사람들은 수로 또는 하천에서 취수를 목적으로 하천을 횡단하는 보와 같은 수중 구조물을 설치하여 물을 임시 저류시켜 사용하는 방법을 이용하고 있다. 그러나 구조물에 의하여 하천의 흐름이 정체되고 토사 퇴적 및 수질악화 등의 문제점을 발생하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 저층수 배출장치가 있는 고무보와 저층수 배출장치가 없는 가동보의 수질을 비교분석하였다. 분석결과 저층수 배출장치가 있는 고무보가 저층수 배출장치가 없는 가동보에 비해 표층수 기준으로 BOD 8.9∼36.1%, COD 12.3∼18.9%, SS 0∼22.1%, T-N 0∼41%, T-P 0∼37%, 저층수 기준으로 BOD 10.6∼24.4%, COD 2.6∼16.7%, SS 16.7∼49.0%, T-N 13∼37%, T-P 20∼38%로 전 항목에서 수질 개선 효과가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. For the purpose of taking water from river and intake channel, many weirs and structures have been installed across water flow and such structures have been used for temporally holding of water. However, many problems such as stagnation of river flow, sediment deposition and water quality worsening have been ocurred by these structures. In this study, we conducted comparative analysis for quality of water from rubber weir equipped with bottom water emissions device and operational weir without it. Results show that rubber weir equipped with bottom water emissions device has been more effective than operational weir without it on water quality improvement surface waters by BOD 8.9∼36.1%, COD 12.3~18.9%, SS 0∼22.1%, T-N 0∼41%, T-P 0∼37% and bottom waters by BOD 10.6∼24.4%, COD 2.6∼16.7%, SS 16.7∼49.0%, T-N 13∼37%, T-P 20∼38 at all point.
낙동강 지류하천에서 TOC와 COD 유기물의 분포 비교

This study was conducted to suggest the concentration distribution of organic matters in 348 tributaries of Nakdong River, and to review the validity of the conversion of organic matter indexes. The average concentration of organic matters in the tributaries was TOC 2.4 mgC/L, DOC 2.1 mgC/L, COD 1.0 mgC/L, respectively. DOC ratio to TOC is 87% and COD ratio is 44%. First tributaries shows higher organic pollution than second tributaries. The correlation between TOC and COD was relatively high as 0.796 (p < 0.01, n = 670). Based upon these results, a regression analysis was conducted. The results showed that TOC concentration was 2.5 times higher than COD concentration. In conclusion, it is appropriate to use TOC for the management of all organic matters. Furthermore, there is a need to build organic matter-related Databases for more rivers so as to establish TOC standards and manage the water quality.

To reduce backpressure for improving engine power in exhaust system, a large difference of pressure is required, but this is in conflict with the requirement for reducing exhaust noise that needs a small pressure difference. In this paper, the controllable muffler designed by simplifying the structure of the exhaust system has a low backpressure and a proper sound specification to the rotation of engine. The exhaust system in conventional studies has been designed to have maximum noise reduction over the whole driving domain, but due to its complex structure this led to increased backpressure. If the muffler is designed according to the driving frequency, which is a dominant noise component in stationary driving speed, the backpressure is reduced due to the simplified structure of the muffler. Furthermore, a multi-mode muffler able to change structure with varied driving speed was designed.
다채널 제어알고리듬을 이용한 음향 가진된 밀폐계 평판의 능동진동제어

This paper presents the multi-channel active vibration control of a flexible plate of the acoustically loaded enclosure. The flexible plate was excited acoustically with sinusoidal and white noise input. The control was performed by two piezo ceramic actuators and two accelerometers. The experimental results were compared with the single channel control results. In the case of white noise input, 20 dB of vibration reduction was achieved below 300Hz frequency range. The experimental results demonstrate that multi-channel filtered-x LMS algorithm is effective than single-channel filtered-x LMS algorithm in active vibration control of plate.
