High frequency voltage signal injection have been widely used but they have some problems like over current protection. High frequency current signal injection and feedback control are more stable than voltage signal injection. In this paper, high frequency current controller for self-sensing and parameter estimation of induction motors is presented.

Prototypensemantik und Stereotypensemantik haben zu zwei wesentlichen Veränderungen gegenüber der traditionellen Semantik geführt. Daher wird die in der Sprachwissenschaft bis dahin übliche Trennung von sprachlichem und außersprachlichem Wissen aufgehoben. Die notwendigen Merkmale werden durch prototypische oder stereotypische Merkmale ersetzt und sind vom Status her nicht mehr gleichwertig, sondern mehr oder weniger typisch. Obwohl beide Ansätze aus unterschiedlichen theoretischen Umfeldern stammen, werden sie oft wie terminologische Varianten zur Bezeichnung desselben Phänomens in Deutschland verwendet. Ihnen ist der Versuch gemeinsam, eine Erklärung für die Subsumption von Gegenständen unter einen Begriff zu geben. Aber es gibt grundlegende Unterschiede zwischen diesen beiden Theorien: im einen Fall geht es um den sprachlichen Bezug auf die Wirklichkeit, im anderen um die mentalen Prozesse der Sprachverarbeitung. Für die sinnvolle Verwendung der Ideen wird in der vorliegenden Arbeit versucht, die Rolle von Prototyp und Stereotyp in der lexikalischen Semantik und Unterschiede zwischen Prototypensemantik und Stereotypensemantik zu beleuchten.

Regarding the role of automatic processes in human thoughts and behavior in social psychology, a number of studies have demonstrated that automatic priming effects of ‘gender’ can occur even when the primary meaning for the words does not include the direct gender-related meaning. The purpose of this research has three aspects: (1) to examine whether automatic priming effects on the ‘male’ and ‘female’ social categories will occur with Korean EFL university students, (2) to find out if there are any differences of the priming effects between gender stereotype words and gender suffix words, and (3) to investigate how Korean EFL university students show the rating of the gender typicality of the prime words. As a result, the significant priming effects were observed on the ‘gender’ social category, which were more saliant with the suffix type than the stereotype primes. Also, the rating of the gender typicality showed some attributes related to the sociocultural factors.

According to Social Role Theory, gender stereotypes are characterized as dynamic constructs influenced by actual and perceived social role changes of men and women. When gender inequality in the economic sphere was persistent in Korea, a lower level of women’s participation was reflected in social roles. However, as the employment rate of women has steadily increased since the mid 80s, this change of social trend contributed to the dynamic aspects of gender stereotype. This study investigated how different age groups perceive gender stereotypes. It showed that the factor of age plays a significant role in the perception of dynamic gender stereotypes. It was found that the younger age group, consisting of teenagers, showed a significant discrepancy between the actual social employment conditions and the perception level of dynamic gender stereotypes. On the other hand, the psychodynamic perception of the older age groups appeared more clearly than in the other age groups.

ESP, English for specific purposes, is an approach to language teaching that has been found to be effective for students who are strongly motivated in their social lives or towards their future goals. With this in mind, the purpose of this study was to investigate whether or not the use of QR code in cellular phones can be effective in teaching a course for ESP such as Medical Tourism English. For the study, twenty six students participated in a questionnaire survey and an interview. Moreover, four independent tests in total, two tests before using QR codes in class and two tests after using QR codes were taken interchangeably based on a time serial analysis. As a result, positive effects were observed in both test results, questionnaire survey, and interview; and the mean scores of those tests after the QR code activities were higher than in those without the activities. In addition, the questionnaire survey and interview data supported the findings; especially, the QR code activity, which helped to decipher the meaning of the technical medical terms and of the process, which students have not experienced so they were not familiar with. In summary, these findings indicate that QR code activities have positive pedagogical implications for ESP education.
