Resveratrol의 항산화 및 산화촉진 활성이 세포독성에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 다양한 생리활성이 보고된 폴리페놀 화합물인 resveratrol의 항산화 활성과 산화촉진 작용을 세포 내에 조성될 수 있는 여러 pH 조건에서 시간별로 분석하고, resveratrol의 세포독성에 미치는 antioxidant들의 작용을 조사하였다. Resveratrol 을 pH 6.5에서 저장하였을 경우 pH 7.4에서 저장하였을 때보다 유의적으로 높은 DPPH 라디칼 소거활성을 나타내었다. Resveratrol 을 pH 8.0에서 저장시 항산화 활성을 나타내지 않았으며, 오히려 다른 조건에서 보다 현저히 많은 H₂O₂를 생성하는 산화촉진 효과를 나타내었다. Resveratrol의 HeLa 세포에 대한 독성은 SOD, NAC, glutathione, ascorbic acid 등과 같은 antioxidant 존재하에 유의적으로 증가하였으며, 이러한 독성의 강화는 첨가된 antioxidant 의 농도에는 크게 영향 받지 않았다. 본 결과는 resveratrol이 세포 내 pH 환경에 따라 antioxidant 또는 H₂O₂와 같은 활성산소종을 생성하는 prooxidant로 작용할 수 있으며, resveratrol로부터 생성되는 활성산소종의 제거가 세포독성을 증가시킬 수 있음을 시사한다. Resveratrol is a polyphenolic compound frequently found in the diet, and its physiological actions have been extensively investigated. In the present study, modulation of the antioxidant and cytotoxic properties of resveratrol at different pHs by various antioxidants were investigated. To measure its antioxidant effects, resveratrol was incubated at different pHs, including 6.5, 7.4, and 8.0. Resveratrol incubated at pH 6.5 showed significantly higher DPPH radical scavenging activity, whereas resveratrol incubated at pH 8.0 did not show antioxidant effects. Resveratrol produced much higher amounts of H₂O₂ at pH 8.0 than 7.4. The cytotoxic effects of resveratrol on HeLa cells were significantly enhanced by several antioxidants, including superoxide dismutase, N-acetyl cysteine, glutathione, and ascorbic acid. The present results suggest that resveratrol shows anti- or pro-oxidant effects in different cellular organelles according to the pH conditions, and blocking of reactive oxygen species from resveratrol enhances its cytotoxic effects.
컬러드 페트리 넷과 사회 관계망 마이닝을 이용한 공급사슬 프로세스 분석의 방법론

Supply chains have become more complex due to globalization, JIT production, outsourcing, single sourcing, and the focus on removing slack from supply chains. While many of these strategies have improved performance, they have also made supply chains more vulnerable to abnormal processes. This paper proposes a methodology for the analysis of supply chain processes using coloured petri-net (CPN) and social network mining. The proposed methodology consists of three phases. In the first phase, the event logs of supply chain processes are collected by using CPN model. In the second phase, the resource social network event frequency matrix and resource social network graph are obtained through social network mining on the event logs. In the third phase, the critical abnormal resource is identified and the process improvement alternatives for it are evaluated. The proposed methodology is validated using a simplified global supply chain of a consumer electronics manufacturing company in Republic of Korea.

독서는 독자들의 자아실현과 정보를 습득하는 측면에서 아주 중요한 활동이다. 그러나 최근 들어 개인 독서량은 하락하는 추세이다. 그 원인으로는 도서의 난도와 그에 따른 이해력 부족이 있다. 등장인물이 다양하거나 관계가 복잡한 경우에 독자는 내용을 이해하는 데 어려움을 느낄 수 있다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 본 논문에서는 독자가 직접 책을 읽으면서 책 속 등장인물 관계도를 제작할 수 있는 애플리케이션을 제안한다. 본 애플리케이션의 주요 기능은 그림판 방식으로 도형을 추가 및 이동하고, 해당 도형들을 조합하여 트리 구조의 등장인물 관계도를 제작한다. 결과적으로 본 애플리케이션은 독자가 복잡한 책을 간편하게 정리함으로써 독서를 편하게 하도록 지원한다. Reading is a very important activity in terms of readers’ self-realization and information acquisition. However, in recent years, personal reading has been on the decline, and the reasons for this are the difficulty of reading and the resulting lack of understanding. When the characters are diverse or the relationship is complicated, the reader may find it difficult to understand the content. To compensate for these shortcomings, this paper proposes a system that allows readers to create relationships diagram between characters in books while reading books themselves. It provides a function to add and move shapes in a drawing board method, and it is a method of creating a tree-structured character relationship diagram by combining the figures. As a result, this application provides readers with an easy way to organize and read complex books.

AA amyloidosis is one of the most significant complications of rheumatoid arthritis characterized by the deposition of amyloid A (AA) in multiple organs and tissues in the body. This disorder displays variable clinical symptoms depending upon the involved organ and a diagnosis is rendered through a biopsy of the affected organ, followed by staining using Congo-red which reveals an apple-green birefringence. Fundamental disease control is critical in the treatment of AA amyloidosis. Anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha (anti TNF- ) agents are promising in inducing clinical remission by suppressing systemic inflam α - mation in AA amyloidosis. We report a case of AA amyloidosis in a 71 year old woman with rheumatoid arthritis that responded well to infliximab therapy.
