        분변토 Biofilter를 이용한 Trimethylamine의 제거

        Trimethylamine, dimethylamine, methylamine 등의 아민류를 분해할 수 있는 미생물을 TMA를 성장기질로 사용한 농화배양으로부터 분리하였다. 분리된 균은 Methylobacterium sp. T32에 속하는 균으로 동정되었다. 이 균은 메탄올, 메틸아민류를 분해할 수 있으나, 다탄소화합물중에서는 malate, succinate, betaine과 같이 극히 제한된 종류의 유기화합물만을 분해할 수 있는 restricted facultative methylotroph였다. 이 균을 분변토에 고정하여 biofilter를 제작하였을 때 TAM gas를 SV $30h^{-1}$, 농도 120ppm를 연속적으로 분해했다. A bacterium, capable of the degradation of trimethylamine(TMA), dimethylamine, and methylamine, was isolated from an enrichment culture on TMA basal mineral medium. The isolate was identified as Methylobacterium some carbon-carbon bonds compounds like malate, succinate, betaine. When the strain was immobilized to earthworm cast, the biofilter could remove the gaseous TMA of SV $30h^{-1}$, concentration of 120ppm, continuously.

        Steroidal Saponin을 이용한 위유, 황정의 분류 및 함량 분석법 개발

        In present study, classification and quality control of Genus Polygonatum were developed using the isolated from Polygonati Odorati Rhizoma and Polygonati Rhizoma. 3 components were isolated from Butanol fractions of Polygonati Rhizoma, and 2 components were isolated from Hexane and Butanol fractions of Polygonati Odorati Rhizoma. All the components were obtained using silica gel and ODS column chromatography. The compounds were identified as adenosine, 14-hydroxylfurost-5-ene-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}2$)-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-D-galactopyranosyl-26-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside, 22-O-methyl-14-hydrocxyfurost-5-ene-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}2$)-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-Dgalactopyranosyl-26-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside, ${\beta}$-Sitosteryl-3-O-${\beta}$-D-D-glucopyranoside, 14-hydoxylfurost-5-ene-3-O-${\beta}$-Dglucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}2$)-O-[${\beta}$-D-xylopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}3$)]-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-D-galactopyranoside through physicochemical data, spectroscopic methods ($^1H$-NMR, $^{13}C$-NMR, Mass) according references. The quality control of genus Polygonatum were conducted using HPLC quantitative analysis of 14-hydroxylfurost-5-ene-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}2$)-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\beta}4$)-O-${\beta}$-D-galactopyranosyl-26-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside, 14-hydoxylfurost-5-ene-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}2$)-O-[${\beta}$-D-xylopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}3$)]-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-D-galactopyranoside in 30 samples collected throughout Korea and China. This method provided a tool for standardization of mix or misusing the commercial Odorati Rhizoma and Polygonati Rhizoma. As a result, contained quantity of 14-hydroxylfurost-5-ene-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}2$)-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-D-galactopyranosyl-26-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside was measured $0.008{\pm}0.006%$ and 14-hydoxylfurost-5-ene-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}2$)-O-[${\beta}$-D-xylopyranosyl-(13)]-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-Dgalactopyranoside was measured $0.026{\pm}0.012%$.

        Simultaneous Analysis of Six Major Compounds in Osterici Radix and Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix by HPLC and Discrimination of Their Origins from Chemical Fingerprint Analysis

        Osterici Radix, the dried roots of Ostericum koreanum Maximowicz, has long been used to treat cold, headache and arthralgia in Chinese medicine. Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, the dried rhizomes and roots of Notopterygium incisum Ting et H.T. Chang or Notopterygium forbesii Boiss (family: Umbelliferae), are well-known traditional Chinese medicines. These all herbal medicines were named kangwhoal in China, Japan and Korea. However no discrimination methods for the origin and no simultaneous analysis methods for bioactive components are currently available. We developed simultaneous analysis of six biomarkers including nodakenin (1), oxypeucedanin (2), bisabolangelone (3), notopterol (4), imperatorin (5), and isoimperatorin (6) using HPLC method. HPLC chromatographic separation was conducted with C18 column and mobile phase of acetonitrile (A) - water (B) (gradient, (A) 35%-65% (30 min)). The analytical condition was validated with specificity, selectivity, linearity (correlation coefficients of all bio marker were more than 0.999.), recovery (94.9-106.8%), precision and accuracy (intra and inter RSD < 2.99%). In addition, principal component analysis and cluster analysis was performed on analytical data of 38 commercial kangwhoal samples from different places. We confirmed to classify kangwhoal origins and this study was applied to quality evaluation and chemotaxonomy of medicinal herbs.

