국어과 예비교사와 현직교사의 독해 전략 선택에 관한 비교 연구

본 연구는 국어과 예비교사와 현직교사들의 독해 전략 선택을 분석할 목적으로 수행되었다. 총 25개 단락에서의 독해 전략 선택을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 두 집단 모두 모든 단락에 걸쳐 주로 선택하는 전략의 유형이 제한적이었다. 둘째, 예비교사들은 상대적으로 독해 전략에 대한 심층적 이해가 부족했던 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 현직교사들은 예비교사에 비교적 다양한 전략을 선택하는 양상을 보여 주었는데, 여전히 부족한 점들도 발견되었다. 국어과 예비교사들이 독해 전략 및 전략의 교수를 더욱 잘 이해할 수 있도록 돕는 교사 교육과정의 마련을 기대해 본다. The purpose of this study was to analyze Korean language pre-service and in-service teachers" choice of reading strategies. The results of analysis of participants" selection in 25 paragraphs is below. First, the reading strategies both pre-service and in-service teachers selected were limited in terms of type. Second, it seems that pre-service teachers relatively couldn"t understand reading strategies fully. Third, in-service teachers selected relatively more various reading strategies than pre-service teachers. In-service teachers, however, still had some problems in selecting strategies. It is significant to produce curricula helping pre-service teachers" understanding about reading strategies and teaching of strategies.

독자가 인식하는 좋은 글과 나쁜 글의 기준에 대한 연구 ―의학 전공생의 의학 칼럼 읽기를 중심으로

본 연구는 독자가 좋은 글과 나쁜 글 각각에서 적용하는 기준을 분석함으로써 읽기 교육의 시사점을 도출하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구에는 51명의 의학 전공생이 참여해 좋은 의학 칼럼 2편, 나쁜 의학 칼럼 2편을 각각 선정하고 선정한 근거를 기술하는 글을 작성하였다. 두 연구자는 참여자들이 작성한 글을 분석함으로써 의학 칼럼에 대한 평가기준들을 도출하였다. 참여자들이 비중 있게 꼽은 기준들을 살펴본 결과, 좋은 의학 칼럼을 선정할 때에는 독자의 흥미, 적절한 예시, 가치에 집중한 반면, 나쁜 의학 칼럼 선정 시에는 주제와의 연관성, 조직, 독자의 배경지식에 초점을 둔 것으로 드러났다. 이러한 결과는 최저 수준을 충족하였는지 여부로 글을 1차 평가하고, 더욱 질 높은 글이 갖출 추가적 요건을 상위 수준에 두고 적용하는 독자의 특성을 보여준다. The purpose of this study was to deduct implications for reading education investigating readers’ standards for good texts and bad texts. 51 medical students as participants selected 2 good medical column texts and 2 bad medical column texts individually and composed texts describing the reasons for selection. 2 researchers analyzed participants’ texts and identified various standards for evaluating medical column texts. The findings showed that when asked to select general examples of good texts, the participants focused on “readers’ interest,” “proper examples,” and “value,” but they emphasized “interrelationship of thesis,” “organization,” and “readers’ background knowledge” while selecting high quality reading material for themselves. This results means readers tend to focus minimum standards when they face texts first, and they applicate high-level standards for distinguish more high quality texts.

