        가려움증의 기전에 대한 최신 논의 고찰 - 최근의 연구 동향과 위장관계와의 연관성

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to review the latest discussions on the mechanism of Itching. Methods : Articles that reviewed the mechanism of itching were searched from Pubmed (January 2016 to June 2021). In addition, review articles discussing the gastrointestinal tract and the mechanisms of pruritus were searched seperately. Results : The articles are classified into three categories. These categories are the classification according to the passage of time (acute, chronic), the immune factors involved (inflammatory, non-inflammatory), and the neurophysiological mechanism (pruritoceptive itching, neuropathic itching, neurogenic itching, psychogenic itching). In each category, the articles over the past five years are summarized and reviewed. Also, how the status of the gastrointestinal tract is reflected in itching was discussed in terms of leaky gut syndrome, neuro/gastrointestinal peptides, and gut microbiota. Conclusions : This review introduces the recently discussed mechanism of itching, and in particular, examines how the gastrointestinal tract is related to skin itching. Based on these considerations, it is expected that more diverse therapeutic approaches can be explored in the future.

        직업과 운동유무의 차이가 남성의 하지 근육량에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the this study was to investigate the effects of occupation and exercise on muscle mass of the men leg muscle groups. As test subjects, 123 males at the age ranging from 20 to 84 were used. The subjects were grouped by age intervals of 10 years. The cross-sectional area(CSA) of muscular Psoas major and femoral muscle(extensor) was measured in the subjects using magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). The questionnaire responded a mode of living form composed of bygone job, activities and experience of exercise. As a result of study, the CSA of Psoas major showed a significantly lower value from 45's(32.8±4.5㎠, 20's yer vs. 27.4±6.1㎠, p<.05), from 45's in the extensor (72.8±4.7㎠, 20's yer vs. 63.6±6.7㎠, p<.05). Many of the elderly subjects showing a higher value than the average one were engaged in agriculture by occupation containing high-intensity quick anaerobic actions though not having their exercising habit at all. These results indicate the importance of high-intensity quick actions such as resistance training to prevent the cross-sectional Psoas major area from diminishing with aging.

        중 · 후기 고령자의 상지근력에 영향을 미치는 관련인자 조명

        This study was aimed at investigating the correlation between a person’s physical strength and the thickness of his/her upper body parts. So, we conducted fitness tests and measured the muscle and fat thickness of upper body, targeting 117 women (Group of 47-64, Group of 65-87). Measurement items were their arm power, sit-up exercise and the muscle and fat thickness(of anterior part of upper arm, posterior part of upper arm, anterior part of lower arm, abdominal part). As a result, the group of 47-64 was generally superior to the group of 65-87 in the fitness test. In the latter group, the associated items with the anterior part of upper arm(muscle thickness) were the extension movement, the flexion movement and the strength of grasp. In that group, the strength of grasp showed significant difference in the posterior part of upper arm(muscle thickness), the anterior part of upper arm(fat thickness), the anterior part of lower arm(fat thickness), the abdominal part(fat thickness) and the back part(fat thickness). But, in the former group, the fitness test items did not mostly show correlation with the anterior and posterior part of upper arm(muscle thickness), the abdominal part(muscle thickness) and the back part(muscle thickness). In conclusion, we think that several specific factors affect the muscle thickness of upper arm in older ages but that various factors complexly affect the muscle thickness of upper arm in younger ages. We think that more detailed studies will be needed in the future.

        고령자의 신체능력 요인이 수축기 혈압에 미치는 영향

        This study investigated the effects of the physical fitness capacity on the Artery Compliance(Artery C), aimed at women aged 50 or older who have been engaged in agriculture for the past several decades. As a result, based on the 50-59 aged group, all values significantly decreased in the items for physical fitness measurements in each age group, but in the case of Artery C, significant decrease was not shown. Furthermore, in the correlation results between the measurement items, a significant correlation appeared between Artery C and some physical fitness items, only in the 50-59 and 60-69 aged groups (for 50-59 aged group, Artery C vs. standing by one leg with eyes closed, p<.01; 60-69 aged group, Artery C vs. physical activity level or number of walking steps, p<.05). Examining based on the results of this study, why Artery C did not decrease as age increased is more likely that the agricultural activities in the past may have affected the vascular elasticity and maintained in a healthy state; on the other hand, the number of samples of the subjects is small. In order to improve these issues, it is considered that additional data collection and analysis should be needed.

