The purpose of this study was to identify future research tasks for Gestalt counseling through systematic analysis targeting domestic dissertations and journals in order to examine research trends of Gestalt counseling in detail in Korea. To this end, this study researched topics as the analysis framework for 139 papers related to Gestalt counseling published in domestic dissertations and journals from 2013 to 2023. Characteristics of the thesis, researcher characteristics, research subjects, and research methods were set as the analysis framework. They were analyzed by three raters and one supervisor. For statistical analysis, frequency analysis, cross-analysis, and multiple cross-analysis were performed. As a result of the analysis, the number of papers was the highest in 2015. It gradually decreased from 2019. There were more journals than dissertations. Universities were the most affiliated with researchers. Adults were the most dominant subjects of studies. As for the data type of research methodology, researcher-collected data showed a high proportion. Quantitative research had a high proportion of research methods. Analysis of variance was the most common one used in quantitative research and content analysis was the most common one used in qualitative research. In addition, various approaches of qualitative research such as narrative, consensus qualitative research, and self-cultural technology were increased. Main topics of research were personality and adaptation. Among them, adaptation and emotion-related subtopics were the most common. Based on these results, we examined the academic identity of domestic Gestalt counseling and suggested future development directions for Gestalt counseling research through in-depth analysis focusing on research issues.

최근 한국의 정치체계 속에서 시민사회가 활성화되면서 NGO에 대한 기대가 커진 만큼 NGO의 사회적 역할 내지 기능에 관해 보다 체계적이고 심도 있는 고찰과 논의가 요구되고 있다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 먼저 이론적 수준에서 NGO의 역할유형에 관한 선행연구를 고찰하고, NGO의 역할을 대외적 역할과 대내적 역할로 유형화한 후 경험적 분석을 위한 틀을 도출한다. 그리고 한국 NGO의 활동가들을 대상으로 NGO의 역할유형별 역할달성정도, 역할인식 및 역할기대, 역할유형별 정부와의 관련성 정도 등에 관해 총괄적인 분석과 더불어 NGO 유형간(정치ㆍ경제ㆍ개혁 NGO, 사회ㆍ복지ㆍ여성 NGO, 환경 NGO), 지역간(서울의 전국조직과 광주의 지역조직)의 차이를 분석하였다. 이러한 경험적 분석 결과 쟁점발굴자와 계몽자의 역할은 잘 수행한 반면 이익표출자의 역할은 저조한 편이며, 견제자와 쟁점발굴자의 역할을 중요하게 인식하고 있고, 쟁점발굴자의 역할을 수행할 때 정부와의 관계가 높은 것으로 인식되고 있다. 이러한 총괄적인 내용과 더불어 몇몇 항목별로 NGO 유형간, 지역간 유의미한 차이가 나타난다는 사실을 발견할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 경험적 발견들은 한국 NGO의 역할정립과 발전방향에 대한 다양한 시사점을 제공하고 있다. This article aims to empirically analyze the role patterns of NGOs in Korea. In recent years, civic society has been active in Korea's political system. This situation needs a systematic and an in-depth study about the roles of NGOs as major groups of civic society. Therefore, we reviewed the theoretical issues pertaining to the roles of NGOs and formulated the framework of analysis. In this study, the roles of NGOs were patterned as follows: issue advocacy, innovation (reformation), check (criticism), policy making participation, intermediation (arbitration), service supplying, spokesman, interest articulation, enlightenment. The result of empirical analysis shows that the roles of issue advocacy and enlightenment are accomplished well, but the role of interest articulation is lower. The roles of check and issue advocacy is recognized importantly to the NGO actors. When NGOs playa role of issue advocacy, the close relationship between government and NGO is referred to the NGO actors. These findings concretely show that a significant difference does exist among political-economic NGOs, social-welfare NGOs and environmental NGOs. These empirical findings supply many implications for the role and the development orientation of NGOs in Korea.

민ㆍ관 중심주체들의 시각에서 바라본 지방 대도시 도심재생사업 평가

This study was carried out with a critical mind that how the main bodies of the private and governmental organizations evaluated the urban regeneration works now under way for the Gwangju Metropolitan City where the degeneration of the inner city is worsening. I would like to examine the urban regeneration program on the level of its importance and project-worthiness from the viewpoint of the main bodies of the private and governmental organizations, that is, private business owners and government officials, and present my opinion on several policy plans for the urban regeneration they suggested. Regarding urban regeneration of big cities which has been referred to as a political issue and election pledge so far, the main body of the private and governmental organizations commonly recognized the importance of the urban regeneration but negatively evaluated about its project-worthiness. However, there were differences of viewpoints among the main bodies in their problem awareness and solution of the city problem. The main bodies seem to have consensus on the necessity for the urban, regeneration in which the private and governmental organizations jointly participate. Therefore, a detailed plan should be presented about proper role-sharing through serious elaboration and the partnership with the members of the community about the degeneration of the urban center, renewed from the current way of urban regeneration program. In addition, the weight of the physical environment-revitalization should be diversified to make the best of the functions and characteristics of the urban center and I think it is desirable to practice the urban regeneration program which reflects the culture and sentiment of the region.
