Traumatic injury to the hand often leads to soft tissue defects with exposed tendons, bones, or joints. Though many new flap have been introduced, the choice of flap that would be best for the patient depends on such factors as the site, size, and degree of wounds. Additionally the selected surgical method should be yielded cosmetic and functional superiority by the one-staged reconstruction. In our experience, small to medium sized soft tissue defect with bone and tendon exposure of hand can be resurfaced with an arterialized venous free flap from the volar aspect of distal forearm. Wide and deep defects of the hand can be covered with a sensory cutaneous free flap such as the medial plantar free flap, dorsalis pedis free flap, and radial forearm free flap. Specialized flap such as wrap-around flap, toe-to-finger transfer, onychocutaneous free flap can be used for the recontruction of defect on the thumb and finger. Based on the above considerations and our clinical experience of 60 free flap cases of the hand, the various methods for the proper repair of soft tissue defects of the hand are described. And we obtained satisfactory functional and cosmetic results with 95% success rate of free flap.
경영평가제도의 시행이 공기업 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 수익성을 중심으로 -

현행 공공기관 경영평가제도(이하 경영평가제도)는 시행 후 상당 기간이 경과하였음에도 불구하고 그 실효성에 대한 논란이 지속되고 있다. 이러한 현실에 주목한 본 논문은 경영평가제도가 경영성과 향상에 실질적으로 기여하는지를 공기업의 효율성, 특히 수익성을 중심으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 기존에 성과평가를 받아오던 공기업과 2007년부터 성과평가대상에 신규 편입된 공기업을 대상으로, 2002년부터 2015년까지의 자료를 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 이중차분법(DID: differences in differences)을 응용하여 자료를 분석한 결과, 통계적으로 유의미한 수준에서 경영평가의 시행이 수익성 측면의 효율성 개선에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 견고성 확인을 추가적으로 실시한 결과, 앞선 분석과 일관된 결과가 도출됨을 확인하였다. 종합해 볼 때, 본 연구의 분석결과는 경영평가제도가 효율성 관점에서 공기업 경영성과 향상에 유용한 도구라는 주장에 대한 실증적 근거를 제공한다. The Management Evaluation System for Public Institutions (hereafter MES) has been in place for more than three decades, and yet there are still controversies over its efficacy. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether MES does contribute to the efficiency of state-owned enterprises (hereafter SOEs), focusing on an important but rarely studied dimension―profitability. A differences in differences (DID) method was employed for analysis. Data were collected from two groups of SOEs over the period 2002―2015: the treatment group consisted of the ones that had been newly subject to MES in 2007, while the control group was made up of the ones included in the system throughout the entire period. The regression results showed that MES positively affected the profitabilities of SOEs. A robustness check also confirmed this finding. In sum, this study provides empirical evidence supporting the efficacy of MES.
LRP(Layer-wise Relevance Propagation)를 이용한 딥러닝 데이터세트 건전성 확인에 대한 연구

In the nuclear field, deep learning is highly expected to improve not only safety, but also the economy. Deep learning is a class of machine learning based on learning data representation, as opposed to task-specific algorithms, and is based on statistical methods. It analyzes collected dataset to determine meaningful features and predicts future data. However, deep learning has a disadvantage that is depended on trained dataset. If the wrong data is included in dataset, deep learning can make wrong decisions. Thus, a method for examining dataset quality is required. We propose applying layer-wise relevance propagation (LRP) algorithm to check the dataset quality. We additionally implement LRP algorithm on our deep-learning model and check the LRP pattern for each input. According to this inspection, we find wrong data in dataset and improve the dataset quality.
영상 특징 추출을 위한 내장형 FAST 하드웨어 가속기

특징 추출 알고리즘은 영상 내에서 중요한 특징을 추출하기 위해 실시간 영상 처리 응용 분야에서 활용된다. 특히, 특징 추출 알고리즘은 추적 및 식별의 목적으로 다양한 영상처리 알고리즘에 특징 정보를 제공하기 위해서 활용되며, 주로 영상처리 전처리 단계에서 구현되고 있다. 광범위한 응용 분야에 이용되는 특징 추출 알고리즘의 처리 속도를 높인다면 혼합되어 사용될 다른 알고리즘 처리 소요 시간의 여유를 확보 할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 특징 추출 알고리즘이 적용된 영상 처리 응용 분야의 실시간 요건을 만족시키기 용이하기 때문에 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 특징 추출 기법을 고속으로 처리하기 위해 FPGA 기반의 하드웨어 가속기를 제안한다. 하드웨어 가속기 구현에 사용된 E. Rosten의 Feature from Accelerated Segment Test 알고리즘과 디지털 로직으로 구현한 하드웨어 가속기의 구조와 동작 절차에 대해 기술하였다. 설계한 하드웨어 가속기는 ModelSim을 이용해 동작 및 성능을 검증하였고, Xilinx Vertex Ⅳ FPGA 기반으로 로직을 합성해 구현 비용을 계산하였다. 제안한 하드웨어 가속기를 구현하기 위해 2,217개의 Flip Flop, 5,034개의 LUT, 2,833개의 Slice, 그리고 18개의 Block RAM을 사용하였으며, 640x480 크기의 영상으로부터 954개의 특징을 추출하는데 3.06 ms의 시간이 소요되어 기존의 결과보다 구현 비용 면에서의 우월함이 확인되었다. Various feature extraction algorithms are widely applied to real-time image processing applications for extracting significant features from images. Feature extraction algorithms are mostly combined with image processing algorithms mostly for image tracking and recognition. Feature extraction function is used to supply feature information to the other image processing algorithms and it is mainly implemented in a preprocessing stage. Nowadays, image processing applications are faced with embedded system implementation for a real-time processing. In order to satisfy this requirement, it is necessary to reduce execution time so as to improve the performance. Reducing the time for executing a feature extraction function dose not only extend the execution time for the other image processing algorithms, but it also helps satisfy a real-time requirement. This paper explains FAST (Feature from Accelerated Segment Test algorithm) of E. Rosten and presents FPGA-based embedded hardware accelerator architecture. The proposed acceleration scheme can be implemented by using approximately 2,217 Flip Flops, 5,034 LUTs, 2,833 Slices, and 18 Block RAMs in the Xilinx Vertex Ⅳ FPGA. In the Modelsim-based simulation result, the proposed hardware accelerator takes 3.06 ms to extract 954 features from a image with 640x480 pixels and this result shows the cost effectiveness of the propose scheme.

The congenital epulis is a rare benign lesion which has an uncertain histogenesis. But, recently it is suggested that it derives either from histiocytic/mesenchymal cells or myofibroblasts which based on many immunohistochemical study. Neumann first described congenital granular cell tumor which developed from the gingiva as congenital epulis in 1871. Epulis means "on the gum" or "gumboil" in Greek word. Congenital epulis is located exclusively on the anterior or lateral alveoiar ridge with marked predilection for female infants. The mass was covered with a nonpapillated stratified squamous epithelium of uniform thickness. There was no pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia. Granular cells have abundant cytoplasm with distinct borders and mitotic figures were rarely found. Six days old female neonate who had 2 ×3 cm sized mass with 2 ×2 cm neck in the gingival and anterior alveolar ridge of mandible was operated by simple excision and coverage by local mucosal flap. After two years she had normal teeth eruption and no recurrence.