설득적 텍스트의 읽기 전략 활용 분석 연구

본 연구는 ‘김구의 〈나의 소원〉’을 자료로 삼아, 고등학교 3학년 참여자들이 어떤 전략을 사용하는지를 내용 이해 전략과 내용 평가 전략의 측면에서 그 양상을 살펴보았다. 전략 사용의 빈도를 기준으로 두 개의 집단을 나누고 전략의 활용 양상을 분석하였다. 두 집단 모두 국어 과목에서 상위권의 성적을 받는 학생들이었지만 독해 전략의 선택과 활용 방법에서도 개인차를 나타내었다. 본 연구를 통해 연구자는 학생들의 전략활용에 대한 실상을 파악할 수 있었으며, 개별적인 전략 활용의 구체적인 모습 속에서 효과적인 전략의 사용 모델을 발견할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 실제적인 전략 사용의 분석은 학생들의 전략 지도 방안을 모색할 때 의미 있는 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다. This study aimed to observe and analyze what strategies were adopted by senior students in high school during reading of persuasive texts. As for “My Wish” written by Kim Gu and contained in Korean language textbooks for high school students, investigations were made into what strategies the participants used to understand the contents of the writing and what strategies used to evaluate the contents. Depending upon the frequency of use of the strategy, the participants were grouped into two, and analysis was conducted of patterns in which the strategy was used; as a result, it was recognized that there was a difference in the utilization of the strategy between the two groups. Although all the participants were best students in terms of the subject of Korean language, there was a difference among the individuals concerning how they selected and utilized reading strategies. This study could take a real picture of the utilization of reading strategies adopted by the students and derive models using effective strategies in consideration for detailed aspects for utilizing individual strategies. In addition, it could be concretely known that the students would encounter difficulties while critically reading books. Such an analysis of practical use of strategies will be utilized as a meaningful material for hammering out schemes to teach students what strategy they shall adopt for reading.

학습 전략으로서의 KWLA 사용 양상 분석 연구

This study aims to verify the effect of KWLA Strategy as a writing technique for learning. KWLA Strategy is an effective writing technique designed to help to learn more information on texts and to facilitate individual reactions. For the purpose of this study as described previously, the present author asked two lower ranking first year undergraduates to use KWLA Strategy over sixteen weeks, and closely observed and analyzed the progress of them based on qualitative approach. This study describes intensively the characteristics of the two students in using the strategy, in the aspect of individual activities. And, it also discusses why lower ranking students fail to use efficiently the said strategy.

북클럽(Book Club) 활동에 적합한 텍스트 요건 분석- 중학교 1학년 국어 교과서의 문학 작품을 중심으로

북 클럽 활동은 읽기, 쓰기, 이야기하기의 포괄적인 개념으로서의 읽기를 지도할 수 있으며, 동시에 삶에 대한 방식, 의미, 가치 등 여러 문제들을 이해하고 해석, 비판하고 내면화할 수 있다는 장점을 지닌다. 그런 점에서 우리의 국어과 수업 현장에서 적극 활용할 수 있는 읽기 활동 모형이 될 것이다. 그런데 이러한 북 클럽 활동에는 어떠한 텍스트를 사용하는 것이 좋은가? 또, 교과서에 제시된 문학 텍스트는 북 클럽 활동을 하기에 적합한가? 연구자는 이러한 문제에 대한 논의를 하기 위해 중학교 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 교과서에 수록된 소설 텍스트를 가지고 북 클럽 활동을 수행하게 한 다음, 학생들이 텍스트에 반응하는 양상을 관찰하였다. 그 결과, 중학교 1학년 학생들의 북 클럽 활동에 적합한 텍스트가 갖추어야 할 요건을 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있었다. 첫째, 텍스트는 학생들이 재미와 흥미를 느낄 수 있어야 한다. 둘째, 자신과 비슷한 나이의 주인공이 등장하는 것이 좋다. 셋째, 작품의 배경은 독자 자신, 가족, 이웃이나 학교와 관련된 친숙하고 일반적인 것이 좋다. 넷째, 텍스트의 구조는 비교적 단순한 것이 좋다. Book club activity can guide reading as the comprehensive concept of reading, writing, telling, and make us understand various problems such as attitude, meaning and value to our lives. Therefore, it may be a good reading activity model that can be used actively in our korean classrooms. However, “which texts will be useful for Book Club activity?” And, “Are literature texts in our textbooks suitable for Book Club activity?” I made first grade middle school students perform Book Club activity with novel texts in their textbook, and then observed the aspects of reacting to the texts. As a result, I could summarize that some elements should be satisfied in texts for Book Club activity of first grade middle school students. First, students should be interested in the texts. Second, it is good a hero of students` age is appeared in texts. Third, the work`s background should be the general and familiar one which is related to readers, their family, neighbor and their school. Finally, as for the structure, the shorter the better.

