This study was performed to investigate the factors related to vibration of temporomandibular joint during mandibular opening movement. For this study, 144 patients with temporomandibular disorders were randomly selected. Angle's classification, lateral guidance pattern, range of maximal mouth opening, preferred chewing side, and affected side were investigated clinically. Mandibular torque rotational movement during opening was recorded with $BioEGN^{(R)}$ and vibration of temporomandibular joint during opening was recorded with $Sonopak^{(R)}$. After clinical diagnosis was made, visual analogue scale(VAS) was used for evaluation of clinical progress of the subject's chief complaints. The author calculated VAS treatment index(VAS Ti) from the record of VAS. The more VAS Ti was, the less remission of subjective symptom was, The data were analyzed with SAS/Stat program and the results of this study were as follows: 1. There were no significant difference in all the variables of joint vibration by age and sex. 2. Integral and peak amplitude in patients of Angle's class I were higher than those of class II or III patients. Integral in patients of group function was higher than that in patients of canine guidance or other types of lateral excursion. 3. As to Angle's classification or lateral guidance type, there were almost not significant difference between subgroup of same class or type and subgroup of different class or type on both sides. And there were also almost not difference between one side and the other side related to preferred chewing side or affected side. 4. Patients with disk displacement with reduction showed higher value of integral and peak amplitude than any other patients. 5. Joint vibration variables significantly correlated with VAS Ti of pain. with clinical range of mouth opening, and with ingredients of mandibular torque rotational movement.

An electric railway system is composed of high-tech subsystems, among which main electric equipments such as transformers, converter and traction motors are critical components determining the performance of rolling stock. We developed a measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of performances of Korean High Speed Train. The measurement system is composed of software part and hardware part. Perfect interface between multi-users is possible. A new method to measure temperature was applied to the measurement system. By using the system, measurement and evaluation for the performance of electric equipments in Korean High Speed Train was conducted during test running.

카메라를 내장한 휴대용 단말기의 보급과 인터넷 및 무선 네트워크의 급속한 확산으로 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경을 구체화한 새로운 서비스들이 등장하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 4개 분야의 학제간 공동연구를 통해 기존 PC 기반의 인터넷 컴퓨팅 환경에서 적용하기 어려웠던 U-Campus 서비스를 제안한다. 이는 UTOPIA 프로젝트의 일부로서 휴대용 단말기와 이미지 기반 센서인 컬러코드를 이용한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅형 캠퍼스 서비스이다. 현재 테스트 베드를 구축하고 U-Profile, U-Messaging 및 U-Campus Tour Guide 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 학생, 교수, 교직원 및 학교 방문자들은 U-Campus환경 하에서 다양한 정보를 PDA, 휴대전화, 스마트폰 등 휴대용 단말기를 통해서 언제, 어디서나 자연스럽게 제공 받을 수 있다.

KHST(Korean High-Speed Train, 350㎞/h), composed of 7 cars that are 2 power cars, 2 motorized car and 3 trailer cars, has been developed and is under on-line test. To verify hte design requirements about the functions and traction performances of this train, KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute} decided to evaluate traction performances of the train during on-line test. For this purpose, such as torque, velocity, voltage and current, must be measured. KRRI has developed the measurement system that can be measured vast and various signals effectively. In this paper, we introduce traction performances of KHST. The traction measurement items are focused on the verification of motor block performances.

For the research, we developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation. The software controls the hardware of the measurement data and acts as a interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, we studied performances of the auxiliary block for high-speed railway vehicle. In order to performance these works, the conversion system was developed. U sing this system, we obtained the important results, such as voltage values for the battery charger and auxiliary block. Also, we diagnosed the faults and performed the evaluation for auxiliary block using the measurement system and data.