        지방감소인자의 전사물질 섭취와 유산소운동이 여자대학생의 체지방과 혈중지질 농도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the female college student’s body fat on the blood lipid concentration. This study targeted 27 students who submitted the consent form to this study among freshmen in D University in Seoul, and 13 ones conducted only exercise as a contrast group, 14 ones were the test group which took in water containing the information of the fat decrease factor and conducted exercise. The measured items were physical composition, blood lipid, and leptin. The exercise program of total 8 weeks was conducted(twice a week, 2 hours per time, gall game such as soccer, basketball, and soft ball, and aerobic exercise, swimming). While the contrast group did not represent the significant difference before and after the test in all measuring items consequently, the figure of the weight girth and hip girth decreased statistically significantly in the exercise group(p〈.001). On the other hand, the figure of the weight(p〈.05), fat mass(p〈.01), and BMI(p〈.001) increased significantly. When it came to the blood ingredient change, the Triglyceride figure increased from pre-exercise 58.6±13.10 to post-exercise 73.8±27.31 in the contrast group so the statistical significance difference appeared(p〈.05). The big change did not appear in other items. On the contrary, when it came to the exercise group, the figure of T. Chol(p〈.001), Triglyceride(p〈.001), and LDL Chol(p〈.001) increased statistically significantly. The satisfactory result was not obtained only by the indirect intake without taking in the substance of the real fat decomposition factors. Nevertheless, it is judged the result of this study is noticeable to understand energy medicine, and the detailed verification should be done on the basis of the future nutritional management.

        노인의 일상생활 중 보행수가 발꿈치 뼈 강도 및 하퇴근 면적에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the this study was to investigate the effects of Walking steps rate during everyday on muscle mass of the crus and the bone powerfulness of the calcaneus in the elderly people. As test subjects, 35 males and 52 females at the age ranging from 62 to 79 were used. The cross-sectional area(CSA) of tibialis anterior and trioeps surae was measured in the subjects using magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). Walking steps during daily life was measured using life-recorder. The osteo sono-assessment index of calcaneus were determined using ultrasound parameter. In females, a significant co-relationship was observed between the osteo sono-assessment index and walking steps rate(r=267, p<.05), and weight load index(r=374, p<.05). These results indicate that walking exercise was necessary higher intensity for bone mineral density of the crus than increasing the number of walking steps during everyday in female.

        중ㆍ고령자를 대상으로 실시한 상ㆍ하지 피하지방층과 근육량의 비교검토

        The object of this study is to compare and review the upper and lower limbs subcutaneous fat layer and muscle quantity targeting the middle and old age people. The subjects are 138 women age from 50 to 83 and the subject groups were divided into 6 groups and the subcutaneous fat thickness and muscle quantity of the upper and lower limbs were measured using the B-mode ultrasound. As a result, the thickness of the subcutaneous fat of biceps brachii, thigh muscle, and leg muscle of the group age 55-59 all increased compared to the group age 50-54(p<.01). Meanwhile, in case of muscle thickness, the thickness of rectus femoris rather than biceps brachii significantly reduced in the group age 55-59(p<.05). This study showed the result that the subcutaneous fat layer increased and the muscle quantity decreased following the age increase, and especially the muscle quantity reduction of the lower limbs(the front thigh) was more remarkable than the upper limbs. The result of this study suggests that it is possible to measure the subcutaneous fat layer and muscle quantity by the simple supersonic method without using CT or MRI targeting the person and it is necessary to reinforce the lower limb-muscular strength training for the aged.

        노인을 대상으로 한 자율적 복합훈련의 효과와 개인차에 관한 연구

        The purpose of the this study was to investigate the individual difference and the effects of autonomous combined exercise in the elderly people. As test subjects, 22 males and 30 females at the age ranging from 60 to 76 participated in the 13-week exercise that consisted of endurance training and strength training. The estimated VO₂max, maximal isometric knee extension/flexion force and muscle CSA of quadriceps was measured before and after the exercise. The estimated VO2max was significantly increased by 13.6%(p<.05; range -9.7~28.4%) in males. Also The maximal isometric extension force increase significantly by 21.8%(p<.01; range -25.3~42.5%) in males and 13.0%(p<.05; range -30.4~48.1% in females, although the maximal isometric flexion force did not increased significantly. When the subjects were divided into three groups(The criteria for exercise participate days), the individual difference for exercise effects did not show significant difference between three groups. These results indicate that individual difference on estimated VO₂max and maximal isometric extension force was affected by other factors(etc, exercise period, exercise duration, Low-intensity exercise).
