In this paper, transient characteristics of the Punch Through Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (PT-IGBT) have been studied. On the contrary to Non-Punch Through Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor(NPT-IGBT), it has a buffer layer and reduces switching power loss. It has a simple drive circuit controlled by the gate voltage of the MOSFET and low on-state resistance of the bipolar junction transistor. The transient characteristics of the PT-IGBT have been analyzed analytically. Excess minority carrier and charge distribution in active base region, the rate of anode voltage with time are expressed analytically by adding the influence of buffer layer. The experimental data is obtained from manufacturer. The theoretical predictions of the analysis have been compared with the experimental data obtained from the measurement of a device(600 V, 15 A) and show good agreement.

As the power density and switching frequency increase, thermal analysis of power electronics system becomes imperative. The analysis provides valuable information on the semiconductor rating, long-term reliability. In this paper, thermal distribution of the Non Punchthrough(NPT) Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor has been studied. For analysis of thermal distribution, we obtained results by using finite element simulator, Ansys and thermal distributions form experiments.

In this paper, we proposed an analytical model for TFT which has series of the polycrystalline structures. An average speed is defined as carrier speed by the electric field. The effective square is suggested as the area of grain without depletion for the changed grain size. First, physical parameters such as grain size, channel lenght and trap density, have been changed to prove the validity of the average speed model and the value of the effective square has been estimated through drain-source current.

In this paper, the gate leakage current is first calculated using the experimental method between gate and drain by opening source electrode. the gate to drain current has been obtained with ground source. The difference between two currents has been tested and proves that the electric field generated by channel charge effect against the image force lowering.

최근 우리나라에서도 지진 발생빈도가 급격히 증가하면서 지진에 대한 관심도가 높아지고 있다. 지진발생 시 대응과 복구도 중요하지만, 관리 취약점을 사전에 찾아내어 예방 및 사전 대비 활동을 수행하는 것이 필요하다. 한국수자원공사에서는 지진으로부터 안전한 시설관리를 위해 지진가속도계측기를 운영하여 실시간 지진데이터를 수집하고 있으며, 대외기관에서 지진데이터를 활용할 수 있도록 데이터를 전송하고 있다. 운영 중인 지진감시시스템의 관리 취약점을 사전에 줄이고자 지진데이터의 수집지연시간을 최소화하고, 빅데이터를 활용한 지진데이터의 실시간 품질분석 체계·기반 구축으로 고품질의 데이터 생산이 가능하다. 이에 따라 댐 안전관리 및 고품질의 지진데이터를 확보하여 대외기관에 신속한 데이터를 제공함으로써 지진재해로부터 국민의 생명과 재산을 보호할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Recently, the frequency of earthquakes is rapidly increasing in Korea. As a result, concerns about earthquakes are increasing. Response and recovery in the event of an earthquake are also important, but it is necessary to identify management vulnerabilities in advance and perform prevention and preparation activities. K-water collects real-time earthquake data by operating an earthquake accelerator to manage facilities safe from earthquakes. In addition, real-time data is transmitted to external organizations. Therefore, various efforts are being made to improve the quality of data. In order to reduce the management vulnerability of the earthquake monitoring system in advance, high-quality data can be produced by minimizing the delay time of data collection and establishing a real-time quality analysis system and base for earthquake data using big data. Accordingly, it is expected to protect the lives and property of the people from earthquake disasters by securing dam safety management and high-quality earthquake data and providing rapid data to external institutions.
자연광 스펙트럼 분포에 의한 단결정 PV 모듈의 전기적 특성

Recently, characteristic research by the changes in the spectrum, one of the factors that influence analysis of maximum output power of PV module, has been studied. In this paper, a one-day intensity of solar irradiation, change of spectrums with time and electrical output for spectrums are analyzed. As a result, blue-rich wavelength compared with red-rich wavelength has large variation of solar irradiance with time, so we recognized that change of solar irradiance is dominated by variation of blue~rich wavelength. Also in same intensity of solar irradiance, electrical output in blue-rich wavelength was 3-8 % higher than one in red-rich wavelength.
