A study has been performed to investigate on the dynamic behavior of bridges crossed by the KTX(Korea Train express). The investigated bridge is a 2-span continuous concrete box bridge with spans of 40 m length named Yeon-Jae bridge. We have performed many field tests on the dynamic behaviors of a real bridge for KTX using various sensors. For this study, various sensors have been installed on the Yeon- ]ae bridge located in the experimental section of the KHSR(Korea High-Speed Railway) track and tests have been performed. Through this study, it is known that effects of local modes and sleepers in the box-girder bridge for the KTX on the dynamic responses is remarkable. Therefore, in the investigation on the accelerations of the box-girder bridge, three dimensional model should be adopted in numerical analysis including the effects of sleepers. The effect of temperature on the accelerations of the bridge should be investigated in the further studies to determine the reason of excessive acceleration.

Concrete filled tube(CFT) which has various merits of good loading capacity, excellent deformable performance, reduced noise and vibration generation has conveniencies and economical aspects in design and construction for bridges. A real scale test on the model bridge with CFT girder was performed to evaluate applicability to railway bridges through checking on vibration efficiency. Major factors which give rise to vibration of railway bridge are crossing trains, working machines, earthquake, and wind. Check on the bridge vibration induced by crossing trains is very important to ensure riding performance of them. Dynamic capacity as well as bearing capacity and workability of CFT girder is necessary to guarantee applicability to railway bridge. In this study, a real scale bridge model was made in structural laboratory and various tests on dynamic characteristics(dynamic elastic modulus, damping ratio, natural frequencies, and mode shapes) was performed. In addition to this, simulation tests on crossing trains using dynamic actuators were performed and various responses(vertical displacements, accelerations, end-rotations of the model) were measured. From the result of this study, it is verified that the bridge with CFT girders may have sufficient dynamic performance for railway bridge.
튜브형 수중교량의 열차-교량 상호작용해석을 통한 공진현상 분석

이 연구에서는 튜브형 수중교량을 통과하는 열차시스템의 구조물-차량 상호작용 해석법을 개발하고, 동적거동특성을 조사하고자 한다. 유체의 영향을 고려하기 위하여 부가질량개념을 도입하고, 또한 수중교량의 진동모우드 중첩법에 기초한 차량-교량구조물의 동적 상호작용해석방법을 적용한다. 상용프로그램인 ABAQUS를 이용하여 수중교량을 모델링하여 진동모우드를 추출하였으며, KTX차량 주행시의 동적 상호작용해석을 실시하여 수중교량 및 열차의 동적 거동을 파악한다. 수중교량과 같이 저주파의 특성이 지배적인 교량에서는 저속에서 공진에 의한 응답값의 확대를 관찰할 수 있었으며, 부력에 의한 솟음이 열차와의 상호작용을 통해 교량 및 차량에 공진을 유발하므로 이에 대한 대비가 필요한 것으로 판단된다. This study intends to develop an algorithm for the dynamic interaction analysis of submerged floating tunnel and vehicles. A tension leg submerged floating tunnel is selected and modeled by the commercial FEM program ABAQUS to investigate its modal characteristics and conduct the dynamic interaction analysis. The added mass concept is applied to represent the inertial force by a fluid, and then dynamic interaction analyses are conducted with superposition method when the KTX moves along the submerged floating tunnel. From the result, the resonance phenomenon is observed under specific conditions and so countermeasures are required to cancel out the resonance phenomenon.

경부고속철도 교량은 대부분 콘크리트교량으로 2@40m와 3@25m의 박스거더교량의 대표적인 형식이다. 일부구간에서 단경간 또는 2경간 연속 50 m 2주형을 갖는 강합성교량이 건설되었다. 연행하는 차륜이 반복해서 통과하는 철도교량은 주기적인 동적하중에 의하여 공진이 발생할 수 있으며, 특히 고속전철이 통과하는 교량은 저속차량이 통과하는 일반철도보다 공진의 발생가능성이 클 뿐 아니라 고속으로 주행하는 열차의 주행안정성 확보를 위해서 엄격한 제한조건을 만족시켜야 하는 엄밀한 동적설계 조건을 갖게 된다. 그러한 조건 중에서 가속도의 제한 규정은 UIC에서 제안된 기준치로서 도상을 갖는 경우에 0.35g이하를 만족시키도록 요구하고 있다. 현재 KTX가 주행하는 교량에서는 일부구간 및 시점에서 규정치를 초과하는 값을 보이고 있는 것으로 계측되었으며, 그 원인 및 대책마련을 위한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 그러한 과도한 가속도의 원인 규명을 위한 각종 매개변수 연구와 그 해결책 마련을 위한 연구를 수행하였으며, 경제적이면서도 효과적인 진동저감 방안을 제시하고 있다.
고속전철교량의 동적거동에 미치는 감쇠와 교좌장치의 영향

The objective of this study is to investigate the dynamic behaviors of KHSR(Korea High-Speed Railway) bridge supported by elastomeric bearings subjected to high-speed vehicles. The effects of damping on the dynamic behaviors are also studied. The train composed of two power cars, two motor cars and eighteen passenger cars are simulated using constant moving forces for simplicity and effectiveness in the analysis. Direct integration method are used to solve the dynamic equation of motion. The bridge analyzed is real bridge with 2@40 m span and concrete continuos box girder. The bridge is modelled using frame element in three dimensional space. From the results of this study, the effects of elastomeric bearing on the dynamic responses of bridge(especially vertical accelerations) may cause undesirable behaviors. Damping are very important in the dynamic behaviors of the bridge subjected to high-speed railways. And so, dynamic analysis of steel bridge for high-speed railway supported by elastomeric bearings should be performed carefully.