모둠 독서 활동에서의 인지적 독서 행동 변화 양상

Book Club activity has its theoretical foundation as follows: (1) the Social Constructivism assuming that meaning is made by social interactions, (2) Reader Response Theory underlining the role of reader in the appreciation of literature, and (3) Cooperated Learning emphasizing student-centered. Book Club activity is composed of reading, discussing and writing activities. In this Study, the researcher managed as a teacher a book club program in which 10th grade male students participated for 13 consecutive weeks (the Book Club Program). In addition, the researcher observed and analyzed those students’ change of attitudes in learning and etc. by using qualitative methods. Moreover, the researcher discussed in great detail a teacher’s role in running the Book Club Program since the teacher’s instruction is significant part of such Program. At the beginning of the Program, students went through Periods of Searching for Adaptation and Periods of Conflict and Confrontation. After those periods, they reached Periods of Stability and Settlement. In other words, although students at the beginning of the Program showed a simple ability to catch and recognize only literal contents, they developed fully-enhanced abilities such as reconstruction of story, critical inquiry on text, and internalization of the contents on text at the end of the Program. Furthermore, they enhanced communication skills through small group discussions.

융합독서를 위한 워크북 개발 사례 분석 연구

A reading debate is an effective way for fusion education, which is to be conducted in Korean language education. In particular, a theme-contented reading approach can integrate materials related to a subject or topic in an interdisciplinary manner. The present researcher suggested a project to would-be teachers for 2nd graders in the Korean language education department, mathematics education department, and English education department of middle school. The project is to develop learning materials to conduct fusion reading to 1st graders, with a focus on a novel entitled “Mo-mo.” And the researcher analyzed a learning materials production process by employing a qualitative research method, with a focus on a group composed of students majoring in multiple subjects and a group composed only of Korean language education department students. Initial and idea-level materials were turned into learning materials via a process of continued checks and coordinations, and the patterns of the process were analyzed in terms of the selection of learning subjects, the formation of individual learning activities, and the organization. This research has investigated into a practical process to develop workbook for fusion reading and examined the requirements of a reading debate for fusion reading. Moreover, it has derived specific suggestions for roles to be played by teachers of each department in a (team teaching) process to prepare and lead fusion reading.

UCC 매체 제작 전략 활용 양상 분석 연구

UCC 제작은 국어교육의 측면에서 중요한 교육적 효과를 가진다. 우선, UCC 제작을 통해 학습자의 자기 주도적 언어능력, 매체적 상상력, 디지털 스토리텔링의 능력을 기를 수 있다. 이에 UCC 매체 제작 과정을 이해하고, 그 과정에 어떤 전략과 요인이 작용하는지에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 우선, UCC 제작과 관련된 논문들을 통해 UCC 제작 단계 및 전략 활용에 대한 연구의 경향을 분석하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 예비 교사를 대상으로 UCC 제작 과제를 부여하고, 과제를 수행하는 과정에서의 전략 활용 양상을 분석하였다. 이 연구에 참여한 3개의 모둠에서 공통적으로 활용한 전략을 중심으로 기술하되, 효과적으로 활용한 양상과 전략 활용에 문제를 보인 지점 등을 중심으로 참여자의 전략에 대한 인식을 분석하였다. UCC production can expand the learner’s self-directed language abilities and can materialize media imagination. UCC production tasks were offered to pre-teachers, with a view to analyzing what strategies they used to carry out the tasks, by employing a qualitative research method. UCC production processes were divided into ‘planning, synopsis preparation, photographing, editing, reviewing, presentation’ steps and an investigation was made into detailed strategies which the teachers employed in each of the steps. Examinations were conducted into such strategies as were commonly utilized in three groups, with a focus on patterns most effectively used and on portions in which strategy utilization had some problems.
