항공사에서 정시성(on-time performance, OTP)이란, 항공사의 신뢰성의 척도이며, 타 항공사와 비교할 때 중요한 지표로 활용된다. 본 연구는 코로나로 인해 항공 편수가 급격히 줄어든 2020년 3월을 기준으로 전후 1년간의 국내 K항공사 자료를 분석하여 지연 요인들이 항공사의 정시성에 미치는 영향 및 강도를 분석하였다. 또한, 계절에 따른 기상 영향으로 발생되는 지연을 분석하였으며, 코로나 상황으로 급감한 승객이 지연요인에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 연구하였다. 지연 요인(delay factor)은 IATA의 지연 코드(delay code)에 자체 코드를 추가한 K 항공사의 지연 코드를 적용하였다. 본 연구의 분석을 바탕으로 항공사의 정시성에 영향을 주는 지연 요인을 최소화하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다. In airlines, on-time performance (OTP) is a measure of an airline’s reliability and can be used as an important indicator when compared to other airlines. This study analyzed the effects and strength of delay factors on airline punctuality by analyzing the data of domestic K airlines for one year before and after March 2020, when the number of flights drastically decreased due to the corona virus. In addition, delays caused by seasonal weather effects were analyzed, and how the number of passengers who plummeted due to the corona situation had an effect on delay factors was studied. As for the delay factors, the delay codes of K airline which added its own codes to the delay codes of IATA, were applied. Based on the results of the analysis, we would like to suggest a method to minimize the delay.

Culture is that the system of shared beliefs, values, customs, behaviors, and artifacts that the members of society use to cope with their world and with one another, and that are transmitted from generation to generation through learning. Members of an organization are affected by culture. And dissensions in an organization give negative effects to behavior of the members, especially to satisfaction from organization. This study is on the dissension management by considering of cultural characteristics of pilots. Cultural characteristics of pilots were surveyed and analyzed with the VSM94(values survey module94) which was developed by Hofstede. As results, the cultural indexes of the pilots were different from the national means. The indexes presented that korean pilots` cultural characteristics are low PDI, high IDV, low MAS and low UAI as North European cultural characteristics. For managing the pilots group, make expansion of opportunity to take part in decision making, release or share of informations are required. And motivations, delegation, free from unnecessary interventions, understanding and forgiveness rather than disciplinary punishment, thoughtful considerations could be effectiveness. And for developing more effective management methods, management strategies of north european airlines should be studied.

Meteorological factors have a profound impact on aircraft operation and safety. Weather-related incidents accounted for 8% of all accident reports, according to data from the U.S. Federal Transportation Safety Commission’s 2009–2018 U.S. aviation accident/quasi-accident survey. The tendency of lightning strikes in domestic airports and surrounding areas is increasing year by year, but unlike major overseas airports, there is no official lightning warning system other than the radio wave system in case of lightning strikes from the Korea Meteorological Administration. Since each operator issues its own alerts based on the Significant Meteorological Information report, small agencies such as low-cost airlines have limited capabilities to mitigate lightning damage. This study aims to support the safety and smooth air traffic control of ground operators and aircraft through the introduction of lightning warning systems and equipment in Korea to protect ground workers and aircraft safety.

비행 편수의 증가 추세는 관제 밀접도를 높여 항공관제사와 조종사간 communication 실수를 유발할 수 잇는데 특히 호출 부호(Call Sign)의 혼동, 착각에 의한 경우가 많은 것으로 나타나고 있다. 항공 관제사와 조종사간의 communication 실수는 항공기 고도 위반, 활주로 침범, CFIT, 공중 충돌, Near Miss로 인한 위험 상황을 초래할 수 있다, 본 연구는 민간 항공사에 근무하는 조종사들의 유사 콜사인에 대한 혼동 정도와 위험성 인식을 설문 조사하였으며 이를 분석하여 방지 대책을 모색하였다. 국내 조종사의 외국인 조종사의 혼동 정도와 위험성 인식의 차이는 나타나지 않았으며 공항이 위치한 국가에 따라 혼동 정도의 차이가 있었다. 동일 항공사에서 나타나는 유사 콜사인은 자체 해결 가능하였지만 타 항공사와 의 유사 콜사인을 해결하는 데는 한계가 있어 관계 기관의 적극적인 중재가 요구된다.
