel economy analyzer developed in our lab and installing PSS By-pass line. The effect of the driving torque for PSS on the vehicle fuel economy was analyzed with FTP-75 cold start mode.

      • 공공 데이터를 이용한 UAV 자동경로비행

        움직이는 UAV는 많은 위치에너지와 운동에너지를 가지므로 지상으로 추락하는 경우 많은 충격량을 가질 수 있다. 이는 인명피해로 연결될 수 있기 때문에 본 논문에서는 UAV 비행경로 상의 인구밀집 지역을 위험구역으로 정의하였다. 기존의 UAV 경로비행은 사용자에 의해 미리 설정된 경로만을 운행하는 수동적인 형태였다. 일부 UAV는 경로비행 중 장애물을 회피하는 시스템 등 안전기능을 포함하고 있지만, 비행환경변화에 대응하기에는 부족하다. UAV 경로비행에 공공 데이터를 활용할 경우, 위험구역을 검출하고 회피비행을 수행할 수 있어서 비행환경변화에 대한 대응이 향상될 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 수집된 데이터를 활용하여 위험구역을 회피하는 최적경로 비행 방안을 제안한다. 실험 결과, 제안하는 자동경로비행에서 목적지와 목적지에 따른 경로를 지정할 경우, 위험지역을 스스로 판단하여 최적 우회경로로 비행하는 것을 확인하였다. 추후 회피방안에 따라 비행하여 획득하는 영상의 질적 만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안을 연구할 예정이다.

        MPEG-4 시스템 기반의 다시점 동영상 시점 전환 서비스

        현재 MPEG(Moving Picture Expert Group)은 1998년에 시작되어 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에 관한 압축 및 표현기술에 대한 표준규격을 제정하는 기구로, 그간 MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG-7 규격에 대한 표준 규격을 제정해 왔다. MPEG의 표준들 중에서 3차원 비디오와 관련된 규격으로는 1996년 MPEG-2 Video 표준에 포함된 Multi-View Profile을 들 수 있다. 하지만 MPEG-2 Multi-View Profile은 주 대상이 양안시점 영상에 대한 압축규격으로, 다시점 비디오 기술을 만족시키기에는 충분하지 않다. 그리고 MPEG-2는 시점 변경에 대한 기술이 없어 다시점 비디오를 이용한 시점전환(interactive)과 같은 서비스를 제공하지 못하는 한계를 지니고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 MPEG-4 시스템에 추가적으로 비디오 스위칭을 위해 특정시점을 기술할 수 있는 구조를 제안한다. Moving Picture Expert Group(MPEG) is the organization foundedin 1998 to establish the standards for compressing and expressing the multimedia contents. The organization has established the technological standards such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and MPEG-7. As the 3D video related standards, there is Multiview Profile which is included in the MPEG-2 video of 1996. However, as the MPEG-2 multiview profile is the standard for compressing the videos from two viewpoints on the object, it is not enough to meet the requirement of multiviewvideo technology. In addition, it does not have the technology on the viewpoint switching that it does not provide the services such as the user interaction. This paper proposes the structure in which the specific viewpoint can be described for video switching in addition to the current MPEG-4 system.