        식방풍의 성분분리 및 생리활성

        In this study, isolation of antioxidative compounds was performed for development of anti-oxidizing agent. $CHCl_3$, $H_2O$, 30%, 60% MeOH, MeOH fractions were examined antioxidative activity by DPPH, test of inhibition on NO production. It was revealed that 30%, 60% MeOH and $CHCl_3$ fractions had significant antioxidative activity. In 30% MeOH and 60% MeOH, $CHCl_3$ fraction, six compounds were isolated and elucidated as adenosine(I), guanosine(II), peucedanol 7-O-$\beta$-D-apiofuranosyl(1$\rightarrow$6)-$\beta$-glucopyranoside(III), peucedanol 7-O-$\beta$-D-glucopyranoside(IV), peucedanol(V) and scopoletin(VI) by physicochemical data and spectroscopic methods. (Negative FAB-MS, $^{1}H-NMR$, $^{13}C-NMR$). The results from antioxidative activity screening for the each compound showed that compound IV was relatively superior antioxidant ability. In anti-inflammatory activation assay, compound III, IV, VI had concentration-dependent-activity and compound IV had superior anti-inflammatory ability. These results suggest that Peucedani Radix might be developed as a potent anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory agents and ingredients for related functional foods.

        익모초의 계절 및 지역별 Rutin 함량변화 연구

        In a pattern analysis of GC-MS of 21 Leonuri herba samples harvested in China and Korea, characteristic differences were observed between Chinese and Korean samples. specifically, Leonuri herba form Hanllasan showed unusual retention time. Rutin was employed as a standard compound of Leonuri herba. All samples had 0.32${\pm}$0.18(%) rutin contents in average, but Korean samples had more rutin than Chinese one, especially the sample from Hanllasan of Jeju showed high-est rutin content (3.2%). In rutin contents of seasonal variation, there were more rutin contents in after blooming, 2years aged Leonuri herba than before.

        하수오 지상부의 활성 성분

        Polygoni Radix (Polygonaceae) has been used as renal disorder, hematopoietic, menstrual irregularity and anti-aging in Korean folk medicine. Specially aerial parts has been used for insomnia and sedative agent. In order to investigate the efficacy of antioxidant activity on these aerial parts, the bio-activity guided fraction and isolation of physiologically active substance were performed. H2O, 30%, 60%, 100% MeOH were examined antioxidant activity by DPPH method. It was revealed that 30%, 60% MeOH fractions have significantly antioxidant activity. From 60% MeOH fraction, six known flavonoid glycosides (quercetin, quercetin 3-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-4'-O-glucopyranoside-3'-methylether, quercetin 3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside, quercetin 3-O-α-L-rhamnophyrano side-4'-methylether, quercetin 3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside, quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside) and 3,4-dihydrocinnamic acid were isolated. To investigated the antioxidant activities of each compounds, we measured radical scavening activity with DPPH method and anti-lipid peroxidative efficacy on low density lipo-protein(LDL) with TBARS assay and anti-acetylcholinestrase activity with Ellman's Test. Four compounds (Ⅱ,Ⅳ,Ⅵ,Ⅷ) of quercetin glycosides showed significant activity.

