        온라인 토익 수업에서 대학생 영어 학습자의 모둠활동 경험에 대한 현상학적 연구

        The purpose of this study is to explore the perspectives of learners who took an online TOEIC course focusing on problem-solving and the learners’ experiences of change and growth through online small-group activities. The research design is an empirical phenomenological study that explores learners’ experience with intersubjective reduction. Five semi-structured interviews, a hermeneutic circle, and analyses of themes, and changes of attitudes were used for data collection and analysis. As results of the study, three categories, four theme clusters, and nine themes were identified. This study not only described learners’ learning experiences, including their emotions, such as psychological burdens, fun, satisfaction, and intimacy based on their language, but also expressed the change and growth experience commensurate with the interaction of small-group members and the learning process. The implication is that further research should continue to closely examine the change and growth experience of individual learners and continuously develop a pedagogical approach, which focuses on self-directness, self-efficacy, learning motivation and attitude, based on learners’ language and perspectives.

        영어 읽기 전략 훈련을 위한 플립형 수업의 적용: 학습자 수준별 읽기 성취도 및 전략 사용 측면으로

        Reading strategies play a significant role in improving reading comprehension achievement, and therefore, reading strategy training supports different levels of leaners by explicitly teaching and modeling reading strategies. Flipped learning, a instructional method which has developed alongside the rise of educational technology, may be useful for reading strategy training, which delivers lecture on reading strategies through online platforms and uses class time for practicing strategies with student-centered activities. The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of flipped reading strategy training for learners representing different levels of reading ability. The participants were 103 university students in TOEIC reading courses and divided into three groups, according to reading proficiency (low-intermediate-high). Pre- and post-tests were used to measure the learners’ reading achievement, and a reading strategy survey was distributed to inquire about their use of strategies. The results showed that 1) the students’ reading ability was significantly improved across all three levels; 2) the students used learner strategies most frequently, test-management strategies next-most-often, and test-wise strategies least of all. Further, there was a significant difference in the use of strategies across the three levels of reading ability. From these findings, the study suggests possibilities for adopting flipped reading strategy training in English reading classes, especially in those engaged in test-preparation classrooms.

        모바일기반 언어학습 효과에 대한 국내연구 메타분석

        Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) has long been used as a tool in teaching and learning English language. Since the mid-2000, there have been numerous studies on using MALL in Korea. These studies have revealed meaningful effects of MALL; however, the results have not been consistent, being dependent on the different research setting. This study conducted a meta-analysis of 32 studies published in Korea between 2006 and 2021. The four criteria for selecting target studies were: the year of publication, experimental studies, pre- and post- test methods, and the use of mobile devices for intervention. The findings of the meta-analysis showed that MALL did not have as large an effect as expected on language ability achievement. Overall effect size was .488 which is considered a moderate effect size. In addition, based on meta-ANOVA analysis, the school level and language skill areas caused a significant difference on the impact of MALL; for instance, university students (.906) and grammar (.698) showed relatively high effects on language ability achievement. Limitation and suggestions for further studies are presented.

        기술기반 셀프서비스(TBSS)에 대한 외식소비자의 이용태도 및 이용의도 분석: 기술준비수용모형(TRAM모형)을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is as follows. This study investigated variations in consumers’ technology-based self-service usage attitude and usage intentions throughout TRAM model. In the theoretical review, definitions of major concepts were suggested, and a research hypothesis was established to verify the influential relations between the related variables. The survey of consumers experiencing technology-based self-service was conducted in this study and only 326 validated questionnaires were used in the analysis. The results of analysis of the collected data are as follows. First, it was shown that TRI (optimism, innovativeness, insecurity, discomfort) had significant effect on perceived usefulness. Second, TRI (optimism, insecurity, discomfort) was influencing perceived ease of use, while innovativeness did not affect. Third, it was found that perceived ease of use had significant effects on perceived usefulness, usage attitude and usage intention. Fourth, perceived usefulness had an impact on usage attitude and usage attitude was influencing usage intention. Finally, differences in demographic characteristics revealed statistically significant differences according to gender, age, and the number of technology-based self-service devices used in the last three months. Based upon these results, this study suggested strategies and countermeasures to promote the use of technology-based self-service by analyzing the tendencies of eating out consumers, and discussed theoretical and practical implications.

        신탁공매시 우선수익자의 채권회수 특징에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 채권자인 우선수익자를 대상으로 신탁공매가 우선수익자의 채권 회수 시 어떠한 특징을 가졌는지 알아보고자 부동산신탁사의 실무 사례를 통해 실증연구를 진행하였으며 전국 지역의 126개의 신탁공매 사례를 대상으로 신탁의 회수율과 그 외 신탁공매 변수 간의 관계를 파악하였다. 그 결과, 우선수익자의 형태가 시기별로 변하고 있음을 확인했다. 금융회사인 우선수익자가 신탁공매를 통해 처분권을 실행하면서 신탁의 장점을 최대한 활용한 시기를 확인해보면 2010년 이후부터는 본격적으로 제2금융권인 저축은행, 신협, 새마을금고 등에서 신탁공매를 활용하여 채권회수를 하고있음을 알 수 있었다. 다음은 우선수익자별로 공매 관련 특성을 비교·분석한 결과, 원리금, 감정평가금액, 실시회차, 낙찰회차 외에는 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 나오지 않았다. 이는 신탁공매를 활용하여 채권을 회수하는 방식에 있어서 우선수익자별 특징이 없다는 것을 의미한다. 앞서 언급했듯이 우선수익자는 신탁공매를 통해 회수하고자 하는 금액을 정할 수 있고 매각방식과 실시회차를 정할 수도 있다. 그 외의 변수는 신탁사 내 규정에 따라 이루어지며 그 규정은 우선수익자별 차이를 두지 않는다. 따라서 신탁공매를 하는데 있어 우선수익자별 변수의 차이가 나타나지 않는다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구는 실무상 수집된 정보들로 데이터 및 변수를 설정하고 실제 우선수익자들이 신탁공매를 통해 채권회수 시 어떠한 특징이 있는지를 파악하는 실증분석을 하였다. 신탁공매는 법적으론 사적 매매에 가깝지만, 공적으로 신뢰와 공정성이 확보되어야 하는 절차이므로 우선수익자의 채권회수에 중요한 방법이 될 수 있다고 생각하며 본 연구 이후에도 추가적인 연구가 속행되어 신탁공매의 발전에 도움이 될 수 있길 바란다.