        적응적 블록탐색기법을 적용한 향상된 H.264 부호화 방법

        H.264/AVC는 프로파일에 정의되어 있는 것과 같이 다른 표준안들보다 우수한 압축효율과 다양한 특성들을 가지고 있지만, 가변블록 크기로 최적 부호화 모드를 결정하여 움직임 추정을 실행함으로써 부호화 시간이 증가하고 복잡도 또한 훨씬 증가하게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 H.264 부호화 과정 중화질 손실을 최소한으로 줄이면서 소모되는 시간을 단축시키는 적응적으로 블록모드와 탐색영역을 설정하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 실험결과 화질의 열화와 계산량을 측정하기 위해서 PSNR과 움직임추정 시간을 알아보았다. 그 결과, 제안하는 방법이 기존의 H.264 전역 탐색 기법과 비교하여 화질은 거의 비슷하게 유지하면서 실험한 모든 영상의 경우 모든 프레임에서 평균 400∼500ms 정도의 부호화 시간이 단축됨을 보였다. H.264/AVC defined in profile has various characteristics and better coding efficiency than other standards. Its encoding time, However, has increased and complexity has also increased much more by deciding optimal coding mode as variable block size and carrying out motion estimation. This paper propose the method of adaptive block mode to reduce the loss time and setting up search range with reducing the video quality in the process of coding. We examined PSNR and motion estimation time in order to measure both degradation of video-qualityand computation. As a result, this method showed that average coding time is shortened as 400∼500ms in every frame in the case of all experimented videos, keeping video quality nearly similar, compared to existing full search algorithm.

        동아시아의 전쟁기념관과 역사 갈등 : '中國人民抗日戰爭紀念館’을 중심으로

        It is necessary to have a systematic understanding of historical memories to better comprehend the whole picture of historical conflicts and find ways to achieve reconciliation between the Northeast Asian countries. In that regard, one must understand what the media for the formation of the collective memory are as well as the mechanism of their activation. This study compared war memorials in Northeast Asian countries, focusing mostly on the Memorial Museum of the Chinese People's Anti­Japanese War. For comparison, it discussed the Independence Hall of Korea. And I briefly mentioned the Hiroshima Peace Park of Japan. The War of Resistance Museum in China and the Independence Hall of Korea were built out of the need aroused by the controversy over the Japanese history textbooks in 1982. The flow of historical disputes and anti­Japanese sentiments are contained in the exhibition narratives. The hostile narratives concerning Japan are likely to affect the collective historical memory and escalate into another historical conflict. War memorials, which are the sites of historical memory, serve as media for activation of the mechanism of historical conflicts. This shows that the conflict structure formed in the period following early modern times is presented at war memorials. That is because the establishment of a memorial is subordinate to the political and social requirements concerning historical memory. Such characteristics can also be found at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and the Hiroshima Peace Park in Japan. The war memorials covered in this paper are all ethnocentric, exclusive and lopsided toward political and social requirements as regards remembrance of the past history. Thus, they serve as media which encourage historical disputes between the countries. This is the most serious problem of the historical memory facing the people of the three Northeast Asian countries. This problem can never be settled without the three countries reaching for reconciliation through cooperation. This paper proposes the following alternatives from such a perspective: First, it is necessary to think first about whose interest the memory commemorated by a war memorial actually serves. Second, the diversity of historical memory should be secured and historical memory should be briskly communicated so that historical memory may not be influenced by political and social requirements. Third, a certain process of oblivion is necessary to secure the diversity of historical memory. It is necessary to maintain a good distance from bygones, as they only involve foregoing generations.

        Recently, interest for the thermal comfort is increasing as recognition of automobile is changing from transportation to living space. Thermal comfort, emotional index about satisfaction of human body in thermal environment, evaluates “thermally comfortable” when physical effort of human body is minimum for adaption in thermal environment. The present study performed computational evaluation and investigation for the effect of radiation heat transfer on thermal comfort. In this study, we consider PMV, PPD and Equivalent Temperature method.

        The electromagnetic valve (EMV) actuation system is to be considered as a new technology for the improvement of efficiency and the reduction of emissions in 51 engines. It can give us more flexible controllability of valve events compared to conventional variable valve actuation devices. However. it needs more powerful and efficient actuator design and its control in order to apply to mass production engine.<br/> This paper presents the effects of design and operating parameters to meet the static and dynamic performances of actuator. Employing the finite clement method (FEM). the magnetic fill" flow pattern and the magnetic force were analyzed for the several cases of core and armature design. The prototype actuator was developed and experimented on test bench. And, the experimental results shows relatively good agreements with analyzed results for the actuator design<br/>