        특집 : 영성신학의 새로운 지평; 메가시티(Megacity)와 메가처치(Megachurch) -한국의 사례

        이 논문의 목적은 한국의 메가처치(초대형교회) 현상이 갖는 사회학적 함의를 몇 가지 다양한 측면, 곧 (1) 자본주의와 개신교, (2) 영적 시장과 기업가형 목회자, (3) 번영의 복음(혹은 건강과 부의 교회)을 중심으로 밝히는 데 있다. 이 논문의 전제는 아시아(특히 한국)에서 종교적 상품화의 전통이 강하다는 것이다. 1990년대에 세계에는 극적인 변화가 일어났다. 곧, 이른바 ``메가시티``와 ``메가처치``라고 지칭하는 것들이 거의 동시에 지구촌에서 출현한 것이 당시에 일어난 가장 중요한 변동이다. 메가시티는 통상 1천만 명 이상의 인구를 갖는 거대도시 지역으로 정의된다. 메가처치는 한국에서는 10,000명 이상(미국에서는 평균 2,000명 이상)의 사람들이 주일 예배에 참석하는 개신교회를 일컫는 용어이다. 짐멜(1903)을 따라, 나는 메트로폴리스와 그 속에서 나타나는 정신적 삶의 몇 가지 측면-곧, 양화, 객관주의, 피상성, 무관심 그리고 소외 등-을 살펴보았다. 카스텔(1998)이 말하듯이, 메가시티들은 우리의 현 시대의 특징으로 거론되는 새로운 글로벌 경제의 교점이다. 메가시티 속에서 인간의 종교적 신앙은 일상생활에서 드러나는 문화적 혼란(해체)의 경험에 대해서 일련의 질서와 통일감을 제공한다. 최근에 한국에서 메가처치들은 수, 규모, 인기 측면에서 계속 성장세에 있다. 이것은 종교계의 양극화 다른 말로, 이른바 ``종교적 집중``을 보여주는 것이다. 2014년을 기준으로 볼 때, 현재 한국에는 총 19개의 메가처치가 있다. 그중 다수가 서울 수도권의 메트로폴리탄 지역에 있다. 그리고 메가처치 구성원들은 일반의 예상과는 달리 자신들의 영적인 성장을 뚜렷하게 말하고 있다. 중간계급이 지배하는 개신교와 한국의 메가처치 성장을 이해하는 데 중요한 요인 중 하나인 미국식 번영의 복음의 한국판 양자 사이에 밀접한 관계가 존재한다. 이것은 한국에서 이른바 ``압축적 근대화``가 일어나는 가운데 사회가 전통적인 신분제에서 실력사회로 변혁된 것을 잘 증명해 준다고 볼 수 있다. 콜만(2004)을 따라, 나는 이 논문에서 미국식 번영의 복음과 기적적인 것과 물질적인 것을 강조하는 한국의(무속적) 전통(아프리카 혹은 아메리카 인디언 전통도 포함) 양자 사이에 ``선택적 친화성``이 존재한다고 주장하였다. 그리고 마지막 부분에서 나는 미국의 메가처치와 한국의 메가처치 양자의 비교가 필요하다고 제안하였다. The purpose of this paper is to explore the sociological implications of the Korean megachurch phenomenon in terms of various aspects such as 1) capitalism and Protestantism, 2) spiritual market and ‘pastorpreneurs’ (pastor + entrepreneurs), and 3) the prosperity gospel (or health and wealth church). The premise of this study is that the tradition of religious commodification is strong in Asia (specifically in Korea). In the 1990s the world underwent dramatic changes. The most important changes were the simultaneous appearance of what we call ‘megacities’ and ‘megachurches’ globally. Megacity is usually defined as a metropolitan area with a total population in excess of ten million people. Megachurch is a term used to describe a Protestant church having 2,000 or more persons (in the United States) and 10,000 or more persons (in the South Korea) in average weekend attendance. Following Simmel (1903), I have illustrated some aspects of the metropolis and mental life: quantification, objectivism, superficiality, indifference, and alienation. As Castells (1998) says, megacities are the nodal points of a new, global economy that characterizes our time. In the megacities our faith provides a sense of coherence and unity that responds to experiences of cultural fragmentation characteristics of everyday life. Megachurches in South Korea have grown in number, size, and popularity recently. This reflects the so-called ‘religious concentration.’ As of 2014, there are 19 megachurches in the country. Most megachurches are in the Seoul metropolitan area. In fact, megachurch members speak eloquently of their spiritual growth. The close relationship between the middle-class dominating Protestantism and a Korean version of American prosperity gospel as an important factor in understanding the rise of Korean megachurches attests a social transformation from aristocracy to meritocracy in the midst of the so-called ‘compressed modernization’ in South Korea. Following Coleman (2004), here I have argued that there is an elective affinity between the American prosperity gospel and Korean (shamanistic) tradition (including African or Amerindian traditions) which emphasizes the miraculous and the material. Finally, I have suggested that the comparison between American megachurches and Korean megachurches is needed.