        제 4차 산업혁명시대에서 집단적 대중관광의 이중성과 딜레마

        The purpose of this study is to establish a new perspective of tourism. Actually, the current tourism requires new change in order to enhance the competitiveness as the evolution of the 4th Industrial Revolution. This study examines the duality and dilemma of collective mass tourism based on the theory of sociology in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, and discusses the necessary measures for sustainable development of tourism industry in this age. The introduction explains the changes in the tourism industry during the 4th industrial revolution era. In Chapter 2, this study shows that the actor network theory is similar to the growth process of the tourism industry in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, and presents a new perspective on technology and tourists. In Chapter 3, this study discusses the background and the duality of social structure and in Chapter 4 discusses the social dilemma of collective mass tourism and rational choice theory, and discusses the rational rationality theory to overcome it. This study delves into the social structure and the behaviors of tourists with integrated way by approaching the existing researches which have done in statistic, quantitative, individual and microscopical way. In addition, this study attempts integrated discussion on social phenomenon by applying sociological theory. 본연구의목적은4차산업혁명시대에관광산업의경쟁력제고를위해, 변화가요구되는 관광학의 새로운 시각을 확립하는데 있다. 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명시대에 집단적 대중관광을 사회학에서의 이론을 바탕으로 어떠한 이중성과 딜레마가 있는지 알아보고, 이 시대에 맞는 관광산업의 지속가능한 발전을 위해 필요한 대응방안에 대해 논의하였다. 서론에서는4차 산업혁명시대의 관광산업의변화현상에대해언급하였고, 2장에서는행위자네트워크이론이4차산업혁명시대의 관광산업의 성장과정과 유사함을밝히며기술과관광자에대한새로운시각을제시하였다. 3장에서는집단적대중관광의관광행위가 나타나게 된 배경과 사회구조의 이중성에 대해 논의하였고, 4장에서는 집단적 대중관광과합리적선택이론의사회적딜레마에대해언급하고이를극복하기위한일상적합리성 이론을 논의하였다. 본 연구는 기존의 관광학에서 활발하게 진행되어 온 통계 중심적이고 양적이며 개인적, 미시적 입장에서의 연구를 통합적인 방법으로 접근하여 사회구조와 관광자의 행위를 설명하였다. 또한, 관광학에 사회학 이론을 적용하여 사회현상에 대한 통합적 논의를 시도하였다.

        포스트 코로나를 준비하는 대학 교양영어 교육의 전망 : 온·오프라인 수업 효과 비교

        The year 2020 started with Coronavirus disease (COVID), and most schools, including universities, conducted online distance learning for the whole year. The following is a study on the prospect of general English education at the university level in preparation for post-COVID. To this end, this study compares the educational effects between traditional offline classes and online-only classes and explores the direction of English education to improve basic competencies among university education. In this study, pre- and post-test scores were compared between 2019, when traditional offline classes were held, and 2020, when full online classes were held. In addition, the study examined students’ perceptions and needs for online distance learning through a survey and a semi-structured interview. The results indicate that the participants improved their English scores in offline classes more than in online classes. Additionally, the post-test scores from online classes significantly differed according to the students’ majors: for instance, social science majors, unlike students in most other majors, improved their English level more through online classes. On the other hand, students responded that the advantages of online classes were the convenience of time and place, ease of repetitive learning, and increased learning time. Based on these results, pedagogical implications and academic suggestions for future research are presented in preparation for general English education in the post-COVID era.

        Investigating Student Perspectives in the Utilization of AI-Driven Writing Feedback Tools

        This study evaluated students' perspectives on the use of technology-based feedback tools. A total of 48 students majoring in English education participated in the study. A set of 30 questions was employed to capture their insights. Closed-ended questions were subjected to Excel analysis for mean scores and standard deviations, while content analysis was applied to open-ended responses. The outcomes revealed that the most valuable aspect of these tools was their grammar checking functionality, and students expressed a general satisfaction with the feedback provided. However, students reported instances where the tools misunderstood their intended meaning or suggested inappropriate corrections. Despite their effectiveness being perceived as equal, there was still a preference for traditional feedback, which was considered more beneficial than technological tools. Addressing concerns about plagiarism, participants expressed a nuanced stance, as reflected in a mean score of 3.65. A significant 85.1% of the participants felt educational institutions need to offer guidelines or training on the effective use of these tools, particularly in the context of plagiarism detection.
